What I really like about this scene and what puts it over the top for me is that Joke knows Jack is talking about him. Like, there's surprise and shock that Jack is openly addressing it, but there's no confusion. There's no "who is this mystery person that Jack has feelings for?" This scene just felt a lot more exciting and tense because Joke understood what Jack was saying and exactly what he was choosing.

Just something about Joke visibly trying to lock it in a bit bc he can't afford to stop and fully process while in such a high stakes situation just has me obsessed, and it lead so well into the confession/kiss scene later on. The way that Jack and Joke both know what's going on, know how the other feels, but there's still that bit of uncertainty and hesitance--not necessarily about how the other feels, but simply bc circumstances are weird and uncertain.

I am so not good at words and I have so much feelings and the type to feels so so much. I’ve felt this feelings for years since I become an Army. I’ll never shut up the fact that I’ve been with bts and watching jikook since 2014.

it just surreal to see them never change but at the same time remind how me myself never change too. it wasn’t change, it was growth. Jimin and Jungkook growing up, Jimin being less vocal how much he loves jungkook doesn’t mean he’s not. Jungkook pushed him away, doesn’t mean he hates him. They were 18 & 16, Passionate & Shy.

the 18 year old me, first year in college binging every bts contents on youtube, twitter any platform i can get. I still remember when my roommate recommended bts to me, she showed me ‘We are Bulletproof Pt.2’ MV. Jimin caught my eyes right that moment. He’s definitely my type!.

As I become obsessed with bts, I got obsessed with jimin. Everything about him, I love him as he being himself, that passionate young jimin might be embarrassing and funny to watch now as we get older. It’s a sweet memories.

I get it Jimin adores Jungkook since the debut, even before pre debut. He was constantly show and said He loves Jungkook so much. I get him Jungkook have this cuteness about him. I mean even to this day Jungkook is a heartthrob.

Naturally I adores them both, The bangtan bomb where Jimin looking for Jungkook still fresh in my mind. I love seeing them together playing around,talking, teasing each others.

it’s like a serendipity (?) when I think about it deeper. I Didn’t ship them when I saw jikook content or analysis videos. NOPE. I love bts as them seven, but I didn’t plan to love jikook so much until today. It just happened naturally.

It happened naturally when I love jimin, I love everything about him, I see him so I see jungkook, see his affection for him, He cares for Jungkook. loving them made me discover ‘ship’ culture. To this day being in the ship culture is very toxic.

Shipping culture don’t do justice to whatever Jimin and Jungkook have. Their relationship is not just some ship. It’s not even close compare to any other ships in bts or out.

it’s still crazy to me as someone who have been here adoring them both. ‘AYS’ happened felt like a dream. It’s dramatic yes, other people probably won’t understand. Jimin has always careful with his actions and words. the fact he wanted to show us and do this show, I really really really appreciate him doing this for himself and for us.

what Jimin and Jungkook have is a lifetime bond.

What a good opportunity for tumblr to try to negate some very bad John Green karma while also fighting for a good cause, yeah?

Johnson & Johnson is currently, like right this minute, trying to extend their patent on the TB drug bedaquiline, keeping it out of generic for another four years. TB killed about 30,000 people last week and is the world's deadliest infectious disease.

If this drug does not go generic now it could affect 6 million people in the next four years (the time it would take the "new" patent to run out). Out of those millions of people who get TB, but can't get bedaquiline, most of them will die. From a PREVENTABLE DISEASE.

Why is this happening? Money. But also, because TB is not an issue in countries like the US. We can afford its $1.50 a pill price. But if you live in a poor country, that's too much money to spend on something you need to take for up to four months.

J&J needs to let this drug go public and do its job in places that can't currently afford it. They need to help people, instead of trying to wring the last few drops of money out of one of their many products, at the cost of human lives. @sizzlingsandwichperfection-blog does a waaaay better job of explaining this than me. Johnson and Johnson's bankruptcy gambit fails

The Third Circuit Court of Appeals has foiled Johnson & Johnson’s plan to use a bankruptcy scam called the Texas Two-Step to escape paying 40,000 women who were injured when the pharma giant sold them asbestos-tainted talcum powder to dust over their vulvas, leading to gruesome cancers:

Back in 2018, a jury awarded $4.69 billion to 22 women whose ovarian cancer was caused by J&J’s toxic product, $4.14b of which was punitive, awarded because J&J ignored the link between applying talcum powder to one’s genitals and cancer, and continued to market its products as a “Shower to Shower” genital deodorant:

With thousands more lawsuits in the pipeline, the company sprung into action, restructuring in Texas using a quirk of the state’s merger laws that allows a single company to “merge” into two separate entities.

The Texas Two-Step is a corrupt gambit that uses this quirk to allow large companies to escape liability for their misdeeds, by creating one company that holds the assets and profitable businesses of the firm, and another company that holds the firm’s toxic products and the liabilities they produced. The “bad” company then declares bankruptcy, leaving the “good” company to walk away with the billions it made by harming people, and leaving the victims to squabble over the meager assets from the bankruptcy.

To maintain the pretense that this maneuver isn’t just a ruse to escape liability, companies undertaking the Texas Two-Step have the “good” company guarantee some of the liabilities of the “bad” company. That’s what J&J did, and the women it injured sued over it:

The appeals court didn’t find J&J’s bankruptcy persuasive. They found that any bankruptcy for the “bad” company should come after it had exhausted all guarantees the “good” company had made. Summarizing the court opinion Bloomberg’s Matt Levine writes, “You want to file for bankruptcy while you still have plenty of money to pay claims, but not too much money.”

J&J has vowed to appeal. If their appeal succeeds, it will be another blow against corporate accountability and against the bankruptcy system, both of which have are at their lowest ebb in living memory. Just the fact that J&J is still in business is remarkable. Poison talcum powder is only the latest salvo in J&J’s war on women’s reproductive organs — just a year ago, the company was ordered to pay hundreds of millions for selling women vaginal meshes, aggressively marketed for incontinence and prolapse, long after it learned that these meshes could permanently fuse with patient’s pelvic floors, leading to “severe pain, bleeding, infections, discomfort during intercourse.”

This time, the company might just have to pay for its crimes.
