Anything on Jesse Puljujarvi? like is he dating bc in an older video I saw that he said his gf cooks for him but I don’t see any signs on his ig? He seems sooooo sweet

Didn't expect Puljujarvi to have such a wild gossip history but according to the Finnish gossip outlet named Seiska:

He was dating a tennis player Monica Malisen - not sure about whether that is still a thing or not, he doesn't have any posts with her on his social media, but back in 2019 they were together.

Back in 2016, he was seen with a Finnish girl named Karoliina, whose twin sister allegedly dated Roope Hintz. There was also Anniina Kankaas - a girl that competed in Miss Helsinki -, who spent a few nights with him in a hotel and they were caught by Finnish paparazzi I believe... Cheyenne Järvise was another girl Jesse was linked to back in 2017 - she accused him of writing rude messages to her on Snapchat. He also allegedly tried to Emilia Seppänen, despite her having a boyfriend.

At some music festival in 2021, he was going around saying that his you-know-what is big over and over again according to some witnesses...

Keep in mind that all of this information is from a gossip outlet so it is all one big ALLEGED, but still, it was entertaining to read through those articles.

Jesse Puljujarvi #2 - Meet The Parents

“You look nervous, babe,” you say while brushing a hand through Jesse’s hair. He goes to shake his head, obviously not wanting to admit his feelings. It wasn’t the first time you’d seen the furrowed brows and how he chewed on his bottom lip. He usually acts the same way before games.

Jesse shrugs a shoulder and waits another moment before speaking, “I am,” he settles for the two words that confirms how you knew he was feeling.

“Don’t be,” you smile and kiss his cheek, “my parents already love you, meeting them is going to be a breeze babe,” you state.

After four long months you finally were getting the chance to introduce your boyfriend to your parents. There had been some brief ‘tell them I say hi’ sort of interaction, but now they were flying from British Columbia to visit and that meant they’d met your smiley perfect boy. You’d really hit the jackpot with Jesse, after meeting one afternoon downtown, things started slow but then it picked up rather quickly after. It wasn’t till last month you knew you really loved him, you were just glad he had said it first.

“My English still isn’t good enough,” he murmurs while toying with your fingers that sat in his lap. You shook your head at him.

“Your English is great, Jesse, don’t downplay yourself,” you say, “it’s gotten a lot better since I first met you,” you smile and thread your fingers together.

“Thanks to you,” he smiles. And with that wide smile, you’re cheeks hurt from smiling so hard back at him.

“Glad I could help,” you say.

“Do you mind making me some chicken and salad?” Jesse asks. You nod and get up off the couch to do so, Jesse may have been a faster learner with English but cooking wasn’t his strong suit.

As you were taking out some chicken breasts from the fridge, you look back at where Jesse sat - staring at the TV - and frowned a little. There was still a hint of nerves in his posture even. You decide to leave it at what you had and make him his meal before you were to go pick up your parents from the airport.

“Come on, baby,” you groan while nearly dragging Jesse through the airport.

“Why couldn’t I have just waited in the car and let you have alone time with your parents,” he says before you stop at the proper gate your mom and dad would be arriving from. You roll your eyes and wrap your hands around his arm.

“Look at it this way,” you pause, “now you’ll get this whole meeting them thing over with and you’ll realize my parents aren’t anything to be worried about,”

“Meeting my girlfriends parents is a valid reason to be worried,”

“Fine, I agree only because I’ll be nervous to meet your parents too, but please, just stop whining and smile,”

Jesse’s lips turn up into that contagious smile at your words. You lean up and kiss his lips quickly just as the doors open and passengers begin to file out to be greeted by their friends and families. You’re way too excited to see your parents - to be fair you’ll be ready to bring them back to the airport in two days time - and once you see them you’re squeezing Jesse’s arm and grinning.

“There they are!” You say. Then you’re taking a few steps and embracing the two of them in a warm group hug.

“Oh, I missed you,” your mom says.

“I missed you guys too,” you smile and then turn back to see a nervous looking Jesse yet again. Then you smile at him and he’s smiling again, as though it reminds him that his smile had faded away.

“You must be Jesse,” your father says while stepping forward and shaking his hand.

“Dad,” you groan, “remember, I told you this, it’s pronounced like Yes-se, Y instead of J,”

“Right, right the Finnish thing,” he nods and shakes Jesses’ hand. “Sorry about that buddy,” he smiles. Your dad addressing Jesse as buddy makes your smile, even just seeing the two men your loved most in the word with each other made your heart burst.

“It’s so nice to finally meet you,” your mother says before wrapping her arms around Jesse. You widen your eyes for a moment before meeting Jesse’s, who is too taken by surprise but you smile at him and he hugs her back. ��Sorry, I’m a hugger,”

“Y/N mentioned it, it’s okay,” Jesse says.

“I’m sure Y/N mentioned a lot of things, just ignore them all and roll with it kid, we’re a walk in the park, don’t you worry,” and there goes your dad again with the words of wisdom. You roll your eyes but bring your arms around your dad again to give him a side hug.

“Missed you,” you mutter again before letting them walk off as the baggage begins to arrive at the gate.

You step up beside Jesse again and he puts an arm around you by instinct. You smile and look up at him, he notices you looking and stares back down your way. He looks back up briefly, you know he’s checking if your parents are looking before his lips land on yours. You smile through the kiss and then relax into his side and look up into his eyes again.

“Told you that you had nothing to worry about,” you say, being the smartass you were.

Jesse rolls his eyes and then kisses you quick again. Your heart swells up as your mother walks up, your father right behind her, and Jesse takes her suitcase without saying a word. He just smiles and she thanks him, looking your way and mouthing ‘keeper’ in which you just chuckle under your breath and walk by her side to the car. Jesse sure was a keeper, and your parents liking him only made it more clear.
