Book 2 in a series about 2 sisters and their big brother the Duke. This is Pippa & Hugh, the Marquess of Ravenscroft who happens to be a good friend of her brothers. I'll start with the book cover, gorgeous, Forever After Romance Designs...have no idea who it is but they made remarkable cover art.

The story is a cute one, Pippa wants to own a dressmakers shop to showcase her own designs. It's her lifelong dream but her brother won't giver he her dowery money to buy one, he doesn't want her going into trade. If she marries the money goes to her husband so choosing the right husband will get her hands on the funds. She wants a husband who'll leave her alone and he has his own money & won't take hers. Through a mix-up Hugh gets involved & and has to convince her to stay with him. They have a lovely HEA. Having Hugh declare his feelings first is a nice twist, why not have him chase her. Up next is the Duke himself, he's gotten himself in a mess with the lady he becomes involved with so his plot should be very interesting.

What a fun little romp! We follow Katherine after the death of her husband Merri, where she discovers that he had two other wives. All of them left without funds or help band together to see if they can sort out the mess. Christian, Duke of Randford, Meri’s brother, has no idea what to do but steps in to help the women. Katherine, running a textile business, engages the other wives for help as they all fear the news getting out and ruining their lives. As they all slowly untangle the truth Katherine and Christian become closer and must face the truths of their pasts in order to move on into the future. A very heartwarming read with past traumas coming back to haunt the two main characters. There were some spicy interludes, crossed wires, and an enemy trying to ruin everything but of course a happy ending is had. My review of Rogue Most Wanted

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own. A Rogue Most Wanted, by Janna MacGregor, is book 5 in the Cavensham Heiresses series.  Although part of a series, Rogue Most Wanted is perfectly fine as a stand-alone story.  Available June 25th in bookseller locations and on-line, I had the pleasure of an early peek.  Ms MacGregor has a way with characters that entices me to become invested.  I feel that my time was well spent traveling this journey with Will and Thea.   Lord William Cavensham is a second son.  His father, a Duke, is a father we all wish for, his mother is great too.  Lucky Will.  As the 2nd son he's spent years running the duchy's estates and holdings.  He's a great steward, very thoughtful.  When he was a young buck Will was hurt badly by his first love.  She dumped him for a title and $, ouch.  He closed off his heart and carried on with his lonely life.  One of my complaints is this books title.  Will is not a rogue, he's a nice guy, the marrying kind.  He begins to act roguish with Thea but heck, they're good together. Lady Theodora "Thea" Worth, is the new Countess of Eanruig.  It's an old Scottish title that can be passed to the next heir, even a girl.  Good luck pronouncing it, it's written out phonetically several times & I still can't do it.  Thea's much loved grandfather died and his title passed to a distant relative.  This guy wants it all, the dukedom, her title and lands too.  What an ass.  Thea refuses to marry him just to keep HER birthright.  Good girl.  She's scared and all alone but determined to hold on and do right by her employees and tenants.  Will is the nephew of her next door neighbor and they're thrown together in the legal fight for the earldom.  These 2 start out as friends helping each other and, gradually, it turns to lust and then love.  They can be hot, hot, hot, when left alone, anywhere.  Both Will and Thea have a strong sense of honor and duty.  It's a blessing and a curse, it makes the romance run a little bumpy.   My second and last problem is the Midnight Cryer, a gossip rag.  It's really, really mean.  BTW, Thea has the most fantastic folly of all time.  I'm green with envy.  Don't miss the few appearances by Lord Fluff, trust me.  Ms MacGregor gutted me with book 3, I cried from page 1 to the very ending.  Book 4 was a love fest between me and the hero (sigh).  Now I can't wait for book 6, Devon's story.  Hurry up, will you?  Happy reading.
