కొండపోచమ్మసాగర్‌కు ఉండవల్లిని పిలిస్తే బాగుండేది!
2013 జనవరి, రాజమండ్రిలో "జై ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్" పేరుతో అప్పటి కాంగ్రెస్ ఎంపీ ఉండవల్లి అరుణ్‌కుమార్ ఒక సమైఖ్య ఉద్యమ సభ పెట్టాడు. తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం బూటకమని, ఉద్యమకారులు (ముఖ్యంగా కేసీఆర్) చెప్పేవన్నీ అబద్ధాలనీ ఆ బహిరంగ సభలో ఒక ప్రెజంటేషన్ కూడా ఇచ్చాడు. తెలంగాణలో గోదావరి గురించి, నీళ్ల గురించి చేసిన ఎగతాళి ఇంకా మర్చిపోలేదు. అతనేమన్నాడంటే... "మనదగ్గర పచ్చగా ఉంటుంది. తెలంగాణలో రాళ్లూ రప్పలూ ఉంటాయి. మా నీళ్లు దోచుకుంటున్నారని అనడం ఎందుకు. పైన నీళ్లు ఆపి వాడుకోవచ్చు కదండీ? ఆరు అంతస్థుల అపార్ట్‌మెంటులో పైన్ ఫ్లాట్‌లో ఉండేవాడికి నీళ్లు రాకపోతే, కింద ఫస్ట్ ఫ్లోర్‌లో వాడు ఏం చేస్తాడు. నిజం దేవుడెరుగు, నీరు పల్లమెరుగు. మీ జిల్లాలన్నీ ఎత్తులో ఉన్నాయి. కింద నుంచి తోడుకుంటేనే నీళ్లొస్తాయి. తెలంగాణ నేతలు కట్టుకథలు ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు......."" ఇంకా చాలా మాటలన్నాడు. రెండుగంటల పాటు ఉండవల్లి అరుణ్‌కుమార్ మాట్లాడిన మాటల్లో తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం మీద, నీళ్ల మీద ఆకాంక్షల మీదా ఎంత దుష్ప్రచారం చెయ్యాలో అంతా చేశాడు. ఇవాళ తెలంగాణ తన సాగునీటి చరిత్రలో ఒక సువర్ణ అధ్యాయాన్ని రాసుకుంటున్న సమయంలో అప్పటి నీటి కుట్రలు, మన నాయకత్వం మీద చూపించిన చులకన భావం అన్నీ గుర్తొస్తున్నాయి. గోదవరి నీటిని తెలంగాణ బీడు భూములకు మళ్లించే కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులో ముఖ్యమైన కొండపోచమ్మ సాగర్ ప్రారంభోత్సవానికి ఉండవల్లి అరుణ్‌కుమార్ లాంటి వాళ్లను పిలిచి చూపిస్తే బాగుండేది!
