ABOUT ARTFIGHT: I still plan to participate this year, at least as of right now. That being said it makes me very happy that people are actively questioning the new rules and some are even bringing old rules into question (I personally went to read through them again after the announcement, and the asset brushes and effort rules shocked me)

#null havoc damage #ive only been doing it for the last 3 years but idk artfight has never seemed to actually be about the competition #which is why all the rules about point strictness baffle me. who gives a fuck ...#are there truly people out there drawing stick figures and using stamps point farming to the point that you punish everyone else #the amateurs who can only post sketches on paper. the people who use devin kurtz' foliage pack or other brush packs like that #the people who are actually trying and enjoying the game far outnumber the people who just want to *win* at any cost #the point is to HAVE FUN and CREATE. let the jackasses stay mad. dont punish us for their nonsense #and for the love of god just add more content filters rather than trying to eliminate entire swaths of art when the definition is subjectiv #thats my stance on it all anyways
