I think another problem in DAI was not only the lack of content and focus for qunari and dwarf inquisitors, but also how the only times it finally does focus on their backstories it does the whole “but you’re not QUNari” or “not really a dwarf dwarf” kinda stuff

Adding to that, the whole ‘I’m not like OTHER ___’ has become such a common characterization. I’d love to get an Avvar companion who’s very close to their culture, for example. Gives room for meeting their not-estranged family, visiting their home, getting unique insight & dialogue, etc.

At the very least, gimme one human who’s ‘not like OTHER humans’ because they’re actually a goddamn darkspawn in disguise.
