you held him close, your heart swelling with pride and love. "i couldn't have done it without you," you murmured into his shoulder.

"eonni, why does this hurt so bad? he's moved on and i'm still here." you sobbed into her comforting arms.

"oh honey..." mai brushed your tear-soaked bangs away from your face, revealing your swollen eyes and red nose. "you and jake were becoming toxic. you guys never had time for each other and always fought. at least now you can remember him with a nice memory, hm?"

"b-but..." you couldn't even finish your sentence as you broke down into her comforting hold.

it was your first anniversary. jake had planned a surprise getaway, whisking you away to a secluded cabin in the mountains. you spent the weekend disconnected from the world, just enjoying each other's company.

"happy anniversary," jake whispered, handing you a small, wrapped gift.

you opened it to find a delicate necklace with a heart-shaped pendant. "it's beautiful, jake. thank you."

jake smiled, taking your hand. "i wanted to give you something to remind you of us, no matter where we are or what we're doing."

you felt tears of happiness prick your eyes. "i'll always wear it. just like i'll always love you."

MY JEEMIN DEBUTED!! i'm so happy for her :,) what are your thoughts on the lineup? who is your bias / wreckers?

for me personally, i love the lineup! my top pick was jeemin so i'm overall so happy she finally made it! drama unit making it as a whole is so wholesome :,) the lineup imo is strong overall & i feel would collectively be a strong group.

(i watched runext and she was my p01 there as well, so seeing her finally debut is so special to me 🥹)

however, mnet playing with fuko was NAWT it. like that's my girl right there :( how could you not only play with her twice??? (or 3x i can't recall) but not debut her? AND she wrote iwaly lyrics like Girl what the f!!!

also saebi being a last minute addition was such a plot twist... like that was literally insane. but i love my saebi girl, i'm so happy for her (& ofc izna overall).

all i gotta say tho... idk how i'm feeling bout the group name 😭 but i'm sure it'll grow on me LOL

my bias is < jeemin 3 ,, my wreckers are probably sarang, saebi, and jiyoon! but idk this may change often i love them all :,) congratulations to izna & i can't wait to support you!

as for yuju, gyuri, fuko, and all the other contestants, i will be rooting & supporting them as they grow and pursue what their future holds!

You see it's the pretty girlies songs and the protagonist who got glasses (mid 2000's indicator of unattractiveness) is watching from the side of the stage. One day she will soon take off her glasses and take on the world to become the next big thing. (The girlies were pretty tho)
