The Process..

It was the day after I found a personal #DearJane letter written to me..

#throwback-memory me and my moms finding a #DearJane letter from my dad in 97’ #DaddyKnows by Dave East 🎧

In that moment tears filled my eyes, it felt like my entire body was connected to heavy weights and pins and needles begin to penetrate my heart.

To make a long story short, it took me 21 days to get off my closet floor.

Another 21 days to get back in daily routine.

Then another 21 days to smile genuinely without forcing myself to be in present moment.

Now imagine the emotional trauma of a child burying memories that seem to haunt her.

Not at night, but at life..

Nah, not asking for sympathy or forgiveness.

I am who I was created to be,

the One and Only.

Yet, I’m considered #DaGenerousQueen for a reason.

When he says he only desires your heart bc the way you love him, it’s a forever vibe. Nice for what?..

How to identify people around you that actually pray you up or prey on your demons/demise.

Prey on your demons: speak on things, places and people to trigger shared wounds.

Pray you up: speak on things, places and people to spark a passion of fire to heal your shared wounds.

Prayer is not only a invocation, intercession, it’s an affirmation and it’s also a salutation.

I’ve heard so many people say “what happens in the dark, always come to the light.” I’m personally looking forward to the light. 🙌🏾

However, the part where the prey becomes the dessert 🧁 because intentional “energy” in that very moment becomes your god. #thatpart

Ever been so in love, that you were willing to give your life for it?

My friends use to think I was crazy when I said things like, my heart speaks to me. Well I’m sure I’m not the only one considering how many people give up on others. . . . Just because they can’t always get what they want. Only child syndrome. I’m thankful to #God that #Christ exist. I’m the preacher’s oldest, just a prayer request for this one.
