to be clear when it's not written in second person there is literally no chance of me interpreting y/n as me instead of an oc. y/n is simply a common girls' name in korea to me
#i mostly see y/n fics where its like 3rd/1st person for kpop and to be clear i am a wattpad user#ive read one direction fanfic since i was a whelp ive simply adapted to the changing times#8lah#1d fanfic tended to have the main girl have like. a name. kpop fanfic is like hi my name is y/n lee!!#not even y/n l/n you have to have a korean last name. you have to be korean now#but like. girl i am NOT reading a 1st person fic as though the first person is me#you are out of your mind.#tbh though i do read second person y/ns as an oc too but like. theres a chance ill try to read the fic as intended#any other POV Forget It
