I like it because Ruki and Yang’s relationship is among those ones I should treat more.Starting from when Yang is a child, I suppose Ruki will slowly develop a tender spot for our Chinese boy. During their first meetings, Yang will be scared by Ruki a lot. Since he has heard from Makoto about her short temper and her past as a Digimon Tamer, he’ll keep on stuttering so much he won’t even manage to introduce himself properly (Itsuki does that ahahah), and Ruki will immediately think he’s really lame, one of those kids who can’t even stand straight. However, she’ll change her mind, when she gets to know about Yang’s family’s situation: she’ll find herself thinking it’s too similar to hers and seeing Yang under a new light, since she does know what not having an united family is like. Therefore, she starts trying to talk to him more often, telling him about her past as a motorcrosser and pointing out he’s very nimble at riding his bycicle.“If only he was more impertinent and courageous, just like Makoto,” She would repeat herself so many times.Ruki won’t even manage to keep her mouth shut, whenever something related to his family comes up. Has his father really come to talk to Jen and Takato from who knows where after an eternal while? Her punch is ready, and she won’t care if Jen tries to stop her.-Su Wen: “I don’t know what to do! We have been looking for him since this morning. I just hope your children knows what’s happening…”Jen and Takato: “…”Ruki * stepping forward and glaring at him in a threatining way*: “Maybe finally he has realised what a filthy family he has got! Therefore, when he reaches high school, she begins giving him serious advices about the topic.Still during his teenage years, Ruki is the one who realises Yang may have developed a crush on her daughter, and this, so unlikely for her, makes her heart throb because of the joy, also because she is aware Itsuki won’t refuse him. Ruki appreciates how much Yang has given, when Itsuki’s coach dies; she feels safe, if they are together, even though it’s blatant Yang is shy and not so brave. Nevertheless, things go differently and Itsuki falls into the trick of beginning dating her ice skating partner. Ruki is upset by her, since she has always thought her daughter was a proud girl, and not one of those chics who fall in love with whoever could show them to be cool and strong. It’s heartbreaking for her to understand Yang is disappointed and down because of her own daughter, even though he really hasn’t properly figured out why he’s feeling in that way.Finally, it comes adulthood and, even though Yang has chosen to follow into his father’s footsteps, Ruki will willingly check his motorbike. Sometimes, she will also challenge him and would end up saying he would have been a great motorcrosser again. Once more, Ruki will find herself cheering her daughter up, whenever she struggles to convey her feelings to the young man, after having realized dating Daiki has been her biggest mistake. Ruki will try to explain her it’s not Yang’s fault if his heart isn’t used to receiving affection and that strong kind of love; what matters the most, she tells her, it’s not giving up and keeping on fighting proudly, regardless of the outcome. Every advice of hers and every conversation about love between mother and daughter will be hidden from Jenrya, of course (XD), until the announcement comes: Yang and Itsuki are going to get married and…Problems come. Firstly, they just start joking about getting married, and they already understand it’s not going to be easy judging by Jen’s reaction, which pisses Ruki A LOT. “He has run me! Your husband! He has run your husband! How could you forget about this?! Now we should really let him enter our family?!” Fortunately, like I said before, Ruki will convince him about the fact Yang is the best husband Itsuki could ever find, and, needless to tell you about this once more, Jen won’t be able to bring himself to hide his endless love for the fruit of their wedding.PSA: Lol at Jen asking Ruki he didn’t remember they had adopted a son, and Ruki giving him a slight punch like always. After all, it’s true Yang is the son she has never had.

Am I rude if I say Yang is so fucking hot as an adult? That chapter made me fall in love with him and the design drives me crazy. Who wouldn' t want a stud with a beard, who can ride motorbikes, who wears fucking military jackets, who 's a pilot and smokes?

I’m glad people like Yang’s older design but I never thought a person could find him hot ahahah.I don’t know what to say, Anon, as well as Yang, who’s more than speechless XD. It will be a pervert though of mine, but if I were Yang I would have got a crush on Ruki. She is a sex bomb mother and my fourteen/seventeen year old self would get crazy at a woman being so close to me. I would fucking wish I was older.

Anon, there’s a part of my being that’s laughing hard and it’s about to cry, because “wtf?!” However, another part of me supposes hormones can do lots of things to the brain of teenagers. Therefore, it won’t be so strange if he innocently gets a crush on her at some point, also because even these weird crushes help us grow.

Itsuki likes cats because Yang likes them. I want to underline this fact, because, you see, Itsuki is a big and huge bunny lover, instead XD. Anyway, Yang will stay a cat lover even when he’s a grown up, and will keep cats even when Itsuki and him get their own beautiful traditional house (Jen, you can cry as much as you want, but Itsuki won’t live with you two anymore).

Moreover, when they start living together, Yang will be able to keep his cats’ kittens too, without being forced to sell them like he used to do unwillingy, when he was younger.

I believe Itsuki and Yang will spend certain nights coming up with the names to give to the newly born kittens and, obviously, his names will always be defeated by Itsuki’s strange ones. The story will continue even when they’re parents and Yang gets so upset, discovering what silly names they have given to the cats.

Yay, finally a happy scenario and question! Let’s see…I totally think a cute and joyful scenario would be “Yang and Itsuki’s secret pastime”, which used to be “Yang’s and only Yang’s pastime”. You aready know Yang is a cat lover, right? He loves cats and he’s so glad at least his mother didn’t complain about getting a cat at their house; actually, the Wen family has always kept cats at home. However, the situation flew off hand, when Yang started rescuing stray cats from the streets of Beijing and then Tokyo: his mother could never accept one of her children always did something so humiliating-that was her opinion about what her son always did-. She already couldn’t stand listening to what their new neighbours said about his bold way to ride bycicles! Fortunately for the boy, the woman never discovered he kept his own blog thanks to which he managed to find kind owners for the poor kittens…And she could have never imagined Yang did sell them too, in the middle of the street, with his usual large hood covering his head not to be recognized. Nevertheless, nothing about Yang can be ignored by Itsuki, so she understood he didn’t only rescue those stray cats, but he also would try to sell them, whenever the blog didn’t show itself useful.Obviously, the girl began repeating how Yang was so pure, gentle, a boy from past times…And eventually she convinced Yang to let her help him sell the kittens, even if it was raining and there were storms roaring in the sky. Furthermore, Itsuki was “the more active” one between them and she kept on attempting to persuade some passer-by: she cared about the kittens and she wanted them to be treated with love by a true family. Maybe, it was during those days that Yang understood the value of smiles.

Makoto can be Asuka or Toji because he’s so proud and tsundere (Makoto is a big tsundere). Who can older Makoto be, though? Hyouga that’s called Makoto too or Ritsuko?

Itsuki is Misato for sure. I can also see her interacting with the new little Tear Jumpers. She’d be a good guardian.

Now Yang: Yang is Shinji. You can’t tell me he isn’t Shinji. He also has got a bad relationship with his father (I’m looking forward to reading about them ;-). Then his older self is Kaji, but also Misato! He’s a mix between the two, even though I adore comparing Itsuyang to Kajisato.

Atsuko: Atsuko is Hikari, no doubt about that.

Say Miss Zura, what would be the saddest Yang x Itsuki scenario you could ever come up with?

This is pretty difficult, Anon, you’ve got me, but it makes me remember of a silly scenario I invented, when I was a bit younger and I was enchanted by the idea of making Jenrya and Ruki’s child a sort of magical girl (I was in love with anime like “Madoka Magica” or “Pretty Cure” at that time). Basically, during those times Tear Jumpers weren’t even in my brain, I wanted to write about an Itsuki, who’s totally unaware about Digimon, since her parents never talk about them; she just knows about these legendary Digimon Tamers her classmates often talks about. Then, after a while, when she’s maybe 10 or 12, while she’s coming back home, she meets Terriermon, which doesn’t know she’s his former partner’s daughter. So,Itsuki and Terriermon starts meeting everyday at the Shinjuku Park. Sometimes she will bring Terriermon some onigiri and share some information about their very different lives. Their meetings are peaceful and joyful, until they find themselves into a very dangerous situations. Itsuki doesn’t really know what to do, how to fight against a Digimon and a very evil human (I don’t remember if I wanted the humans to make Digimon evil or viceversa), and Terriermon realises they are finished. Unfortunately, the girl and the Digimon are dragged into a frozen lake or something like that, and they would have obviously died, if Renamon’s soul (Renamon didn’t manage to come back from Digiworld) hadn’t saved them and hadn’t given Itsuki a bit of her power, letting her survive. This is how Itsuki gains the ability of turning herself into her older self (and she’s very startled) and decides to dress up as a Sakuyamon in the middle of the night, using her new strength along with Terriermon to defeat those possessed folks.What is the sad scenario? Well, premising Atsuko and Makoto are still her classmates, she meets Yang, who is an adult in this world (yeah, yeah, Anon, an adult, along with Naomi and Kou) and is an universitary student, who’s also trying to find out information about those strange accidents that are happening in Tokyo. Since I love making Yang’s life a Heaven, in this world (let’s say fucked up AU) he is very unlucky with women and, as you can imagine, he will also be unlucky with this awesome, clumsy and mysterious woman who always helps him during nights and he eventually falls in love with. Yeah, I don’t know how his heart would be spared, since Itsuki is a child in truth.

It’s also so sweet the way he would like to be Daiki just to be with his Lee-Kun a bit . Yang must really suffer when Itsuki tells him her and Daiki gmhave cuddled all the night long. AND THE END! Yang is so desperate! Ehy, Zura, why don’t you write about them in the teenager one-shot? It would be great reading about these two growing up.

After all, you love Itsuyang, so why not.By the way, firstly high schooler Yang will unconsciounsly suffer because suddenly Lee-Kun doesn’t pay attention to him anymore. He does notice something has changed between them, as he doesn’t receive texts by her at midnight, or she doesn’t spend as much time as they used to spend when they were younger. She’s always with Daiki and this makes him quite sad, as they had managed to create their own world of things to do during weeks, and now everything seems to have been destroyed.Then, when they grow up, the sadness becomes annoyance and even bigger and deeper sadness. He slowly begins noticing her laughs are always adressed to Daiki; her eyes shine only because Daiki is there…Yeah, he ends up wishing he could become that hunk of Daiki even just for one night, just to be able to keep her as close to him as he can, and get the love he has been seeking for at least.

Anyway, like I said before, I agree with you; even though I love drama (Killa-Senpai, thank you…), I don’t want these kids to be sad and unhappy.Nevertheless, Anon, I must reveal to you that Yang’s life is still unlucky, even if he finds himself in happy situations.

Obviously, the funny scenario I’m going to talk about is rapresented by their dates, and I also have to admit that, whenever I listen to one of my favourite songs, “Something stupid” by Frank Sinatra, I will eventually get these Itsuyang vibes, as that song sounds like if it’s really talking about them.

Let’s premise that Yang starts having a crush on Itsuki when he’s in high school, after having had a crush on Aoki Naomi for a year during middle school. At the beginning, he doesn’t even know what the hell is happening to him; why does he blush and feel his heart beating so fast, whenever he meets her? Why didn’t he feel like that when he was younger? Yeah, sometimes he can be even denser than Makoto, especially when it comes to Itsuki, as they have been friends since they were kids. After a while, he gets to realise he may have got a crush on her, but there are too many impediments in his opinion (Makoto is still in love with Itsuki, despite being engaged to Atsuko, isn’t he?). Therefore, he begins trying to forget about this feeling >, not succeding, though, because in the middle of a mission Itsuki kisses him and pushes him to give up. Still during their high school years, Itsuki asks him if he would like to go to a party with her.“Neh, Yang-Chan, I’m all alone, you know, and it’s so embarassing! I mean, I really care about being with those girls, but they all have got some boy to stay with! Please, Yang-Chan, pretty please?”Despite him accepting to join the party, they end up not going there and spending a night together; a sort of date, in nutshell, because they are also wearing a dress and a suit that fit the occasion XD. Obviously, Yang is as stiff as a trunk; indeed, he has been like that since they met to go to the party. He can’t figure out how to behave and understand if it’s in these cases boys confess to girls; he also wants to ask her why she had kissed him back then. Unfortunately for him, however, he discovers Itsuki has got a crush on her ice skating partner and, just when he is about to tell her about how he has been feeling lately, Itsuki receives that boy’s call and Yang is cut short, stockstill on a bench (I feel so bad for him).“Hm, Lee-Kun…I may…I mean, it’s so weird for me to say this but…Argh, I may…”“Sorry, Yang, I can’t refuse this one. It’s Daiki-Chan!”(He does notice she will stop adressing to him, using the Chan >, whenever that Daiki abruptly enters their conversations).

The years pass by and, even though Itsuki and Daiki are engaged, I like thinking that, whenever they split up, Itsuki will hang out with Yang (if he’s in Tokyo) like they used to do when they were teenagers. On the other hand, Yang is even more in love with her, despite switching to a woman to another one, failing miserably. Moreover, he will feel his heart breaking into pieces, whenever she tells him about what Daiki and her did before quarreling, because he would have liked to be in the young man’s place with all his might. He also becomes extremely convinced Karma is punishing him somehow. When she kissed him during that mission, he shouldn’t have stood still; he should have acted! Therefore, this one is his punishment: not being able to get what you refused in the past, but you want now in the present.After so many arguments, Itsuki definitely leaves Daiki and the first thing she knows she is about to do is asking Yang out, as she feels like if he’s the only person with whom she can be who she really is. You have no idea how crazy Yang becomes, when he hears the news. He finally has got his chance, but he can’t make up his mind. Should he drink so much to become the most brilliant man Itsuki has ever met? Should he learn to heart random mushy lines taken from some ancient book? An only glance at himself in the mirror drags him into the abyss of desperation. How could a beautiful woman like Itsuki fall for someone like him, after having been with that hunk of Daiki? In his opinion, she would even invent an excuse, after having discovered what he has become; still in his opinion, he has begun to look like a goat, thanks to the little beard he’s been growing. He starts wondering how he has been able to give Makoto love advices until that moment.This is how Itsuki and Yang begin going out very often, some times having long walks, some other times buying something to eat on his motocycle; occasionally they will also go to some disco, but during those nights Yang will feel like if he has really turned into a goat, looking at how many hot men are waiting for Itsuki out there. Actually, the whole night may also end up with Itsuki meeting some stranger, who’s so handsome that Yang’s beloved type of cocktail starts tasting like weed in his mouth; those strangers are so tall and have got such a well-defined body, while he’s very thin and quite short. Whenever that happens, he will begin rambling about the beautiful woman Itsuki has become, and he will bring himself to admit he doesn’t deserve her.Nevertheless, there are several gestures of hers, some bright smiles and laughs that tell him he shouldn’t give up, and that pushes poor Yang to pratice talking and kissing in front of the mirror. It has become so difficult going out with her and not making everything look ordinary. She’s so special, so she can’t receive and do ordinary things, as well as she can’t hear ordinary lines. Furthermore, before his eyes she is becoming more and more beautiful as the days pass by .He will try confessing for so many times, but he already understands a night is going to be badly from the beginning, since, for example, he has accidentally greeted her like if she is a first pilot. Will he conquer Itsuki’s heart? Will he restore Itsuki’s childish crush for him? Well, Itsuki has never stopped having a crush on Yang so, when he attempts to confess for the nth time cursing his shy personality, and hugs her desperately because he needs to have a woman like her at his side and to feel her smooth body pressed against his, Itsuki will obviously ends up saying “I love you too”.

It doesn’t matter how much time he has spent praticing to get the meaning come true, quoting Sinatra XD.

ZURAAAAAA WTF. WTF! Wtf is that wonderful idea/ Au?! Do you understandyour mind is full of gold? Ahi tell us more about this Au, please! I’m a magical girl fan too, and knowing yor original ideas is the best thing it could happen.I’ve always desidered a story like this existed, because it sounds like “Relife” a bit. I’m crying for Yang and also let me cry about how cool your ideas are too. It’s an interesting view on your Itsuki and Yang.

You know, Martine, I have got so many sad scenarios for them, but I don’t want to make their life a hell. For example, I also had the idea of making Yang leave for China again when they are kids, and making adult Itsuki anwoman whi always tells her student about her first love she hasn’t seen for ages.BUT NO, my kids don’t deserve this, Martine. They deserve happiness and love. The magical girl scenairo is so, so unhappy for Yang, and I don’t even want to talk about it, also because I can’t remember it precisely.

Are there any songs you think they fit your Tesr Jumpers?

Uff, Anon, this is really complex XD! I’m not so sure about this post, but I‘m picking these songs this time.

Makoto: “Haruka” by Lacco Tower. This is one of the many “Dragonball” endings, and I think it would fit a teenager Makoto so much, because Makoto will suffer a lot when the Tear Jumpers take their own roads and part from their team. Makoto cares so much about their friendship he can’t wait for them to finish university. Don’t worry, pal, they’ll meet during university breaks sometimes.

Itsuki: I’m not joking when I say I would like to link her to “History Maker” by Dean Fujioka (everyone knows what anime this song belongs to…). Nevertheless, I prefer “Eternal snow” by Changin’ my life (an ending from “Fullmoon wo Sagashite!”), since it is full of the grace she carries whenever she skates on the ice. Moreover, I dare to add “New future” too, which is still sung by Changin’ my life. Finally, there’s also “Star” by 99Radioservice because Chihaya from “Chihaya furu” is totally Itsuki.

Yang: Our shy boy is perfect for “Lost in blue” by Nightmare, I have no doubts. It’s philosophical just like him, and somehow it really fits Yang’s wish to be free and fly, disappearing in the highest sky that has ever existed. Then, I could also connect him to “Innocence” by Aoi Eir, such a beautiful song for him, that is about the desire to soar the skies.

Atsuko: “Go my way” from “The Idolm@ster”. I remember of a video featuring May singing and dancing this song. I can clearly see Atsuko doing the same.

Bonus:Atsumako: Besides “Tale as old as time” ahahahah? “Fairytale of Mysterious tree” (an unknown and underrated song XD) by Shironeko. It’s pure just like Atsuko doesn’t want to be, but ends up acting like that whenever Makoto is near to her XD.

ItsuYang: Uhhh, “Kimagure romantic” maybe, because it is as lively as Itsuki and it feels like the song of a romantic com XD (talking about romantic coms, Yang and Itsuki scream the vibes of “Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki Kun”’s opening ahahah). Furthermore, I can’t help but choose “Bouken desho desho?” by Aya Hirano, and “Home” by May’N , since I’m in love with this song and it’s adorable thinking Itsuki would do everything to convince Yang he can call everything that’s related to her “home”.

In the end for the whole team, let’s switch from happy, dinamic songs to a melancholy, seeet one. So, firstly, “Hanate”, “Dive”, “Gatchen” (Yugioh” and “Digimon Universe”’s openings), which are very catchy. Secondly, “Jikan Ryokou” by Ann Sally, from the game “The Professor Layton and the unwound future”, because it would be beautiful at the end of their “youth” and the beginning of their real lives.

While I was watching DDIF an idea killed my mind and stomach: Makoto and Yang go to Notth Pole together along with Lee and Masahiko. Ohohoh

I can just imagine Makoto telling Yang, “Hey, buddy, we are going to the North Pole tomorrow”, and Yang is completely against it, because he can’t stand the cold and he surely prefers staying under his warm blankets to recover every night he has spent awake. However, what a pity for him that everything has been already planned and settled, and he can’t do anything but complaining and whimpering, when he realizes he has no hope.

And this is how they leave for the North Pole and Yang is dressed as a sort of snowman, wearing very heavy jackets and big warm hats and scarves almost completely covering his face. If they went there by a private submarine or a boat, Makoto would sweatdrop at the sight of Yang relaxing on a comfortable seat surrounded by warm air, some water heaters, and why not a radiator too.

Then, when the trip has finally finished, Yang says something like, “Now it’s high time I left for Africa”, and I think he will keep his word, since it’s one of his dreams going to that majestic place that’s meant to be explored.

(Itsuki doesn’t agree too much. She hates thinking about Yang getting some strange illness. Itsuki, we aren’t in a novel by Hemingway, c'mon girl!).
