-Jam was excited when she learned you were a martial artist. She wanted someone to practice with, not to mention sharing techniques would be fun to her. So, she challenged you eagerly. But, when you threw the first hit, she immediately noticed your stand was off. Okay, maybe you were nervous.

-But then the battle carried on. She didn't want to say anything, as your skills were awful compared to her. You didn't manage to land even a single hit, when she strikes back. -Jam is incredibly enthusiastic about cooking, and she takes on the role of teacher with pride. She’s always eager to share her knowledge, but expect a lot of fast-paced instructions—she’s used to cooking at a rapid pace.

- Jam believes the best way to learn is by doing, so she’ll have you chopping, mixing, and stirring alongside her. Don’t be surprised if she steps in to guide your hands if you’re not doing it her way.

- She has a very keen sense of taste, so expect her to tweak your dish until it’s perfect. She’s particular about spices, adding just the right amount of heat to every dish.

- Despite her skills, Jam tends to make a mess when she cooks. There will be flour, spices, and sauce flying everywhere. It may get on you as well but don’t worry, she’s got it all under control, and the final dish always turns out amazing.

- She’s constantly tasting and adjusting. She’ll make you taste everything too, asking for feedback, but don’t be surprised if she doesn’t take no for an answer when she says it needs “just a little more spice!”

She couldn't believe how bad you were at cooking. She was more amazed you had survived this far into your life, without knowing how to cook. She decided it was smart to not let you cook, without supervision at least.

-Whenever you wanted to help in the kitchen, let it be at her restaurant or at home, she would refuse. Just telling you, she got it. Her restaurant had been destroyed enough times in her mind. She didn't want to add your cooking disaster to the list. She did cook for you, both because she liked to cook and to keep you out of it. She tried to teach you to cook a couple times, but on both times you managed to somehow burn the food.

Plenty of your time together is spend in the kitchen or getting new ingredients with her. She loves cooking and you, so she will combine the two, by having you cook with her.

-She will absolutely melt, if you cooked for her. No matter how good or the awful, the food is she will find something to improve on it. She wants you to be just as good of a cook as she is. So, that means getting some notes, even if it was a sweet thought. The dinner you cooked was lovely though.

-The times, you aren't cooking she will be practicing her ki or her counting the costs and losses of her business. So, this means you will have to drag her out of work-mode. Away from her restaurant, to walk around the town, doing whatever pops into your mind.

-You have daily teatimes with her, she makes her own blends of tea, so you're in surprise for whatever the taste will be. Sometimes its bitter, at time sweet, sometimes a combination of both.

Headcanons for Jam, here it is!

-Your relationship with Jam started under... Interesting circumstances. Jam was just on another bounty hunting mission, which you were on as well. Before, you could say a word, she had already jumped into combat with you.

-You didn’t have any other choice than to stall the fight as long as you could. Eventually, you both ran out of breath panting for air. You sat down on the ground as she followed the suit. She decided to break the awkwardness between you two.

“So, you a bounty hunter?”

“Just starting, my first assignment.. Not going too well.” She took out some dumplings for you to eat.

“Do you want some?” You took one without a word. It was simply delicious.

-After that you two formed a pair. A bounty hunting one. But, it didn’t take long for your relationship to evolve into a romantic one. You two didn’t officially start dating, until someone asked if you two were dating. That made the gears turn on both of your heads. And, you two rolled with it. You were already acting like one, so might as well try it.

-She is somewhat clingy with you. Whenever she isn’t cooking or practicing her Ki, she is usually linking her arm with yours, or in your general vicinity. She just can’t bear the thought of being far off from you.

-She likes to showcase her Ki abilities to you. Just trying out the various colors and shapes she can do with it is enough for you to be completely mesmerized by it.

-She will teach you how to cook. No buts! Even if you don’t really know or want to, she will persuade you into learning how to cook. She is patient with you, even if a bit overbearing with it.

“Good, good. Now, add sauce.”

“Yes, Jam. I’ll do it.”

“Remember, just a spoonful. Taste varies so much, if you add even a little bit too much.”

-Once, she gets her restaurant up and running again (hopefully, not getting destroyed in the future.) you will be helping around it. Taking orders from clients, cooking meals in the kitchen and cleaning up the place. You’ll be spending plenty of time in the restaurant, but Jam makes it up with snacks and quality time for you.

-She will easily overworked herself, so this means you will have to drag her away from the work. Most, likely after the restaurant has closed down, because you most likely will be too busy as well. But, when you do manage to drag her away from the work, you two go on walks around the neighborhood. Nothing like taking a walk away from work. Literally.

-She will bring snacks, no matter where you go. (Self made of course.) Every time it's a little bit different, she tries different ingredients, and she cooks a little bit longer. She likes to experiment when it comes to foods. You are, reliant her taste tester.

“Too much salt. Otherwise, pretty good.”

“Noted. Now, for the next meal!”

-You two have evening tea times, everyday. With oolong tea and self-made sachima. She doesn’t know a better way to end her day, but your presence just makes it a little bit better.
