various theories ive had about one piece for A Long Time that im just waiting to be proven right/wrong on or dont know if well ever get to know

1. zunesha’s punishment of being sentenced to walk for eternity is made possible by whoever had the op op no mi, sacrificing their life to force this elephant to suffer forever (presumably for the crime of being joyboy’s companion)

2. fisher tiger ate the gomu gomu no mi (died 12 years ago, surrounded by marines who conveniently came into possession of the fruit. the fruit itself is of nika, the sun god, who is said would free the slaves/captives from bondage, which fisher tiger is known to have done and even made his crew the sun pirates. to my memory we never saw fisher tiger swimming. the timeline works out, biggest issue with this is that he was killed with bullets, wouldnt be surprised if they were seastone tho)

3. jewelry bonney is in fact the queen dowager conney of sorbet kingdom. she was able to pass as the queen of one of the limited countries allowed to the levely despite the presumably strict security. that would make her the mother(?) of kuma and would explain why she cried and was so disgusted about what was happening to him and why she she was looking for him (“i can’t believe i ran into him so soon...!”)

4. continuing off of jewelry bonney, shes been alive for centuries, changing her age and identity every time it suites her. definitely not since the void century, but maybe like 300 years. this is entirely based on the fact that anne bonny is listed as “disappeared” on her wiki page bc nobody knows when she died/what happened to her after she escaped her execution (if youre giving a character a name based on her and the ability to change their age at will, it seems like a fun path to explore)
