Samoa
The roar of the ocean echoed like a war drum across the Samoan cliffs as the black military transport jet touched down on the cleared dirt strip. As the blades slowed, dust rose into the sky like a curtain being drawn on an old stage, revealing figures forged from metal, muscle, and memory.
Veda stepped out first, wind tugging at her hair, boots crunching over volcanic soil. Her gaze scanned the horizon.
Behind her, Luke followed. Towering and silent, Samoa was still etched into his bones. And beside them came Dominic and his crew, their engines silent for once, their loyalty loud in their presence. But it wasn’t Dominic’s crew that concerned Luke today.
It was his family.
They came here not to seek peace, but power and to gather strength in numbers to save the one thing they couldn’t afford to lose: Samantha. Their daughter. Kidnapped. Gone for nearly two weeks. Every hour chipped away at Veda’s sanity. Every second turned her into a sharper weapon.
The compound loomed on the edge of the jungle. It wasn’t a house; it was a monument to resilience, sweat, and scars. Hobbs Customs, a place rebuilt from betrayal and estrangement. The workshop smelled of engine grease, old steel, and island flowers.
And there, like sentinels of the past, stood the eight Hobbs brothers: Jonah, Mateo, Kal, Timo, Enele, Enoka, Laki, and Fetu.
Their eyes tracked the newcomers like hawks.
Jonah stood front and center, arms like tree trunks, face carved with bitterness. His stare locked onto Luke.
“You really brought her here?” he said without breaking eye contact.
“Didn't come for you,” Veda snapped before Luke could answer. “Came for my daughter.”
The air thickened.
Then Lisa stepped forward. She was Luke’s only sister, hair braided back, expression unreadable. Veda’s eyes narrowed the second she saw her.
“You mean the daughter you ran from,” Lisa said, voice low and dangerous.
In a flash, Veda moved. The first punch cracked like thunder across Lisa’s jaw. Lisa barely staggered before responding with a knee to the ribs. They collided like storms, so wild and merciless. Kicks, strikes, raw emotion. The ground beneath them exploded in red dust as they slammed into it, wrestling with more than fists with years of blame.
Luke didn’t move. His arms were crossed over his chest, face unreadable. He wasn’t letting them fight for sport, he was letting them burn it out. Dominic took a cautious step forward.
“Should we—?”
“No,” Luke said. “Let it happen. They need it.”
The brothers stood in a silent ring, watching without flinching. Mateo winced as Veda landed a knee to Lisa’s stomach. Kal muttered something in Samoan. Auli'i, Lanuola, Tiasa, Chey, Gabby, and Tisha emerged from the house, standing at the porch with folded arms.
Then the voice of authority rang out, sharp as ever.
“Enough!”
Sefina Hobbs. The matriarch. Time hadn’t shrunk her, only made her more powerful. With silver in her hair and fire in her eyes, she stepped into the circle. The sisters froze. Breathing heavy, blood on knuckles, fire still burning.
Sefina looked at them both.
“This house holds enough ghosts. Don’t add more.”
Lisa wiped her lip. Veda stood straighter, defiant.
Then Luke spoke. “Samantha’s been taken.”
Dead silence.
“Dante Reyes,” he added. “Son of Hernan Reyes. He wants revenge. He took Sam.”
Mateo shook his head slowly. “How long?”
“Two weeks.”
“You waited two weeks to come here?”
“I had to find the trail first.”
Sefina’s gaze pierced Luke like a blade. “What’s the plan?”
Luke turned to Veda, and together they stepped forward.
“We need all of you,” Veda said. “Dante won’t see it coming if it’s family.”
“Why should we help you?” Jonah asked. “You walked away from our brother and your daughter.”
“I did what I had to do to keep them alive,” Veda said.
It was silent after that moment.
Sefina took a step forward. “What’s the plan,” she asked.
Later, the garage turned war room. Tables were cleared, maps spread out. Dominic and his crew worked alongside the Hobbs brothers, who were still wary but cooperative. Old tools became weapons. Outdated trucks were modified for war.
Hobbs Customs became a fortress.
As they worked, dynamics shifted.
Kal taught Roman how to use a traditional Samoan war club. Timo and Letty argued over engine timing. Tej bonded with Fetu over electrical wiring. Amid it all, Veda remained a shadow of constant, quiet, and deadly.
That night, while the others shared laughs around the fire, she sat inside. The living room was dimly lit, filled with the scent of burnt wood and coconut oil. Her eyes landed on a photo on the shelf.
A black-and-white frame. She moved closer.
It was her and Luke walking down the aisle, barefoot on the sand, his hand in hers, both smiling.
She hadn’t seen that photo in years.
Gabby entered quietly with a mug of tea.
“Sam brought it when she visited,” she said, offering the mug.
“I didn’t know he kept it,” Veda whispered.
“He never stopped loving you.”
“I’m not here for love,” Veda replied. “I’m here for my daughter.”
Gabby sat beside her. “You sure about that?”
Veda didn’t answer.
The next day, the plan went into motion.
Jonah led the garage conversion. Mateo and Ramsey coordinated the tech. Dominic brought out hidden weapons. Together, they mapped Dante’s compound, an offshore fortress surrounded by motion sensors and mercs.
Enele and Enoka handled water routes. Kal and Timo coordinated diversions. Veda trained alone in the courtyard, blades slicing air. Her fury had focus now.
Sefina watched her from the shadows. “You’re strong,” she said.
Veda didn’t stop moving. “Not strong enough.”
“You’re not alone.”
Veda paused, blade at her side.
Sefina stepped forward. “I know pain when I see it. But you can’t save her with anger.”
“I have nothing else left.”
“You have us.”
The Burgos Family
* Pascacio Burgos - Patriarch
* Adriana Barraza as Lola Burgos - Matriarch
* Simone Kessell as Kailani Laguatan-Burgos - Veda and Cereza’s Mother
* Sylvester Stallone as Victor Burgos - Veda and Cereza’s Father
* Veda Burgos-Hobbs
* Luke Hobbs - Veda’s Husband
* Samantha Hobbs - Veda's Daughter
* Vanessa Hudgens as Cereza Burgos-Toretto
* Jakob Toretto - Cereza’s Husband
The ocean whispered in the distance, rhythmic waves brushing against the shores of Samoa like a steady heartbeat. The tropical sun cast a golden glow over the land, but Veda barely noticed. Her mind was far from the postcard-perfect beauty around her. While others marveled at the cascading waterfalls, the lush jungles, and the hum of island life, she was burdened with something heavier, an ache in her chest that no scenery could mend. Watching Luke laugh with his brothers, his family thick around him like armor, only deepened that ache. It reminded her of what she never truly had, a family, not in the sense of blood alone, but presence. Reliability. Love that stayed.
Veda’s family had always been like smoke. There one moment, gone the next. Disappearing without explanation, sometimes for years. Her mother would vanish with only a scribbled note left behind. Her father would surface when it suited him. Her sister, Cereza, had been the one exception, a flickering beacon in a sea of unpredictability. Even if she moved often, Cereza always let Veda know where she was.
And now, by some strange twist of fate or divine alignment, Cereza was in Samoa.
Veda didn’t tell anyone where she was going. She didn’t owe them that, not when her instincts screamed louder than reason. She slipped away from the Hobbs family compound under the cloak of midmorning silence, her boots crunching on gravel, heart thrumming like a drumbeat. The road stretched on, winding through palms and wildflowers, until finally, nestled between two flowering flame trees, she found the modest white house her sister called home.
The front door creaked open, and there she was. Cereza. Always effortlessly beautiful, skin glowing, smile sharp and amused. She leaned against the doorframe like she’d been waiting.
“Well, well,” she drawled. “Why are you here in Samoa?”
Veda stood stiffly, unsure of what to say. “Sam got kidnapped. We came to get help from Luke’s family.”
“We?” Cereza asked, eyebrow raised.
“Dom and his crew are helping us.”
A beat of silence passed. Then a slow, knowing smile crept across Cereza’s face. “Really? Then I guess that means you’re here to ask for my help.”
“If you want to,” Veda said, shrugging. She masked her emotions like a well-trained soldier. But her voice betrayed a sliver of hope.
“Of course, I do. She’s my niece.”
The screen door creaked again, and out stepped Kailani, their mother, elegant as ever in a flowing robe of Samoan print. Behind her, their father Victor emerged—tall, imposing, silent. Even their grandparents, Lola and Pascacio, stood on the porch, faces weathered but eyes sharp.
“My granddaughter has been kidnapped,” Kailani said flatly.
Veda’s breath caught. Her throat tightened with something she couldn’t name. Bitterness? Regret? Hurt, definitely. Her family, her disappearing act of a family was here. Together. Without her. And yet, they looked at her as if no time had passed.
“Yeah,” Veda murmured. The word dropped like a pebble into the silence. She fought to keep her face neutral.
Victor clapped his hands once. “Let’s get to work.”
They piled into two cars and followed Veda back to the Hobbs home. Gravel crunched beneath tires, sunlight shimmering across windshields. When they arrived, Luke was already rushing out the front door, his face a storm of worry and anger.
“You can’t just leave without telling anyone where you’re going,” he snapped, voice raised, eyes locked on Veda.
Veda stared at him blankly as her family exited the vehicles. Before she could speak, Victor stepped forward, eyes narrowing.
“Boy, if you don’t get out of her face, I’ll put you on your ass.”
Luke blinked, stunned into silence.
“I went to get my family,” Veda said as she brushed past him. “The more, the merrier.”
Cereza sauntered up beside Luke, smiling like mischief personified. “Hey, brother-in-law,” she said, planting a kiss on his cheek.
Victor’s eyes lingered on Luke with warning as he followed his daughters inside.
“I told you, you should have never married him,” Victor muttered to Veda.
Dom, standing nearby, glanced at Luke with curiosity. “Is her family like her?”
Luke sighed. “Worse.”
Inside, maps were spread, plans drawn, and alliances formed. The name on everyone’s lips was Samantha. No one would rest until she was safe.
“So where are we headed?” Cereza asked, eyes alight with the thrill of action.
“Sardinia,” Veda answered.
Later that afternoon, the buzz of planning dulled, Veda found her sister in the courtyard, staring at someone across the way. Her gaze was fixed, soft, haunted.
“Why are you staring at him?” Veda asked.
“That’s Jakob’s older brother,” Cereza whispered.
Veda’s breath hitched. “Your Jakob?”
“Yeah. You know I haven’t seen him in two months.”
Before Veda could respond, Roman, oblivious as ever, walked over and opened his mouth.
“Yeah, Jakob went out like a hero. Took out a whole crew of mercs so Dom could rescue Little B.”
The air thickened. Cereza’s eyes widened. Her knees buckled, and Veda caught her just in time.
“What?” Roman said, confused by the sudden shift. “What’d I say?”
“Keep it together,” Veda whispered fiercely, carrying her sister inside. The walls of the bedroom muffled the cries that followed.
“He’s dead,” Cereza said between sobs. Her voice was hoarse. “He’s gone. And I wasn’t even there.”
“I’m so sorry,” Veda said, holding her sister tightly.
Cereza’s tear-streaked face hardened with resolve. “Dante is dead when we catch him.”
“Of course,” Veda whispered. “We’ll end him together.”
Outside, Roman awkwardly filled in Dom on the scene he had accidentally triggered. Ramsey, curious, pulled out her laptop and did some digging. A few keystrokes later, she froze.
“I found something,” she said. “There’s a marriage certificate. Jakob and Cereza... they were married.”
Dom’s heart dropped. Letty put a hand on his shoulder.
“Talk to her,” she urged.
But Cereza was already asleep, drained. Veda stepped out and found Dom in the hallway.
“Stay away until she’s ready to speak to you,” she told him gently.
“Did you know?” Dom asked.
“About them? Yes. About you and Jakob being brothers? No.”
Dom nodded, the weight of the new revelation settling on his shoulders.
Their quiet was broken by Luke stepping in, tension lingering on his features.
“We need to talk,” he said to Veda.
“What? You want to accuse me of running away again?”
Luke sighed. “Don’t start that shit, Veda. I just want to talk.”
Dom raised his hands and walked away. “Love.”
“What do you want to talk about, husband?” Veda asked, voice cool.
“Well, wife,” Luke said, his sarcasm matching hers. “What’s your plan after we rescue our daughter? Are you sticking around?”
Veda paused. The question was simple. But the answer wasn’t.
“I don’t think that’s wise,” she said finally.
Luke didn’t respond at first. He just stared at her, his jaw clenched, the lines of worry across his forehead deepening. Veda’s answer, soft as it was, hit him like a punch to the gut. She had always been the wild one, the runner, the one who never unpacked her bags no matter how long she stayed. And yet, he had hoped. Hoped that having a daughter, a family, might change her. Ground her.
But there she was. Veda, still impossible to pin down, still looking for exits even when the door was wide open.
“Why?” he finally asked.
Veda looked past him, toward the window where the orange light of sunset was beginning to spill across the floor. She didn’t want to answer, but the silence demanded it.
“Because I don’t trust myself to stay,” she said. “Every time I’ve tried... something breaks. Or I break it.”
Luke stepped closer. “We have a daughter, Veda. That’s not something you just walk away from.”
“I know,” she whispered, and that whisper was more painful than a scream. “But I need to find the part of me that won’t run. Right now, she’s gone.”
Luke looked away, trying to temper the storm inside him. He wanted to grab her and shake her into sense. But more than that, he wanted her to choose them on her own, not out of guilt, not out of fear. Out of love.
“We’ll talk later,” he said, his voice low, strained.
Veda nodded. They both knew later might never come.
Back in the common room, the team was finalizing details. The rescue mission for Samantha was their shared focus, a goal that burned bright and unwavering.
Cereza had woken and was seated at the long table, eyes swollen but expression hard. Her grief had not dulled her fire, it had refined it. When she spoke, her words were sharp, decisive.
“We hit them fast and clean,” she said. “In and out. No warning. No chances for them to move her.”
Victor looked at her with something close to pride. Kailani sat silently, hands folded, while Lola and Pascacio whispered prayers in the corner.
Ramsey stood at her computer, screens casting a cool blue light on her face. “I’ve got coordinates. Dante’s operation is buried in an old fortress off the coast of Sardinia. He’s fortified, but not impenetrable.”
Dom crossed his arms, leaning forward. “Then we hit tonight.”
“No,” Cereza said. “We leave tonight. We hit at sunrise. Maximum light, better visibility. We take our advantage and amplify it.”
Dom nodded slowly. It was clear now why Jakob had loved her.
Veda placed a hand on Cereza’s shoulder. “You sure you’re ready for this?”
Cereza didn’t flinch. “This isn’t about being ready. This is about doing what has to be done.”
Veda watched her sister, a pang of admiration mixed with sorrow stirring in her chest. They had both been forged in chaos, but Cereza had found something, someone to anchor her. And now, that someone was gone.
Later that night, Veda sat alone on the back porch, staring out into the darkened jungle. The hum of crickets filled the silence. Her thoughts wandered back to childhood, to the rare moments of laughter with Cereza, to the nights they held hands under the covers during thunderstorms, whispering secrets like promises.
She heard footsteps behind her and didn’t have to turn to know who it was.
“You don’t sleep much, do you?” Dom asked, settling into the chair beside her.
Veda smirked faintly. “Neither do you.”
He chuckled, nodding. “Too much noise in my head.”
“Same.”
They sat in silence for a moment, the peace between them easy, unspoken. Veda turned to him.
“She really loved him.”
Dom nodded slowly. “He was a good man. Complicated... but good.”
“She lost a part of herself today.”
“She’s strong,” Dom said. “She’ll survive.”
Veda looked down at her hands, laced her fingers. “We’ve all lost something, haven’t we?”
“Yeah,” Dom said softly. “But we fight to hold on to what’s left.”

Fast and Furious 9 Thoughts
Is there even a Fast and Furious Fandom here? idk but I just finished watching Fast 9 and need to ramble a bit.
I really enjoyed it! More than I thought I would. I kinda started to loose interest in the francise around the 7th movie and already from the trailer for Fast 9, I thought the long lost brother we never had heard of before angle sounded so ridiculous. I know these movies are ridiculous in genaral, but you know, I can suspend my disbelive for a lot of the shit they pull, if it makes for a fun movie. But as ridiculous as the existence of Jacob Toretto is, they reall pulled on my heartstrings with all the flashbacks. It was so cool to actually see Dom's backstory that we knew from the very first movie! All the cameos and callbacks were really fun <3 They actually went to space!
And of course I am overjoyed to get my boy Han back! Does it really make sense? No, not really. But I'll take it anyway. I love him. I don't care XD And I love the scene were Han reunites with the others. I was worried they would brush past this and not really give it the emotional weight it deserves. But I am happy with how they did it. He got a proper tight hug from Tej and most important Dom. It really felt like a meaningfull reunion after they all thought he was fucking dead. And he got to reunite with Shawn and the others too!

Fast & Furious presents The Mother: Family runs deep. Vengeance runs deeper.
Part One
The Call
The shrill ring of the phone sliced through the quiet of the night, its sound jarring and insistent. Veda Burgos, former U.S. Army operative turned private contractor, sat upright in her bed, the sheets tangled around her legs. The room was dimly lit by the soft glow of a bedside lamp, casting long shadows on the walls. She reached for the phone with a practiced calm, her fingers brushing against the cool metal before lifting it to her ear.
"Veda," the voice on the other end was low, gravelly, and unmistakable.
"Luke," she replied, her voice steady despite the rush of emotions the mere sound of his name stirred within her. "It's been a while."
"Too long," he agreed. There was a pause, a hesitation that spoke volumes. "I need your help."
Her heart skipped a beat. "What happened?"
"Samantha's been taken," he said, the words heavy with urgency. "By Dante Reyes."
The name hit her like a physical blow. Dante Reyes, the son of Hernan Reyes, the criminal mastermind whose empire had once threatened to engulf them all. She had crossed paths with Dante before, during a mission that had nearly cost her everything. She had thought him dead, a casualty of their last encounter. But now, he was back, and he had their daughter.
"Where is she?" Veda's voice was sharp, her mind already shifting into mission mode.
"Cap-Haitien, Haiti," Luke replied. "I have a team ready, but I need you to lead it. You're the only one who knows how he thinks."
Veda closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. The weight of the situation settled over her like a cloak. She had left that life behind, the life of danger and constant peril. But family, her daughter was a line she would never cross. She had trained for this, lived for this. And now, she would return to it.
"I'm in," she said, her voice unwavering.
Veda clenched her jaw, her voice calm but steel-laced. “Send me the coordinates. I’m coming.”
The next few hours were a blur of activity. Veda moved through her home with precision, gathering gear, reviewing intel, and contacting old allies. She hadn't anticipated returning to the field, but the urgency of the situation left no room for hesitation.
Her home, once a sanctuary, now felt like a staging ground. Maps of Haiti were spread out on the dining table, red pins marking known locations of Dante's operations. Satellite images flickered across her laptop screen, each one scrutinized for any clue that might lead her to Samantha.
She donned her tactical gear which was black combat boots, cargo pants, a fitted shirt, and a vest equipped with various tools and weapons. Her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail, and her face was set in a mask of determination. She was ready.
As she prepared to leave, her phone buzzed with a message from Luke: Meet me at the airstrip in one hour.
She nodded to herself, grabbed her bag, and headed out the door.
Her flight was silent. Charter jet. Off-grid.
She read the intel Hobbs sent which was brief, encrypted, clinical. Samantha had been targeted because of her bloodline. Dante Reyes was continuing the legacy of his father Hernan, using violence and vendettas to break those who destroyed his empire. Hobbs had crossed him.
Now Dante wanted blood.
But he made one mistake.
He took a mother’s daughter.
The Airstrip
The sun hung low over the Haitian horizon, casting long gold streaks across the tarmac. A private airstrip carved out of jungle and salt-worn stone buzzed with quiet urgency. Two Falcon aircraft idled nearby, their engines humming like thunder on standby.
The crew which consisted of Dominic Toretto, Letty Ortiz, Tej Parker, Roman Pearce, Han, Gisele, Tess, and Ramsey stood in a loose semi-circle near the cargo hold, double-checking their gear and loading crates of weapons and tech.
The stillness broke as the black SUV tore across the dusty runway. It skidded to a stop near the group, and Hobbs stepped out of the driver’s side, towering as ever in tactical gear, his jaw clenched tight.
He rounded the vehicle and opened the passenger door. And she stepped out. Fierce. Dressed in matte-black fatigues. Her brown eyes were sharp, scanning the team in an instant. She moved like a soldier, quiet and precise. The air shifted with her presence.
Everyone straightened.
“Damn,” Roman muttered, under his breath. “Who’s the queen of shadow ops?”
Hobbs raised a hand. “Listen up.” The murmurs died. All eyes turned to him.
“This is Veda Burgos. She’s ex-Army Spec Ops, classified black-tier contractor, and she’s saved my ass more times than I can count.” He turned toward her, his voice softer, but still heavy with weight. “She’s also my wife. Or... was.”
Veda gave a slight nod. “Let’s not get distracted by titles.”
Letty arched a brow, folding her arms. “So you’re the one we’ve heard absolutely nothing about.”
Dom, calm but observant, extended a hand. “Welcome.”
She took it. Firm grip. No hesitation.
“We’re going after my daughter,” Veda said, looking from face to face. “Samantha. You all know what we’re up against. But I need you to understand something, this isn’t just another mission. If we don’t get to her in time, Dante Reyes won’t just use her to get to Hobbs. He’ll break her to get to me.”
The team nodded, silently absorbing her words. Hobbs stepped beside her. “She’s the best there is. And I trust her with my life.”
Roman cleared his throat. “Okay, but real quick—how come we’ve never heard of her before? Like, never? Not even in a 'back-in-the-day' story?”
Tej elbowed him. “Because that’s what real ghosts do, man. They don’t leave stories.”
Veda gave Roman a small, deadly smile. “Let’s just say I wasn’t on the party circuit.”
Ramsey clicked her tablet, bringing up a holographic 3D map of the compound.
“Glad you’re here. We need every hand we can get,” she said. “Dante’s fortified the site with military-grade tech, infrared sensors, heavy weapons, and a kill-switch on the prison floor.”
“Then we go in silent,” Veda said. “We ghost the perimeter, neutralize the guards, and extract the asset, my daughter. No noise, no mistakes.”
Letty smirked. “I like her.”
Han stepped forward, nodding. “So do I.”
Hobbs looked at them all, then down the runway toward the rising heat waves.
“Gear up,” he growled. “We leave in fifteen.”
Veda turned back to the Falcon jet, walking shoulder to shoulder with Hobbs. For the first time in years, they moved like they used to do. One rhythm, one mission.
Hobbs slightly turned his head to her, his eyes scanning her form before settling on her face.
"You look the same," he said, his voice tinged with something she couldn't quite place.
"Time hasn't been kind to you," she replied, her tone teasing but with an edge of sincerity.
He offered a small smile, but it didn't reach his eyes. "Let's get to work."
As she climbed the ramp, Veda paused and looked over at him. “Of course,” she said. “This is about bringing my daughter home. And I’ll burn the world down to do it.”
He didn’t doubt her.
And as the Falcon lifted off the runway, slicing through the Haitian dusk, they followed her lead into the storm.
Cap-Haitien
The jet touched down in Cap-Haitien under the cover of darkness. The humid air hit Veda as she stepped onto the tarmac, the scent of saltwater and earth mixing in the night air. She adjusted her gear, her senses sharpening as she surveyed the surroundings.
Luke joined her, his presence a steadying force. "Intel suggests Dante's compound is about five clicks from here," he said, consulting a handheld device. "We move out in ten."
Veda nodded, her mind already calculating the best route. She trusted Luke's information, but she would verify it herself. She always did.
The team assembled, a mix of seasoned operatives and local contacts. They moved out swiftly, navigating through the dense jungle underbrush, their movements coordinated and silent. Veda led the way, her instincts guiding her through the terrain.
As they neared the compound, the sounds of the jungle faded, replaced by the eerie quiet of the enemy's stronghold. Veda signaled for the team to halt, her eyes scanning the perimeter.
"Two guards at the entrance," she whispered. "We take them out silently, then breach."
Luke gestured for the team to spread out, each member taking their assigned position. Veda and Luke moved in tandem, their actions fluid and precise. Within moments, the guards were neutralized, their bodies hidden from view.
They approached the compound's main building, a fortified structure that loomed ominously in the moonlight. Veda crouched beside the door, assessing the best way to gain entry.
"Explosives?" Luke suggested.
Veda shook her head. "Too risky. We go in quiet."
She produced a small device from her belt and attached it to the door's lock mechanism. Within seconds, it clicked open. She pushed the door slightly ajar, peering inside.
The interior was dimly lit, the air thick with the scent of mildew and decay. They moved in, their footsteps muffled by the worn floorboards.
They navigated the labyrinthine hallways of the compound, each turn bringing them closer to their goal. The tension was real, every shadow a potential threat. Veda's hand hovered near her weapon, ready for anything.
They reached a reinforced door at the end of a narrow corridor. Veda signaled for the team to halt. She approached the door, listening for any sounds from within. Hearing nothing, she placed her ear against the cold metal, her senses straining.
A faint sound like a muffled sob reached her ears. Her heart clenched. It was Samantha.
She turned to Luke, her expression hardening. "She's in there."
Luke nodded grimly. "Let's move."
They breached the door, weapons raised. Inside, the room was empty but there was a monitor playing a video of a crying Samantha.
“You really think I would make this easy for you, Hobbs,” Dante’s voice crackled over comms. “And hello, Veda, nice of you to come out of hiding. I look forward to meeting you again,” He chuckled.
Veda's fists clenched at her sides, her knuckles whitening. Anger surged within her, hot and fierce. But beneath that anger was a cold, calculating resolve. Dante had made a grave mistake. He had underestimated them.
They boarded the jet once more, the engines roaring to life as it taxied down the runway. Veda settled into her seat, the familiar hum of the aircraft grounding her. She pulled up the mission parameters on her tablet, reviewing them once again. Dante Reyes was a dangerous adversary, a man who had orchestrated chaos and destruction with a twisted sense of justice. He had taken their daughter, and for that, he would pay.
Luke sat across from her, his gaze fixed on the horizon. The silence between them was thick, laden with unspoken thoughts and shared history. It was a silence that spoke of battles fought and lost, of promises made and broken. But it was also a silence that spoke of unity, of a bond forged in the crucible of adversity.
"How has she been?" Veda asked, her voice breaking the stillness.
Luke's eyes softened, a flicker of warmth amidst the storm. "She's been strong," he replied. "Just like her mother."
Veda smiled faintly, her heart swelling with pride. Samantha had always been resilient, a trait she had inherited from both of them. She was their daughter, their flesh and blood, and she had the strength to endure whatever Dante threw her way.
But Veda knew that strength alone wouldn't be enough. They needed more. They needed the full force of the Hobbs family.
"We need your brothers," Veda said, her tone brokering no argument.
Luke's expression hardened, a flicker of defiance in his eyes. "Absolutely not," he said, his voice low and firm.
There was no way Luke was involving his eight younger brothers: Jonah, Mateo, Kal, Timo, Enele, Enoka, Laki, and Fetu in this. They had their own lives, their own battles. This was his fight, his responsibility.
But Veda was unyielding. "This is about Samantha," she said. "We need more people to rescue her."
Luke met her gaze, the weight of her words sinking in. She was right. They couldn't do this alone.
With a heavy sigh, Luke relented. "Take the jet to Samoa," he told the pilot.
As the jet soared into the sky, heading toward the distant islands of Samoa, Veda allowed herself a moment of reflection. The path ahead was fraught with danger, the stakes higher than ever. But she was ready. They all were. Dante had made a grave mistake. And they were coming for him.

Your heels clicked against the cold tainted floor as you walked through an old facility. You scrolled on the tablet in your hand, checking your survivance making sure no one would interrupt you. With your head held high, you walked into a room, inside was an indestructible glass cell holding a woman with short hair and dyed blond tips.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the woman wanted in seven different countries." You teased the woman with a smirk. Upon hearing your voice she turned her body around in a chair to face you, holding a smirk of her own. "Me? You're wanted in forty-six. I've done my research." "Well, I like to make a statement." You laughed as you removed your sunglass and set them down on the medal table in front of you. Your eyes never left the one, competing in some sort of staring contest as you took a seat in the metal chair. "Oh, Cipher, there's a lot I can do with you. But first, I would like to give you a... once in a lifetime deal." "Which is?" "Getting revenge on the people you hate the most-- With a snap of your fingers, one of your guards handed you a case file. Swiftly you opened it and sat three photos down on the table where you knew she could see.-- The Toretto's." ___________________________________________________________
With a roar from your car, you were off- two more cars behind you. You were on a mission and you didn't plan on stopping until you had everything you needed for this mission to work. A device created by Russian spies was made to be used on the human mind to take full control of them. The device was called The Hyper Project. There were three parts to the device and all three parts were separated throughout the world- Belize, Latvia, and Singapore. You just happen to be in Belize but you are oblivious to the people already there. After thirty minutes, You and your team arrived on the scene. A tall building, maybe six stories high but abandoned broken glass windows, and busted open doors. Nothing else was in sight but green tall trees giving the illusion of being in a forest. Cautiously, you stepped out of your car, putting on your sunglass and tucking your gun in the waistline of your jeans before you and your team rounded towards the back of the building. "Cipher, how we doing love?" You asked the petite woman through an earpiece, every member of your team hand one, especially your best friend. "No one's around for miles. You're clear. What you're looking for is buried underground ten feet in front of you. You'll need a code, it'll be 1989." ~~~ ...1989...
Y/n was balled up in the corner, nowhere to go due to the chain locked around her little neck weighing her down. She was scared and she had every right to be. She didn't know these two strange men who dared to take her in the middle of the night. Who dared to lock her in some sort of basement and not feed her for days. She had a right to be scared because she was only three years old. So young, so innocent. She was awakened by the sounds of gunshots, which made her even more frightened than she already was. Followed by the sounds of gunshots, the sound of the basement door opened- a sound she became all too familiar with. Three men she didn't recognize came down the stairs, two of them pointing a gun at her causing her to coward away. "Stand down." The man in the suit ordered before taking cautious steps towards her. He took off his shaded glass before taking a kneel to examine the young girl more. He could see her shaking, he could see the growing bruises on her once soft skin, and he could see how skinny she grew. He felt remorse, a feeling had never felt before. With a snap of his fingers, the man carrying the guns hurried to snap the chain from around her neck and set her free. "Come with me little one. I will protect you." The man spoke softly with his hand held out. She was hesitant, but she had no one left after being told her father died and assumed her siblings had given up on finding her. She had absolutely no one now. Without a second thought, she took the man's hand and seeing that she was weak he carried her small body out of the building and into his car immediately welcoming her were food and a bunch of water. He became her new home...
~~~Carefully, you walked forward until you heard Cipher telling you to stop. Bending down you used you wiped the dust from the cell with your gloved hands and smirked. "Somethings wrong.-- Cipher warned. The tone in her voice told you that what she was saying was the truth. -- A heat radiation should be coming from the safe. There isn't one." "Someone was here before us." You turned to look at your best friend, noticing how he stood still to listen to his surroundings. Quiet had settled upon everyone, waiting for Eli to catch something. With the silence, you heard the sound of cars revving within the trees. "Someone's here." He warned before he and two other men began walking into the forest holding their rifles high. You and the others walked back to the cars, starting them immediately and following behind them. You stopped quickly allowing Eli to hop in behind tailing the people who didn't fall too far in front of you. "You said no one was around for miles," Eli yelled at Cipher. You turned to look at him before changing gears and pushing your foot on the gas more. "They have deceived on their cars showing that they're off-grid. I couldn't see them until now." "How many cars?" "Four. They're heading for the town." "Yeah? They're gonna need a change in plans." Swerving your car, you decided to take a different path- a shortcut, two of your team's cars following behind as the others stayed on the regular route. Eli opened the sunroof, taking his time to stand on your stainless leather seats and point his gun towards the group of cars on your left side. "Targets locked-" "Eli, don't get cocky." With a roll of his eyes, he cocked back his gun and shot in front of the first car creating an explosion. The black vehicle had to swerve around it but continued its trail. "Cipher, which car is it in?" "The car in the middle, red. Looks like they snuggled it in the trunk" "Eli, take the wheel." You put the car on auto-pilot and climbed into the passenger seat as Eli took your seat behind the wheel, take the car back off auto-pilot, and continued at a fast speed. Grabbing a black bandana from your glove department, you tied it around your head making sure your eyes and mouth wouldn't be seen. "Get close to the red one." You ordered your best friend who nevertheless did as told. Gaining the same speed as the red car with two women in it he crept close- practically side to side. Climbing out of the car through the sunroof, you waited till" the car was steady to jump on top of the red car. They tried to swerve and hit the brake to fly you off but the technology on the bottom of your combat boots helped you stay on. Walking towards the trunk, you shot it open and received the first part of Hyper Project. It was about the size of your hand and just holding it already made you feel more powerful. Eli had put the car in auto-pilot before climbing into the passenger seat and opening the driver's door. Swiftly, you jumped into the seat and closed the door before handing Eli the piece and taking him to mask off. Looking towards both women, you watched as their faces turned and their attention was no longer on the road. Shooting them a smirk you began driving fast until you reached the side of the black car, also making eye contact with the two men who sat side by side. You knew who they were, and more than likely they knew who you were which is why you shot them a smile before pulling your emergency brake and turning your wheel so you were driving the opposite way. Mission one is complete. ~~~
"Did y'all see that woman? -- Roman asked with his voice raised. Everyone remained quiet, especially the main three. Dom, Jacob, and Mia. They were in shock, they didn't know how to feel upon seeing you. They thought you were dead. -- She jumped onto their car and got half of the device without shooting a bullet. She was even sticking to the roof no matter how hard they tried to shake her off. Who the fuck had that kind of technology?" "Do one of you wanna tell them or should she just remain a secret?" Letty asked. She leaned back into her chair only making direct eye contact with the three siblings whose gazees were glued to the ground. "Tell us what-. You know what, don't answer that. 'Cause the last time, I asked we were dealing with him, a Toretto." Roman pointed towards Jacob who rolled his eyes at him. The room got quiet and that's only when the others started to connect the dots. You were a Toretto. "So you mean to tell us we're dealing with another Toretto? One who has upstaged technology and is searching for a weapon that can control every living person in the universe? Are you bloody serious?" Deckard irritatedly asked the group. Some felt his frustration. The last time they took on Toretto In war, Jacob, they were so close to death. Now there was another Toretto to stop. Some wondered how many more Toretto's there were left. "Dom-- Han's voice was small but demanding causing Dominic to search within his eyes. -- Who is she?" "Her name is Y/n Toretto. The youngest, the last Toretto." "What happened to her?" ~~~ ...Early 1989...
"Did you brush your teeth?" Dom asked his little sister as he carried her to her bedroom. The moon shined brightly in the sky and the house was quiet meaning almost everyone had gone to sleep. "Yes." "Did you say goodnight to dad, Jacob, and Mia?" "Yeah. I said goodnight." "Did you pray?" "Mhm-hmm." "Good girl." Dom complimented his youngest sister. Genty he tucked her into bed and sat on the edge as he looked down at her tired face. He withdrew the silver cross necklace each Toretto had from his neck and snapped it around hers causing a bright small smile to grow on her face. Dom never thought about ever having to choose a favorite sibling, he loved them all the same. But Y/n was special. She always held a very special place in his heart that not even Mia nor Jacob could compare to. But still, he loved all his siblings with all of his heart. "Dad gave me that, just like the one he has and the one he gave Jacob. Now, you and Mia have one. It symbolizes who we are. We're Toretto's-" "And we don't give up easily." She finished. He smiled brightly at the girl, gently rubbing the hair out of her face. "That's right y/n/n. You're the smartest three-year-old I know." "Daddy taught me." "He taught you right. Get some rest kiddo, we have a big day tomorrow." "Goodnight Dom." He kissed her goodnight before turning off her light and making his way towards the garage where his father was working. The night grew more and more, and eventually, the whole house was sound asleep in their perspective rooms oblivious to the noises at the front door. Two men dressed in all black with masks managed to break in without a single sound. Cautiously and quietly, they trailed upstairs on a mission to kill Jack or torture him for money. Slowly they opened Jack's bedroom door but found it empty. They didn't know he was wide awake in the garage continuing his work on his car. Forming a different plan they opened the first door they came to and saw a little girl sound asleep in her bed. "Take her." The taller one ordered the other. The other man looked at his partner in disbelief. "No man. Kidnapping a little girl was not part of the plan." "Don't question me about the plan. Jack isn't here and the only thing more important to him other than racing is his family. Look at the necklace around her neck, she's a Toretto man. Take her." Hesitantly the man walked into her room and slapped his hand over her mouth muffling her little cries of help. He replaced his hand with a piece of tape and threw her over his shoulder as they both hurried out of the house making sure to leave a note where Jack would see.
I can’t say for certain but I have a feeling that John Cena is intentionally choosing villainous movie roles after playing the hero for years in the WWE. He wasn’t necessarily “evil” in Bumblebee but he was definitely antagonistic. But then you have Fast 9 where he’s straight up the main villain.
Maybe he got tired of being the good guy and now he wants to expand his range. Or maybe he secretly agreed with all the “John Cena should turn heel” articles that kept popping up back when he was a WWE regular.
Ok you know who would be fun ship Jessie with if he lived? Jacob Toretto. Like what if the two of them had a thing before Dom kicked him out? Or Jessie had a crush on Jacob. And because Dom kicked Jacob out. He and Jessie never got to resolve those feelings they had for each other. Than Jacob comes back and the two have all the feelings come back. And Brian and Dom are all over protective of Jessie for another reason now.
I love that. That’s fucking great. The amidst, the tension, the comfort, the hurt, the joy. I need it in my life right away. I can see this 100% its be so fucking cute too.
