Our favorite astrophysicist, @neildegrassetyson walked us through the Dark Universe. Truly mind blowing. The best planetarium show we’ve ever seen. TL;DR: Read the meme. I used to work for a small company that was purchased by a global corporation. When our team merged with theirs, a young woman took the initiative, all on her own, to implement and train our unit on some of their automated procedures. I nominated her for a company-wide \"teamwork\" award that came with a nice cash bonus. She won, and came to me with tears in her eyes explaining that she had called her mom in Russia to read my nomination letter (about how welcoming and thoughtful she is) and they both cried together over the phone. Eventually I left an executive role to work freelance and spend time with my kids. Now, 10ish years later, after some time off, I was looking to get back to my freelance work again and contacted someone I knew at a different company. Turns out my young Russian friend is now an executive vice president there! I go in to interview with her and she says I\'m her #1 choice of three freelancers working with them (meaning I get right of first refusal to new projects) even though I\'m also the most expensive. I\'ve already got three new projects in the past couple of weeks! At my original company I also worked with a completely selfish, undermining, evil being. It\'s always bothered me that she has continued to enjoy upward mobility in her career by putting on a show for the right people in charge - and treating everyone else like #&@$. I now see that I\'ve been wasting brainspace waiting for bad things to happen to bad people (although that would be so satisfying). Really I should be watching for, and appreciating, the amazing things that happen to people who spread kindness. One of my good friends lives by the motto \"kindness inspires kindness\". It\'s so true. Be kind, imgurians!
