Please be aware that Multiverses of Doom will have a more vulgar sense of humor, like south park or rick and morty or something (although the comic is more of a dramedy than a comedy).

I love adult comedies to death, especially those with dark, raunchy and crude humor. With that said, I am very particular about my jokes. I refuse to write jokes, or other media biased to a particular belief or that I believe may be genuinely hurtful. "Offensive" jokes shouldn't literally upset someone, they're there to make people laugh.

Honestly, I'm just here to reference that one meme where someone said Zim has a Puerto Rican fuckboy haircut- 😭

I'm planning on making a crossover between Jhonen's other works, however I unfortunately cannot read Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, as I have a sensitivity to some of the topics in it. I will do as much research as I can on the characters and will find out what installations of the comic(s) I actually can read safely, as I do want to make a rewrite of some characters, however I do not want to put my mental state at risk.

The whole reason I'm going through this effort is because I love the common headcanon of Johnny being Dib's uncle or something, and I really want to include that in Multiverses of Doom, I just need to make it work out safely.

In most tinelines (unless it's a sister-timeline to one that already exists), Gir usually has a different animal as his disguise, as well as a different name or nickname. If Zim is different, Gir should be as well.

For example, in Number 2's tineline, his disguise is a white chinchillla, and rather than eating primarily Mexican food, he eats primarily Peruvian food. He calls himself Canchita, after a snack sometimes called Peruvian popcorn; inspired by something chinchillas do when they're excited called 'popcorning' (excited jumping in response to positive attention).

Another thing is that after getting back to their own timelines, Zim's counterparts from the Zimvoid got their Girs' rebuilt, keeping all of their memories before the disaster in the Bermuda's Quadrangle.

Officer Squidman will return in Multiverses of Doom. How? I'm not sure yet. But he's coming back.

The Skoolchildren will have a full redesign, as well as more prominent roles and their own personal lives in Invader Zim: Multiverses of Doom.

My main focus out of them current is everyone at the rejects table (whom I consider to be Keef's friend group), Jessica, Chunk, Zita and Sara. However, with that said any incidental characters I can find information about online will get a fleshed out design.

There also may be some alternative timeline designs for some select characters.

Invader Zim: Multiverses of Doom will take place in in Ontario, Canada on the border of New York State.

Due to Jhonen's love of writing Mexican characters, and my own love of doing the same (as I live near the border of Mexico), I've decided that the main town seen should be... not an ethnic enclave, idk what you'd call it, a mixed ethnic community neighborhood perhaps?

As several characters can be assumed to have different races and ethnicities, I will say it's predominantly Pan-Latino (maybe 50% or so?), with a heavy distribution of other ethnicities (French Canadian, Black, Pan-Asian, etc.) as the other 50%.

I came up with this idea a while back, and I thought it would be fun to play around with, because it would allow a lot of room not only for Mexican culture, but for culture from other Latino countries as well. Not to mention the other 50% of the population having their own individual and well appreciated cultures, which I'll gladly study. After all, there's nothing better in this world than coming together to celebrate our differences and learn something new. 💖

Someday, if it gets popular I wanna get Multiverses of Doom dubbed on YouTube... only rule is that I get to voice Number 2 cuz I have a really specific headcanon voice for him lmao

Number 2 only removes his hood, the collar with his number, and all he was given in the zimvoid to bathe. Why is a reason only he knows, and only time will tell.

Some characters, particularly for one chapter of Multiverses of Doom I came up with a concept for I will only be leaving cryptic hints about, rather than actually explaining in detail.

I want this to be a nice plot twist for all of you, once it gets to that point.

This is not something that will be coming anytime soon but are songs I came up with for quite distant chapters I have concepts for. With that said, I try to share all of my concepts with you in a way that is spoiler-free so that you can have something to look forward to and give your opinions in real-time.

Forgive me if I get some of my lore wrong in Multiverses of Doom. I'm somewhat new to the official comics, so I'm trying to do as much research as I can.

I'm going to try to read the ones that are most important to the current story I'm working on, and if I do get something inaccurate, well... this is an alternate universe, isn't it? 😅 Maybe something interesting will come out of it?

So far, the name I've chosen for my AU is Invader Zim: The Multiverses of Doom, or IZMOD/IZMOD AU for short.
