here’s a not so short list of aus that aren’t on my ocs’ about pages since they’re underdeveloped:

maxell:

t.ma au- max is a former talk show host (like his human au) and a current avatar of the slaughter. he used to get into fights with angry fans of celebs he tore apart on his show, and after one of those fights went too far, he found himself with a corpse to get rid of and some new, very interesting powers.

bob:

t.ma au- bob is a former kids show host and a current avatar of the web. after his brother mysteriously dropped off the map (for the reasons above), bob entered a spiral (not that one) of despair, where he became obsessed with never losing anybody he was close to again. this made him a very easy target for the web, and now he’s an avatar. (him and max do meet back up again after he’s sent to break up a slaughter ritual- and now they’re working together, which is very concerning.)

maynard:

noir au- maynard... but in the 1920s! he may or may not still have the psychic powers, i haven’t decided yet.

ghost au- maynard was shot dead while working a case, but can’t seem to pass on for reasons he’s not really sure of. (the case wasn’t even that important to him- so why can’t he leave?)

alternate f.nv au- maynard is a detective who works the strip- and also a not-so secret psyker. this au was inspired by a tag on a starter @clonelyboy wrote (which i will get to soon, i promise!)

daniel:

older au- daniel has gone to therapy and has managed to get better! obviously he’s not perfect, but he’s got a better handle on his feelings now and more healthy ways to relieve stress. (this is the good/canon ending for daniel’s storyline... which i still haven’t written out -__-)

ghost au- daniel was murdered after discovering a body in a house he was going to burn down. dying has somehow made him even more anxious than he already was. (likewise, this is a possible bad ending for daniel’s main storyline)

post-prison au- daniel was caught by the police, and sentenced to a few years in jail for his crimes. prison was... not kind to daniel, and he’s a lot worse off than when he went in there.

powers au- daniel has pyrokinetic powers, and uses them... about how you’d expect him to. he has to keep them under wraps, of course, because when houses keep going up in flames, the guy with fire powers is the first person you look to.

band au- daniel is the bass player for a small but notable band! (maybe... yours?) he still deals with the stress of touring through arson, but on a much smaller and less dangerous scale.

t.ma au- daniel has been marked by the desolation. daniel is very uncomfortable with having been marked by the desolation.

dee:

human au- 19 year old dean richards works in a garage. he likes food, loud music, and taking the cars he’s supposed to be fixing out for joy rides at night- don’t tell anybody!

“jamie” au- the parents of the young man whose face dee is using find him, and assume (reasonably) that he is, in fact, their son. now dee has to try his best to play that role- which is a very awkward experience for him.

darby:

alive/modern au- darby is a normal human person living in the modern era. he probably has a different job, but i’m not sure what kind yet.

resurrection au- darby comes back from the dead for reasons unknown. he now has to find his place in a world that’s passed him by.

roleswap au- switches darby and lloyd’s roles. this darby, having been caught in a constant loop of his own death for a number of years, is much more high strung and miserable than he is in his main verse

powers au- darby being shot turns out to be the catalyst for him developing regenerative powers. darby is confused and concerned by these powers, and is trying to figure out exactly what this means about him.

salesman au- in a world where darby doesn’t end up meeting lloyd, the endless stretch of years ends up doing a number on his memory. slowly he forgets the details of his death, his former life- even his name- until he’s just a sort of embodiment of the door to door salesman. his lack of memory means he’s surprisingly content- but he can’t help but feel like something is missing from his life.
