I’m hoping whoever decides on mvp actually thinks about how a player has an impact on their team, and they kinda like completely disregard the standings. the liberty , in last could have a player who is mvp-worthy, who adds something special for the team and the storm, in first place could have a player mvp-worthy who... doesn’t really contribute that much to the team. I just hope they really look into things beyond stats.

Same!! They’re looking at stats (mostly points too, which they need to realize isn’t the only thing that makes a player valuable) and they’re not looking at how much the team actually needs them.
