Just realising today’s going to be the last day that the lightning thief musical will be the best percy jackson adaptation
#im a tltmusical truther woahwoahwoah.#for a one-off musical trying to represent a FIVE BOOK SERIES (at least in terms of fan reactions to characters) they did so good#like they were so true to the plot of tlt and still showed us where the characters' arcs were to go had we been given the context of the#rest of the series (ie. 'good kid'/'try' gave us the best read on percy jackson as a character from ages 12#-17 in literally a total of 6 minutes. all of his motivations spelled out in song...#...same with annabeth's 'my grand plan' and endgame as architect of olympus#BUT I RANT IK THE FEEL OP#ive been dying for this moment and tltmusical did us so good for so long
