Hey look, YanDan art! I did one of those 'TMA Entities' monochrome colour drawings but with the characters from the RBB TMA AU :) This has been something I've wanted to try for a while, but got around to it now! This was technically my Halloween project, but uh...bit late for that now innit.

I'll be posting all the individuals over the next two weeks or so! Maybe I'll post 2-a-day instead of 1?

do you hc anyone in rbb to be a robot (or somewhat of a robot) :3 (definitely is normal about a certain green host who I have many robot hcs about :3)

A few! There's only one 'pure' robot, and that's Devoun. He's a silly little robot guy who can't pass Captcha tests without assistance.

One of the cyborgs is Jackeryz. His legs are robotic, and he probably has vision enhancers as he can't see out of one of his eyes. Jack is...a bit of a mad scientist, in my headcanons? He repeatedly experimented on himself, hence the roses growing out of his skin and his skin turning ice-cold/ice-blue. The robotic enhancements were just one small step in his scientific investigation journey. (Yes, he cut off his legs.)

The other is MiniToon. He's got cybernetic enhancements everywhere, just hidden - the only visible one is his prosthetic arm.

There are characters who have prosthetics, but I wouldn't call them cyborgs. Currently the only character in this category is DJ, because I think I'm going with the idea he has robotic legs. Because once again, running at superhuman speeds on human legs tends to be pretty painful.

So remember how I said that TMA!Albert would be the main Flesh avatar? Well...I changed my mind. (Body Horror warning ahead!)

This stemmed from me realising that I didn't really like Albert's concept all that much, it didn't feel right. A bit of thinking later, and I realised it was because I'd aligned Albert with the wrong entity, and he didn't have a strong enough concept to justify it. That man's not a Flesh avatar - he's a Desolation avatar! So I changed up a few things, and now all the RBB S3 participants are either avatars or important characters in some way, lol

To summarise these four:

Leah Ashe is a Desolation avatar. She primarily feeds on the fear of physical pain, brought through her weather abilities (mainly uses shocks and ice to cause pain)

Albert 'Flamingo' Stuff, named for his tattoos and flamingo hat, is also an avatar of the Desolation. However, he instead focuses on emotional pain - he worms his way into a group of some kind, and either focuses on tearing one person's life apart, or setting the whole group ablaze.

Dr. Jack Eryz is a Flesh avatar. He's not a medical doctor, but he does have an actual doctorate in Human Anatomy. However, upon meeting another Flesh avatar, his ideas of making the human body 'the best it can be' went a little bit too far, and now he experiments on other people and himself.

Sanna (no last name yet) is yet another Flesh avatar, and is most likely the avatar Jack met before his own ascension. She's an animal shelter worker, but she creates content about food (ie she's a food influencer) on the side. However, the meat she eats and serves up to her friends and collaborates is...not always from animals.

So, yeah, new concepts that I'm much happier with - my plans for Sanna are very fun especially.

Why are there Bin Weevils in my askbox. Anyway, answers to your questions under the cut!!

Question 1: C!YanDan is…something, certainly. He was formed by negative energy generated when a crystal exploded (if you know, you know), and that negative energy cloud possessed a malnourished unused clone in the basement of a laboratory in the woods. He dislikes DanTDM on principle, but like, he’s only met the guy once. These days, he’s just a hitman who gets sent out on slightly more unscrupulous jobs, alongside his friends. You can find his reference, as well as his two friend’s references, here, here and here. There’s also their boss, but I haven’t uploaded him yet.

Question 2: Least favourite, uh, the ones who’ve turned out to be not-nice people behind the scenes, I guess? You know the ones. Favourite is probably Tanqr and Kreek, because I’m basic as fuck. But also, underrated favourites are Hyper, Jackeryz and Calixo. Oh, Think, Preston and BigB are also up there, but I like them for other reasons.

Question 3: I’m going to do songs because I don’t know scents all too well. Some of these I am very certain of, some of these are just flat out vibes.

Question 4: That depends on what universe you’re asking about. Lana and Bella have major roles in the TMA AU, so they’ll likely appear more there! Bella’s also pretty important to some of my other AUs, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. Hoopie, meanwhile…I don’t really include her? Mainly because I don’t fukcing know what her and Tanqr have going on. Are they dating? Are they just friends? I don’t know how she fits in. In my take on canon, I have them in a weird situationship where they don’t even know what they are. So…yeah.

Question 4.5: Correct on Bella - she is a shapeshifter! Her knowledge on human anatomy has gotten a lot better, but that accursed Rthro render was the result when she…didn’t. Steak, meanwhile, is just a slab of meat. He doesn’t have bones. He doesn’t have hair. He just has meat slabs carved (and skin) to look vaguely human. (His hair’s texture is either cartilage or leather, I haven’t decided).

Question 5: If I had a nickel for every time Hunt!Kreek was referred to as Bill Cipher, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice, right? In all seriousness, no, he is not okay. The TMA AU (at least, Kreek’s side of it) can basically be summarised by “one man (Kreek) gets haunted by and slowly turns into a fucked up version of his YouTube channel mascot” and with that comes a major sanity slippage. I’d love to release more TMA AU content, and I do have some stored! It just depends on my motivation and what I want to release. Right now I’m working on writing a full plot outline to make my life easier when talking about it, but it’s taking some time.

Question 6: Bold of you to assume she hasn’t already done that. In fact, in the next chapter, I’d say she’s about to do the exact opposite.

1. In your RBB Superheroes AU, Do the hosts know each other in their civilian identity or do they just know each other as their hero identity?

2. In the RBB Superheroes AU, do the Heroes have their powers as civilians, or do they need their hero attire to activate their powers?

3. In your RBB Pokemon AU, you mentioned that Tanqr beated the previous champion and the previous champion is less serious than Tanqr, if so who is this said champion?

1) The hosts know each other’s secret identities. They’re a team, and are pretty close due to working closely together. (On that note, Kreek and Devoun also know each other’s identities as they are also a team.)

2 ) No, their powers can be used whenever. The suits are just to hide their identities and let them use their powers more efficiently (eg: Devoun needs an existing electric circuit for his powers to work, so his suit gives him access to a power bank he can pull a circuit from.) 

3 ) KreekCraft! Kreek is serious, especially about battling, but he’s more lighthearted than Tanqr and is much more open to the press.

5 ) I tend to write S2 and S3 interacting, but I don’t care for S1 as much, so they don’t tend to be there.

6 ) Hell of a question. Uh, that depends on what you call trauma. I like to call it lore. I guess the AU in which things are the most serious for them is the TMA AU, but that’s just a more serious-toned AU in general. 

7 ) Neither. They have good intent, they want to free magical girls from the system - but their wishes to do this came at the cost of their sanities, so they’re far more unscrupulous about their methods than they would be before their wishes. 

8 ) Yes- well, except from the Swap AU, but that’s a given. I try to keep the hosts’ themes in line with their canon themes for most AUs. It can be hard to translate sometimes, like the TMA AU - Healing is generally positice, and the Entities are inherently negative, so associating Sabrina with an entity was hard (I settled on the End).

Hi! So I spent a few hours thinking about these questions, and here are the questions I'm mostly want to ask.

3. Will your RBB Madoka Magica AU, have a Season 2 fanfic

6. How do you mostly use Russo's powers regarding his sword of truth, and what does he uses the sword of truth mostly for

Sorry for the huge amount of questions, but I'm generally just so curious! I hope you don't mind 😅

LETS GO TIME TO RAMBLE ABOUT MY AUs!! Please do keep sending me questions about them - I love to answer and I have so much to say despite barely posting about them.

I'm going to put my answers under a cut, because they're LONG:

It hasn't been mentioned anywhere yet, but in-universe, Jackeryz and Sanna are in charge of making the heroes' outfits presentable, durable and adaptable - including whether they can be quickly changed into or not. Some of them, like Fracture and Riptide, can afford to keep their costumes under their regular clothes or somewhat shrunken under their clothes, so that they can change into their superhero outfits in an instance. Others, like Phoenix and Complexicon, can't do this - they have to change clothes at home, so instead they have easy routes to get home if something happens. (Well, Kreek doesn't really leave his house, but you get the gist.)

Tanqr and Kreek. Individually and as a duo. I love thinking about those two's dynamic, AU or not, how their morals conflict, what might get them to be friends and sympathise with each other as well as what might get them into a serious argument. They're narrative foils, I nearly wrote a whole video essay on them (i did not get past the intro), I love their dynamic so much. I am so normal about them, and I live to see them beat each other up for sport.

No. I've lost motivation for the AU. I did consider revamping it, but I don't have the time for that and have other AUs to focus on. For now though, the AO3 port's notes will (eventually, when i actually update the AO3 port) go into depth as to what the planned 'sequel' was going to be.

TanqR. To give a little hint, he's a formal guy who just loves battling, and is far more serious than the man he beat out to become Top Champ. He also has a strange connection with the villainous team...

I'm not sure what you mean by 'cancelled'. If you mean "currently not working on/making content of", that's a vast majority of my AUs, but they all still exist and hold a dear place in my heart even if they will never see the light of day outside of my private chats. The only AU I suppose I've properly 'cancelled' is the Robloxian Paranormal Archives iteration of the TMA AU, but that just got revamped into Top Of The Food Chain.

There's a bit more depth on Russo's specific powers here, but generally, he uses it for intelligence and interrogation purposes. He can use it to get people to tell him the truth, or to snoop out secrets in a room. It is surprisingly effective use his sword to threaten someone, and then use its power, so that person is forced to reveal how scared they are. He prefers to use it over his Resonators, because those take a lot more energy out of him and mind control is really hard.

The Institute is called the Robloxian Paranormal Institute, but is shortened to the RB Institute by the general public, hence me using both names. The story's not set in total stone just yet, but I have a vague idea.
