When the couscous be dropping, you know it's (mo)roccan! Today's our last day in #paris and it's so bittersweet; we have loved everything about this city from the delicious food to the cheap and incredible wine to the beautiful architecture and bodega cats 🐱😂 We had to do #paris right on our last day (and break up all that heavy food and cafe lounging). We started with the best #Moroccan food we ever ever had, #beef #tangine and a #couscous royale (with kabobs and sausage ) from #lepetitbleu in #monmarte where shit was literally dropping because we were eating on the angle of the hill of Montmartre 😂 We also indulged in a market version of the #jambonbuerre (ham and cheese sandwich) with the insanely packed version from @chezalainmiammiam at the @marchedesinfantesrouge in the 3rd. It was an hour plus in line but so worth it; don't be intimated by the chef- when you see the amount of #cheese he puts on with your #jambonblanc you know he's a good guy 😂 Finally, we told our friends over at #wegowalkingtours that we needed to have an #offal feast before we left #Paris and they sent us to @amarante_restaurant in the 12th; we indulged in #foiegras, #veal #brains, #duck, and #sweetbreads cooked simply and perfectly (75% butter by our estimate) and huge portions. It was the best meal we had in #paris. I'm so in love with this place, but tomorrow is a new day and we are on to my favorite country, Spain!
