𝑾𝑨𝑹𝑵𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑺: Fluff!!!! plus sized!reader, reader not liking her body, lots of reassurance from James. (That should be all!!)

Notes: Decided to have the first fanfic be fluff because it’s cute and James giving reassurance, makes me happy. I’m also sorry that this is so short, it’s more of a drabble!! (Pictures are not describing reader’s body description!!!)

𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑺𝑺𝑼𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑬

It was late afternoon when you began to get ready for a date that James had planned for a little over a week now. You had your hair done, your preferred way to do it everyday as if you were going out on any normal day, but your outfit was more outgoing. You decided to wear a slim dress that was your favorite color, wanting to accommodate your body, wanting James to want you, but you looked in the mirror one last time and suddenly felt insecure about your body.

You kept looking at your figure when suddenly you heard James’ voice call to you as he entered the room. He was wearing a purple button up with a black suit jacket. “Honey, We gotta leave n-” he stopped, noticing something was wrong, but he just couldn’t pinpoint the problem. “Honey? What’s wrong?” He said, walking up closer to you, holding your waist firmly in his hands. You turned to him, sighing to yourself as you began to look up at him, “I'm gonna change.” You said quickly, but James took hold of your arm and pulled you gently back to where you were before, in front of the mirror, in front of him.

James looked at you through the mirror, hugging you from behind, admiring your features through your reflection. “You don’t need to change, sweetheart. You’re beautiful. Always have been, ever since I first laid my eyes on you. All of your curves, slight stretch marks, literally everything about you is beautiful.” Your heart fluttered at his words, blush creeping up into your cheeks, making your face go hot. You looked at him through the mirror, bringing your hand behind you, reaching for the back of his head, running your fingers through the little hairs that were occupying his neck, “You really think so?”

He nodded, smiling as he looked back at you through the mirror, “I know so, babygirl.” He said before kissing your neck softly, a habit of his since you two have met. Neck kisses were a comfort to you and he took note of that the first time he did it. You’ve loved it ever since … You’ve loved him ever since.
