i use they/them now! im ok with he/him too but mostly gender neutral pronouns going forward please :)

also yh it can be a bit spooky playing at first but honestly the game has skill based matchmaking so for the most part it should match you with players you can handle. if you're worried other players will be rude cause your new just mute your team(character select will give you the option but you can do it at any time via menus)

you can also mute teammate pings if they are using those to annoy you

but i don't think you need to play to enjoy the lore/make content

if you don't play a lot of shooters or just want any advice if you plan on playing hit me up, I've managed to go from taking like 4 months to get my first 100 kills to getting a 100 kills in like two days. I'm not Good at all, but it's possible to improve and have fun

oh one more thing, valentines day event is bringing back duo's! it's a great time to give the game a try, as a player with adhd and not a lot of shooter experience i found duo's mode way less stressful. if my teammate goes down i only have to take down 1 or 2 players not 3. (ok ill hush now lol)

I do play shooters semi-regularly (overwatch and paladins specifically) so i’m not exactly inexperienced with shooters, however ive always been really afraid of the battle royale format because I’m not that good with the strategy side of things and i always assumed battle royale games had a lot of those stuff involved 

mostly im just reading up on the legends’ skills and all that to prepare, but i guess i can check the game out when duos come out! something abt squad gameplay AND battle royale AND being responsible for your teammates when they die is scary at first sight but i guess being responsible for one less human might sweeten the deal :’)
