SO IT’S A TWSisTED!JAck cHARACTER???? I see elements in his design that may be references to other Nightmare characters as well. The stitching on the sleeves (Sally?) and the glasses are like the ones her father wears but also like skeleton’s eye sockets. Maybe the hair accessory/crown is also a reference to the doctor??

I don't even know how people who have been watching Jack and Joker from the beginning have been dealing with the tension for six whole weeks. I've watched it over two days and now I'm miserable.

Jack and Hope are fighting next episode!

The shirts they are wearing in the trailer when they start boxing:

Are the same ones they are wearing in the episode four preview:

Which probably means Hope is convinced that Jack let Joke go, and Jack is going to stop Hope from going inside to see if Joke is hiding there with the necklace!

And this probably means Joke is spending the night next episode too since Jack is bruised up in the trailer (from the fight with Hope!).

And it would make sense that Joke says this after Jack gets hurt fighting Hope to protect him.

And it's why Jack would go stand outside to get his thoughts in order since he is already falling back in love!

But this also means that Hope won't let it go, which increases the likelihood of Hope running into Save while lurking around Jack's place which means Aran is going to figure out Tattoo is involved because if Hope knows Jack knows Joke and Joke knows Tattoo then Aran knows who took the necklace . . .

Hope found Save mid kidnapping in the middle of a random street on his way home, Joke and ama are literally in your house, like come on Jack you are so freaking slow!

Ama should’ve gutted Carbon, she nearly did and damn if that wasn’t the best scene thing ever!

But for real, was Jack crawling home? Joke and ama have a long heart to heart, sob for a bit, Carbon shows up, gets beat up and then beats them up. Kidnaps Joke, gets him to wherever the fuck he, Save and Rosé are. Chained them up, attached bomb collars to them and get dramatic lights and games set up all the while Jack STILL is walking home!? Where the fuck was he walking home from!? Phuket Island!?

Anyway! I figured Joke would be kidnapped, it was kind of obvious but like, damn I did not expect the jigsaw meets squid games set up. Boss is one sad pathetic little man, he and Carbon deserve each other. And just like with Chopper in NLMG, I believe Arun should be the one to kill his dad. But Chopper didn’t kill his abusive pos dad so I doubt Arun will do it either, but a person can dream.

That might explain the hair piece? I saw some people disappointed with that accessory or not understanding why it’s slapped in there, but maybe this is why…? I think that piece is supposed to be a crown?? Perhaps as a nod to Jack’s status as “Pumpkin King”. It’s certainly a creative way to interpret the original design.

OG!Jack had the ability to pop his head off, so now I’m wondering if twisted!Jack will be capable of doing the same thing…? (You know, to hold his head upside down for us.) He doesn’t appear to be as non-human as OG!Jack though… Maybe he has pointed ears behind his hair (indicative of fae), or stitching at his neck that’s concealed by the collar? His hands seem normal with just gloves over them (and I know Yana is capable of designing a character with a full-on skeletal hand). I want to see where twisted!Jack truly falls on the Monster Boy spectrum 😂
