Are the terms beastkin and werebeasts synonymous? Or are they separate things

beastkin aparently counts for izutsumi and lycion (both are humans fused with monsters) but as far as I understand werebeast is the ones that can transform? I can't tell tbh I should check what are the actual words in japanese because I keep seeing different translations and I cant tell which one to use!

They're both classified as beast-man in their race info (beastkin is just another translation)

Honestly, the part I find most interesting about the Marcille succubus is less this part:

Like, yeah sure, that Succille went straight for the kisser before trying to hit the more complex desires shows that there is a lil' somethin' somethin' there - just letting you know the side I'm taking with that.

But that Laios can go straight for its throat with such unthinking brutality... that reveals more about him than either side of the succ-seduction does.

But what it reveals is, frankly, more questions for me. Like, this could be just me reading too much into things, but this comes across almost like Izutsumi being able to murk her succ due to the cat monster's protection.

Not that I'm saying I think that Laios is secretly, unknowingly a beast-man, but there seems like there's some instinct kicking in that's overriding the succ-suck vibes. More likely a trained instinct.

So, like, Laios' time in and after the army... I really do feel like there's something more there, I keep saying.

(also, tbh, I don't feel like the succs are naturally able to tap into more complicated wants and this one is only able to do so because of the Demon's influence)
