his grand tales of sparring with his siblings seemed to pique her interest which had become teasing and bickering, positing that perhaps since acquiring logia abilities, he's relied too heavily on its advantages and has thus grown rusty in the basic arts of hand to hand combat. thus challenging him to a sparring match barring the use of the mera mera no mi.

she's agile , countering many of his quicker attacks and unafraid to headlong into offense. ace dodges her bold fists and springs upwards to avoid the swipe of her foot. she's everywhere all at once and it leaves him breathless and impressed.

he nearly has her , but she thinks quick on her feet , using the momentum of his cocky attack to get him on his back, knees pressing into either side of his legs to prevent him from bucking her off. though, she doesn't pin him down quick enough, his physically strength winning, and he soon has her in a similar position , his forearms pinning hers.

" too bad. kinda liked it when you were on top--- " the irritated flair of her nostrils elicits a chuckling response. it's only when he watches a bead of sweat trickle down the hollow of her throat does he truly acknowledge how closely they press together. how her ribcage expands and deflates against him as her huffing breaths rapidly leave her and brush over his parted lips.

his lips collide against hers, his forearms baring down on hers become the drag of his hands, sand-speckled skin against calloused palms. if she used the opportunity to flip them over , ace certainly would consider it a win all the same.

I saw a Buffy gifset where Spike made the joke, “I ate a decorator once, maybe something stuck.” and this is 100% not an original concept but now I am fascinated with the idea of vampires just absorbing or keeping some part of their victims, like iZombie (TV) when Liv eats the brains and picks up traits from the person, except permanently.

like, can you imagine if every time one of the BTVS vamps drank from someone, they kept a piece of them? Sure, this has some deeply tragic or heartbreaking potential, especially with the souled vamps,

but also consider:

Angel drank from Buffy, so now sometimes he randomly speaks like a valley girl and is very upset because he can’t do SHIT about it

I haven't been on Tumblr much bc work has been crazy so this list needed updating

Currently watching : Shadow and Bones season 2 (ep 3), Bed Friend (ep 6, Tumblr did wear me down), HIStory 3: Trapped (ep 6, it started off so well but I'm not so convinced now), Tomorrow (ep 3, need to find time to see the friend I'm watching it with), My School President (ep 8, it's cute but I don't see what the fuss is about, a bit too teenager-y for me perhaps), GAP The Series (ep 7, I guess I'm kinda stuck for some reason)

Rewatching : The Untamed (ep 21, kinda took a break from it with my roommate but we need to get back to watching) , Not Me (ep 9, my gf just found out Todd is indeed a "snake boi" and she's very happy haha), IZombie season 2 (comfort show)

Just finished : Who Rules the World (pretty good but the ending ruined it a bit by being so rushed), The End of the World with You (it was so weird I loved it), Dark season 3 (it was good but made my brain hurt, if you wanted to make a PSA against incest you didn't have to make it so complicated)

Movies recently watched : Captain Volkonogov escaped (4****), Empire of Light (4****), All the Beauty and the Bloodshed (3***) - they were all very aesthetic in their own way (+Saitankyori wa Maladie Kudokute 1*, kinda want to forget it)

On pause : RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 (ep 7), Unforgotten night (ngl I only watched it because I was horny and I gave up after a couple episodes, don't think I will start again), The office season 7 (I just watched 6 seasons in two months and I think I need a break)

To watch : Leverage (gf has gotten me hyped so we need to get to it now !), Till the End of the Moon (I'm resisting the Tumblr gifsets but for how long), Triage (just looks like a solid BL) , Je verrai toujours vos visages (French social drama about restorative justice), About Kim Sohee (Korean social drama), Burning Days (Turkish thriller/social drama, yes I have a movie type), Die Wannseekonferenz (German historical drama about the 1942 conference to settle the "Jew question"), Beau is Afraid (American drama-comedy about a man with a concussion apparently?)
