Products Of The Week - The Autumn Edit
Autumn Collections have launched so I thought I’d share just some of the cruelty free products that I’m loving and using in my kit at the moment -  tried and tested. Get ready for red lips, dewy hydrated skin and fun eye makeup. It’s that time of year : )
Jane Iredale Gwen Pure Moist Lipstick £19.95
Tumblr media
Yes! A red lipstick - aptly named Gwen that hydrates and doesn’t leave your mouth feeling tight. This is a true blue red and would be fantastic on fairer skin tones. Red is one of the most popular lip colours for September - December and if you’re looking for one that doesn’t dry you out - look no further :
Organic
Moringa butter saturate the lips with vitamins A & C
Coffee seed extract infuses lips with antioxidant protection
Orange peel wax, ultramoisturizing avocado and sunflower seed oils protect the delicate lip area
Jane Iredale Paris Just Kissed Me Lip Plumper £22
Tumblr media
Here is another Autumn toned lipstick (this ones plum) that keeps dry cracked lips away while looking gorgeous. Jane Iredale Lip Plumper in “Paris” is great for all skin tones and not so pigmented that you’d need to bring q- tips on a night out with you!
Tinted lip plumper with unique, time-released peptides designed to increase hydration
Shea Butter, Sunflower Oil and Avocado soften and hydrate
Essential Oils of Lemon and Tangerine assist to exfoliate dead skin cells
Burts Bees Gloss Lip Crayon Pacific Coast £9.99
Tumblr media
Burt's Bees in my opinion make some of THE best lip balms! Over the last few years they’ve slowly been adding colour to their brands amazing portfolio of products and I LOVE them. These chubby sticks are great for quick lips and I love to use this colour for a soft but winter lip :
Jojoba Oil, Kendi Oil, and Shea Butter to keep lips happy for a full eight hours.
 100% Natural
No added flavour or fragrance
Jane Iredale Clearly Pink Pure Pressed Blush £24
Tumblr media
I love this blusher! It’s subtle shimmer is really flattering on tired winter skin. It’s made as all Jane Iredale products are made, with pure minerals and no synthetic dyes or fragrances. I wore it in my Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial for Indy Lifestyle here - it works well in the day OR with stronger makeup.
Jane Iredale Naturally Glam Eyeshadow Kit  £44
Tumblr media
Organic makeup is something I’m getting more and more interested in and this Jane Iredale Palette is just beautiful. Complete with four warm toned shades and a highlighter I am adding this little kit to my Bridal Makeup collection. It’s great for givings a soft warm hue to eyes and would be fantastic for green or blue eyes due to the pigments in the palette being on this side of the spectrum .
BYBI Mega Mist £26
Tumblr media
Clean Beauty Co have been really busy launching all kinds of lovely skincare treats! One of the latest products to launch is this Mega Mist skin spritz which is both a toner and a hydrating spray. I’m a sucker for face sprays as I use them on EVERY single makeup job I work on so it’s great that this cruelty free natural brand is releasing products that are both versatile, smell amazing and completely natural. If you haven’t already heard of them GO CHECK THEM OUT www.cleanbeauty.com
As with all their products the ingredients are 100% natural  :
Hyaluronic Acid Plumps and Hydrates Skin
Vegan Friendly
Can be Spritzed on face and removed with a cotton pad or left to settle into skin and hydrate from within
Rose, orange blossom and pomegranate quench dry and sensitised skin for all day moisture
Barry M Bold Waterproof Eyeliner £3.99
Tumblr media
Not only are these liners super SUPER pigmented *LOVE* they are also super smooth and creamy to apply before they initially set and last 8 hours. Barry M you are WINNING with these! Incase you missed it have a look at my Smokey Eye Tutorial using Bold Gun Metal as a primer for an evening eye on Indy Lifestyle here.
Tumblr media
Above swatches of Gold, Bronze, Gun Metal, Black, Silver, White and Purple - as you can see they are very pigmented and they make great primers for eye makeup looks when blended out. It’s worth noting that not all beauty products that work have to be expensive. These retail at only £3.99 and in my opinion are a bargain!

Inikia BB Cream Foundation £27.50
Tumblr media
Finding the brand Inika was literally one of the best things for my makeup kit. The Australian brand are organic and cruelty free and the products are lush ! I have been slowly introducing them into my kit and I have to say the makeup feels weightless on your skin compared to some other brands. I’ve been using this BB Cream Foundation  and my skin FEELS so much better for it.
Prickly Pear, Pomegranate, Avocado and Jojoba Oils to moisturise and hydrate skin while providing coverage.
 Tightens pores
Essential fatty acids to help keep the collagen layer of your skin moist and healthy
If you’re looking for an organic foundation thats lightwight and great for your skin definily check this brand out!

Burts Bees Intense Hydration Eye Cream £19.99
Tumblr media
Eye cream is one of those products that not every one uses but if they did it would make such a difference to their skin routine. I always use an eye cream when prepping models skin for photoshoots or doing a bridal makeup / commercial shoots. This particular eye cream has Probiotic Technology which hydrates and reduces the appearance of fine lines. It’s also full of Clary Sage which is great for the delicate skin under the eye. I’d highly recommend it!
99% natural ingredients
Intensely hydrates dry skin
Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Absorbs quickly with non-greasy formula
Ophthalmologist Tested and Dermatologist Tested
Noncomedogenic (aka won't cause spots or clog your pores!)
Stay tuned next week as I’ll be sharing my tips on how to get the perfect dewy skin with Indy Lifestyle Online (on Facebook) at 1:00 Wednesday - autumn skin doesn’t need to be dry!
