sinking into the pit of gender based despair see you guys in like a month
#rants#not to get Into It#but#feeling real despar at the notion that i’ll never truly be seen as a man in any meaningful way#unless i sacrifice things about my appearance that otherwise make me happy#ive grown out my hair for years but sometimes the scissors are tempting#if for no other reason than the fact that i’d never have to hear ‘you have a ponytail so you’re a woman’ ever again#if i were a cisgendered man and dressed the way i do i would get ‘oh he’s gay’ not ‘oh that’s a girl’#and it really eats me up inside sometimes
