Make sure to wrap up warm when out exploring London in winter. Then, take refuge from the cold in one of London's cosy pubs, or enjoy a hot drink with a view on a heated rooftop terrace transformed for winter.

Last weekend I had a lovely time in London. My new favourite place is the Wellcome Collection - seen here the coffee, a delicious halloumi salad in the 2nd floor restaurant and a few pictures of the amazing Reading Room. The decor and contents and atmosphere were inspiring and relaxing at the same time, especially on a rainy Saturday afternoon, it’s such a great place to escape from the drizzle and cold - look it up, on Euston Road near the end of Great Portland Street. The other pictures show highlights of Lumiere London, and some massive sculptures at St Pancras Church, a quick shot of London landmarks from the Southbank; last but not least my lovely knitted cup holder on a take away coffee.
