god i hate the like. meme culture surrounding sonic. and im not saying that memeing on sonic is inherently bad i just hate that so many people only think of sonic as this meme character and dont even consider the fact that a lot of people genuinely love sonic.. like these people will treat every mention of sonic like its supposed to be a haha funny joke and will start referencing dumb sonic memes on like. fanart or cosplay that someone worked really hard on or serious character analysis posts and stuff like that. and you cant even mention certain characters or games or scenes without someone quoting the same unfunny and overdone jokes at you. idk where im going with this im just tired of sonic being seen as a meme thing and nothing more
