weirdly, out of everyone in the mechanisms, I have the MOST headcanons about the octokittens. THE FUCKING OCTOKITTENS. I just make up the most absurd things about them and I can't stop
#the mechanisms#octokittens#ive always imagined the octokittens as translucent#like just kind of clear. like a plastic bag color#and they feel like jello#all jiggly and squishy#but also slimy???#they also make crackling noises when they try to meow!!!#and I've always imagined them being very affected by the surrounding environment#an octokitten ate one of raph's magnets? great! it's magnetic now! and when it reproduces it's offspring will be magnetic too!#an octokitten ate paint? it's now paint colored! congratulations!#does this make any sense? no. I do not care!! the octokittens are absurd I love them
