サンプリング・カットアップ、リミックスの達人Qwaqaが作ったポニョも出てくるPencilHeadというストップモーションアニメ。

馬の頭の数字は何だろう？ポニョも出てきます。エッシャーも出てきます。オタマジャクシも出てきます。精子と卵子の結合も出てきます。金正日＋毛沢東も出てきます。

全編モノトーンの映像が良い感じのストップモーションアニメです。しかもこの作者は描画のタッチが実に多才です。音楽も最高！すべてが格好いいです。相当 日本のアニメを見ているはずの作者Qwaqaの作品です。...

- ジャパニメーション満載のなかなか凝ったリミックス作品だ。随所にパプリカのキャラクターが出てきたり、その世界観に荒唐無稽だが筋の通ったメッセージ性を感じたりと、印象深い仕上がりになっていると思う。サウンドリミックスもセンスいいが、アニメーションの少々偏った好みが、この作品の「色」を決定付けている気がする。馬の頭の数字って、ロトスコープのアレだよね？ (via デザインの深読み)

based on a real dream i had the other day, where i got to throw down with Bad!Eclipse and Blood Moon from The Sun And Moon Show

they were both going after Lunar and Earth, and I managed to get in between

in the dream, it was a lot sillier (i think i even waltzed with Eclipse while comparing him to a skunk)

this is how it felt

shenanigans, as they are want to do, ensued

meanwhile i just love the fact for most of the years, Zalla made her outfits functional in some reguard as things that could do silly or cool things and special effects
