its so funny how the admin said purgatory drama was a great way to get viewers to watch other ccs. it actually made me stop watching every other pov but bad's

no but this is so true. it did a little good in very specific communities, like the the tubbling-ghostie alliance, but i genuinely could not watch certain streamers for ages. still don't but that's because i'm not interested now and not because of residual anger from purgatory.

very happy i started watching bad to keep up with soulfire's pov though!

anyways still not sure whether that discord dm was regarding p1 or p2 (hearing mixed info) but regardless my thoughts on purgatory (and the elections) serving to fuel hate towards smaller ccs remains the same. im sure the admin team didnt want any type of vitriol (just in-lore drama) but they still really should have foreseen it because anyone could tell you that pitting big ccs against smaller ones was a recipe for disaster.

its crazy how i switched up completely afterwards, becoming so much more attached to q!tubbo and q!pac especially. i also had to cut back on watching qsmp in general (i didnt watch p2) and it was only bbh revisiting his soul vulture lore that actually got me back into my active liveblogging again.

anyways at least purgatory did confirm my thoughts that the mcyt fandom remains the same, regardless of the server. and that just can't really be fixed. but whatever. bad's gotten hate from smptwt for saying "muffin" and when thats our baseline, we can't really be shocked anymore ig.
