As Ja'Nel and Jason discussed possible solutions - Clara had a serious talk with Josh.

"That kiss... it was wrong. I want to be with Ja'Nel, she's my soulmate."

"She doesn't treat you like one."

"Stop it Josh. I can be your friend, that's it."

"So I'm thinking that we should go with renewable energy, no fossil fuels."

"How about taking advantage of the weather and the sun? We could install solar panels on the roofs."

"Yeah, I like that. But it's getting late, I have to get up early tomorrow. Thanks for a great chat, Ja'Nel. I appreciate it, you're a lot easier to deal with than Nathan."

"I really appreciate you helping me with the garden. And... I love you, Ja'Nel."

"I love you too, Clara. I'm sorry if I've been grumpy the last couple of days. It's just been overwhelming with the move and everything..."

"... and I've been doing some thinking. I'm going to help out with the electricity and water. I got some ideas already."

"You're the best, Ja'Nel! I'll give Josh and Jason a call right now. There's no time to lose."

Clara got some help in the garden. Not sure how the tomato plants will come out in the end, right now all of them are sad or sick.

"What are you reading?"

"A book."

"Does this mean you're considering helping ou..."

"Quiet."

[plumbob-smooch]

During diner Clara suggested that Ja'Nel would help Jason to figure out the electricity issue.

"You're handy and really good with you know... handy stuff. I'm sure mayor Harvey would appreciate your expertise."

"It's not my responsibility to get this town functioning, it's Jason's. And he's not the mayor yet. I'm not even sure I want to settle down here."

"But... Ja'Nel. I want to settle down here. With you."

After finishing diner on a sor note, they decided to put their differences aside.

"Are you sure this place is safe, Clara? I heard that Nelly had a break-in last night."

"Don't be such a downer, Ja'Nel. Clover Creek is safe."

"We don't even have a police station. The burglar's still out there!"

"Oh, well... I'm sure we don't have to worry. It's not like we have anything of value."

"Thanks for reminding me."

As the ladies gathered in the very spartan kitchen Josh came down to say hello and steal Clara's sandwich. Ja'Nel was not impressed.

After looking for places to settle down, high school sweethearts Clara and Ja'Nel have decided to try their luck in Clover Creek. But an adult are different from being a high schooler. Will they overcome their differences and find peace or will the move to Clover Creek tear them apart?

Meanwhile Ja'Nel greeted Nelly who was passing by.

Ja'Nel "dislikes children" Dunn.

Nelly joined them for lunch and Clara was obviously excited.

"You know if there's someone who will make sure we get electricity it's Ja'Nel, she's a genius!"

"Clara, I've not decided yet. Calm down."

"Well, electricity would be nice. I'm tired of cooking in the dark."

"See, Ja'Nel? You need to talk to mayor Harvey. You'll be the town's hero!"

Ja'Nel didn't answer.

The Clover Creek adventure continues, next up is the Blake-Dunn household! Clara and Ja'Nel lives in this little brick house across from Leo.

And it's a wrap on the Blake-Dunn household. Hopefully the town will have electricity and running water soon. Right now Clara and Ja'Nel feel more like roommates than a couple though.
