show!Brienne just isn’t gay enough. it’s ridiculous. BUT I think I know what D&D are doing. now, hold onto your horses, because this is the undercover brienne theory.

so, y’all know how brienne is good and honest and loyal, right? that’s been like, her defining characteristics. it’s what inspires people like podrick and jaime to do better. well, i’m fucking sick of it. where’s the drama? the action? something is up, am i right? anyways, here’s what I think D&D are planning…

we know they’ve left a lot of season 7 material on the cutting room floor, like the jon and ghost scene and the scene where bran reveals petyr’s actions to sansa and arya. lots of stuff have happened off screen. you know what else has happened off screen? sansa and brienne making out. they’re in love, i can just tell, and i KNOW they’re dating. i just know it.

so jaime is on his way to reenter brienne’s life, after brienne inspired him to fuck loyalty and run away from home. he got a special outfit for it and everything. he is dressed to IMPRESS. so, he’s gonna ride on over to brienne, and brienne is going to flirt mercilessly with him. just like, totally get him to love her even more than he already does. so that’s when brienne extracts a promise from him– go back to king’s landing and legalize gay marriage. jaime is a little confused but he’s like sure, why not? they bang just to seal the deal and jaime rides on back to king’s landing, lies to cersei and told her he went soul searching in yi ti, and gets her to legalize gay marriages.

HERE COMES THE TWIST. brienne has been faking her feelings THE ENTIRE TIME. she didn’t even need to bang him, she just did it to prove she could! then she tells sansa the good news, and the two of them get married. undercover brienne and sansa stark are westeros’s first married same-sex couple. jaime cries himself to death because it’s about time he died honestly.

so what do you all think?

Okay, I feel the need to say this. As a fan of Jamie and Cersei and someone who loves house Lannister, I am so annoyed at all the Dany hate. I’m not even a fan of her, I do find her annoying at times but listen, she was not wrong to burn the lannister soldiers.

Now, they are in the middle of a war, of course Daenerys is going to be killing people, that’s what war is, it’s not a pretty sight. I mean, think of any battle in this series, people die, there’s no way around it. Whether she’s burning them or killing the with arrows and swords, there’s not way for her to win without slaughter, Cersei is not going down easily. Daenerys is trying her best, she listened to Jon and Tyrion, she didn’t burn down King’s Landing, but’s she’s fighting a war and she is loosing. She had to do something so attacking a smaller group of soldiers was meant to scare them, show them what she can do. Keep that in mind. 

Why was nobody crying over lannister soldiers during the battle in the Whispering Wood? You remember? When Robb Stark killed a bunch of lannister men during a war? Where was everybody hating on Robb then? I mean, he was doing the same damn thing just without fire.

What about the battle of the Blackwater Bay? Did you hate on Tyrion then? I mean, he was also doing the same thing but I’m pretty sure y’all were praising him. I mean, going by you’re logic, Jon should be getting hate too, how many men has he killed in battle? What about all those poor bolton soldiers that died in the batle of the bastards? 

Also, at the people hating on her for using her dragons in a battle because it’s unfair: she’s fighting a fucking war, what do you expect her to do? When you’re fighting people, you show them what you’ve got, you give them you’re best. As for burning down the food and resources, there was no way around that. They were not going to hand it over to her just like that, what did you want her to do? Go in the middle of the battle field and just push a couple of wagons to safety? Dany did what she had to do. She’s been listening to Tyrion, hiding behind on Dragonstone and look where that go her. She’s lost most of her allies because she’s not taking risks whilst Cersei is. Okay, there was no way she could’ve known about Euron showing up at Casterly Rock but my point still stands, that whilst Dany is sitting there doing nothing (because that’s what she’s being told to do) Cersei is over here making allies and winning battles.

I love Cersei, she’s one of the favourites. She’s also one of the most interesting and complex characters, plus Lena is an amazing actress, but calling Dany the ‘mad queen’ for buring soldiers in a battle, whilst Cersei did the exact same thing only it was for pure revenge.. like what? How can you justify one and spit all over the other?

At this this point, Dany will get hate no matter what, and I hate that. I mean, she sits at Dragonstone and does nothing: she’s boring as fuck; she goes into battle and wins: she’s the mad queen. What do you want her to do? Go into a battle and loose? That’s not how war works people.

Oh and for the people saying that Dany is nothing without her dragons: The dragons are not something she randomly came across, they are a part of her, they are her children, it’s like saying what is Bran without being the three eyed raven. It’s not something he did because he was bored like tf

I guess to summarize, I love house Lanniser, I would die for Cersei and Jaime because they are two of my favourite charcters, but all this hate on Daenerys is competely pointless.

Mini Rant

Not even really a rant it's just Every Brienne of Tarth/Gwendoline Christie fan blog that I follow Almost all of them ship Brienne with Jamie And so that means they all post a shit ton of pictures of Jamie Lanniser and his actor Nikolaj whatever his name is He's not unattractive But like He's one of those "flavor of the month" white guys Boring and looks like everyone else So all these blogs are constantly spamming my dash with his face And I'm like Eh It's kind of getting annoying at this point And I don't like Jamie Lanniser, I especially don't like the Jamie X Brienne ship Mostly because he raped his sister on the tomb of their dead son (yeah like incest produced son) that literally died a few hours before Like wtf I don't get why people like him so much I know that he and his sister "love" each other but in that particular instance he raped her because she kept telling him no and he did it anyway And I'm not saying that if he ever put Brienne in that situation she wouldn't just fucking cut him in half (because she is very capable of taking care of herself) But at the same time Eh She's extremely bound by honor and equality and she was almost once raped herself so I really don't see why people ship that It's toxic Plus he's literally called her ugly to her face like 3 times So Anyway his actor tho Is a nice man, I'm sure. He and Gwen are good friends and all but I'm getting real tired of seeing his face on my dash lol

I was tagged by @violet-eyes-silver-hair for my Top 10 GoT characters... this was hard but I'm begrudgingly doing it.

1. Daenerys Targaryen - Hers has been my favourite storyline since season 1. She's the most interesting & well fleshed out character with a backstory so strong it was easy to identify the writers worked the most on her character building. Her fantasy hero's mystical journey is one of a kind, never seen before for a female character. I have pledged myself to Queen Daenerys of House Targaryen for a while now because she’s the only leader in this world with success stories on her resume, philanthropic accomplishments, experience at governance at a large scale, inspires loyalty, constantly tries to improve and commands armies like no one can dream of & actually has a vision - that too a socialist vision for the future. Her journey on GoT is powerful, beautiful, fantastic, magical, awe inspiring and unparalleled beyond measure. 

2. Oberyn Martell - I just love this man! I have a massive crush on Dany since the beginning but Oberyn is hands down my greatest male crush on the show. Travelled all over the world, jack of all trades master of some, badass fighter, freaky lover and so damn hot. Also Oberyn x Ellaria were such goals, when will I find my orgy loving bisexual prince to travel the world with? I miss that guy like I miss no other dead character, I wish there was more of him in the story. I started watching Narcos purely for Pedro Pascal! 

3. Jon Snow : Though I prefer Book!Jon over Show!Jon. I find his POV chapters most relatable and got invested right from the start. My love for him on the show was a slow burn, I really got invested in season 4 and his fight scenes on the show are totally awesome. His death was the second most pivotal point after Ned’s death and like Ned’s death gave the show it’s pessimistic turn, I think Jon’s resurrection steered GoT in an optimistic direction. He’s the only man alive in Westeros worth rooting for, he has a good heart, I really like him for Dany and most importantly, he knows where to put it! Sometimes I miss Lord Commander Jon Snow though, I liked that part of him the most and I wish there was more of Ghost, ranger missions action & brilliant/cunning Lord Commander stuff from the books on the show as well. 

4.  Arya Stark - She was the cutest baby ever when I started watching the show, I seriously wanted to adopt her! I loved her sibling dynamic with Jon & her attempts at training Nymeria. Years later, she’s a badass assassin with the most real, raw, dark and grounded hero’s journey which is the only one that showcases the cost of war to the common people of this world. Somewhere along the road her puppy love with Gendry tugged at my heartstrings and now my baby is back home! I’m going to cry so hard when he reunites with Jon & Gendry next season.

5. Drogon - He is an unbelievably well developed character for a fire puppy with no dialogue. We met him as an egg, saw him grow up when he was too tiny to even roast a small chunk of meat, watched him run away from home to travel the world during his teenage rebellion phase and he’s all grown up now, fucking up Lannisters & zombies. I love my son! 

6. Cersei Lannister - She is hands down the best, most layered and well written villain in this the series. Her sarcasm & fashion sense is on point and it’s easy to understand why she turned into such a bitter person. Plus she really proved herself as a Queen in S07, despite the expectations. If you tell me how horrible she is, I would probably agree with everything you have to say but I love her like I hate her and because she is just so damn bad in the best possible way...

7. Tyrion  Lannister - At one point he used to be my favourite after Dany. He was so damn relatable: a lustfilled wine loving bookworm with an abusive rich conservative father and a dysfunctional family with nothing to offer but discrimination for an external characteristic? Story of my life! Plus he’s just so damn funny. But I only loved Tyrion’s storyline only until end of season 5. It’s weird & funny that once the show diverged from the books, all the intelligent characters like Littlefinger, Varys & Tyrion suddenly got dumber and lost their charms, wits & skills. 

8. Ned Stark -  We all thought he was the hero of the show in season 1 and his death was that iconic defining moment for the series. His death & the hatching of Dany’s dragons are the two scenes which got me hooked to the series. That honourable & stoic brooding Northener with all his untold secrets will always have that special place in my heart! He was the only male character I let myself get attached to without really knowing the character death situation on the show. I don’t think I let myself get that vulnerable for any GoT character other than Dany because end of season 1, I had my walls up. 

9. Jamie Lannister - He took redemption arcs to the next level, someone who attempted to kill a cute child so casually and raped his twin sister next to the dead body of their child ended up becoming the hero that the fandom not only roots for, sympathises and likes but also ships with someone as good as Brienne, but he is a candidate for Azor Ahai theories as well now. Jamie’s journey is just so unbelievably interesting, I can’t remember the last time I took such a 180 degree turn on my opinion of a character. 

10. Joffery Baratheon - I like to think of myself as someone who either enjoys characters/stories or stays indifferent. At max, I have felt mildly annoyed at characters I don’t like but for the first time in my life a fictional character stirred such visceral hatred in me, that I rooted for and celebrated his death?? Sometimes I genuinely can’t believe what a strong emotional response Joffery drew from me and how the hell did this show manage to completely bypass all of my rationality as a viewer.

I get only ten but screw it, I love Olenna Tyrell & Renley Baratheon to bits and I miss them dearly.  I’m tagging @geekyfeminist-love, @trinijanjan, @ktwrites, @gldngrl7
