ok besties, i'm planning to make a major arcana tarot card collection for the THG, but I need some help because 1. i'm kinda stumped and 2. I havent finished TBOSAS so maybe area i'm missing have characters that suit them well. Anyway I'd love some feed back to bounce some ideas around. I don't mind if some characters are used more than once, but Im trying to limit to 2 cards per character.

The Fool (Beginnings, innocence, spontaneity, a free spirit); Effie Trinket. The unaware, optimistic character of the fool, feels fitting for Effie. As for most of the series, she goes around somewhat unaware of the hurdles and dangers that lie before her towards the end of the trilogy.

The Magician (Manifestation, resourcefulness, power, inspired action): Cinna (and Portia??). The magician manifests his goals into the real world. This feels self explanitory.

High Priestess: (Intuition, sacred knowledge, divine feminine, the subconscious mind) UNDECIDED. But I am leaning towards either Mrs. Everdeen or Finnick Odair. The High Priestess provides deep intuitive understanding  and awareness via hidden/secret information. These are the two characters that a lowkey guide us throught Katniss' inner state. Finnick does it more openingly in the story, but its through her mother and her failings that we true see and understand Katniss' character.

The Hierophant: (Spiritual wisdom, religious beliefs, conformity, tradition,institutions) UNDECIDED. But maybe Plutarch or Caeser Flickerman? As they both have a hand in imparting knowledge (from a higher authority) to the people via their platform. Oh maybe I can use them post. One to represent the Heirophant upright, and the other to represent it do downright. Reversed, it represents Personal beliefs, freedom, challenging the status quo, which I think aligns more with Plutarch.

The Empress: (Femininity, beauty, nature, nurturing, abundance) UNDECIDED. I'm so torn. This feels like a good fit for Katniss, BUT I already have plans for her in the other cards and I want other characters to have representation. My other picks are Lucy Gray and Prim/Rue, but like I said I haven't finished TBOSAS yet. lol

The Emperor: (Authority, establishment, structure, a father figure) It's Snow. lmao

Lovers: (Love, harmony, relationships, values alignment, choices) Of course. It's Everlark

The Chariot: ( Control, willpower, success, action, determination) Alma Coin. Feels very fitting considers that the rebels one and she tried to take full control afterwards.

Strength: (Strength, courage, persuasion, influence, compassion) Prim and Rue? But Johanna feels like a good fit too.

Hermit: (Soul-searching, introspection, being alone, inner guidance) Haymitch Abernathy ))))):

Wheel of Fortune: The reaping bowl.

Justice: Gale Hawthorne

The Hanged Man: (Pause, surrender, letting go, new perspectives) UNDECIDED. I'm kinda torn between Peeta, Prim, Johanna and Cinna for this. The Hanged Man is the card of ultimate surrender, martydom and sacrifice for the greater good. Katniss would also be a good pick too.

Death: (Endings, change, transformation, transition) 74th Games bloodbath?

Temperance: (Balance, moderation, patience, purpose) Finnick Odair. The Temperance card is stabilize you with patience and moderation, not force or resistance. It's fitting for a character who was helping Katniss ground herself during Mockingjay.

The Devil: (Shadow self, attachment, addiction, restriction, sexuality) MJ Johanna feels fitting for this. Not because she's the evil, but because she's kind of represents the dark and more negative side of Katniss. As she engages in Katniss' worst habits, such as anger and isolation. And would choose short term gratification and the expense of long term prosperity. But Snow (as the symbol of the capitol) would fit as well. Which is like duuuuh

The Tower: (Sudden change, upheaval, chaos, revelation, awakening) Blowing up the 75th Arena or maybe the Capitol bombs??

Star: (Hope, faith, purpose, renewal, spirituality) It's the boy with the bread! Peeta. Originally I was going to give him the Sun, but I felt like Primrose fit better over there. The star brings hope, love and purpose after great turmoil and challenges. And its fitting that Katniss' lover is the star in the sky that guides her.

The Moon: (Illusion, fear, anxiety, subconscious, intuition) Katniss! This is Katniss. All her main motivations in the story are fueled by these factors.

The Sun: (Positivity, fun, warmth, success, vitality) Primrose. The sun card radiates optimism and positivity. Which is fitting for someone who brings so much warmth into Katniss' life.

Judgement: The Mockingjay

The World: (Completion, integration, accomplishment, travel) Toast Babies. Children and children death and suffering. Are the core subjects of the book. The toast babies exists represent the wholeness and achieve of everyone Katniss and the rest of Panem has to suffer to end the games.

Dice: Sun, 9th House, Virgo

Dynamic of the group as a whole: 9 of Swords Reversed, The Emperor, Page of Cups, 2 of Wands Reversed, 6 of Cups, Queen of Wands

I think this group is one that is very cohesive. There is a good blend of seriousness and professionalism with sweetness and playfulness. It’s like they work hard and play even harder. They’re also very protective over each other and the group itself, it seems like they’ve been through stressful situations together and have been able to work through it and grow as a group. I think they’re all very good at nurturing freedom and creativity in each other. It’s interesting because they’ve been together for a long time but their dynamic still seems youthful and fresh. I think they’re all able to balance their energies really well together. They also deeply care about one another and this makes their bond even stronger. They may be being held back in some way? It’s like there is something that is not allowing them to grow, but it seems to come from the outside world, not from within the group. Im not getting clarity on it but it seems important to state.

Each Member’s Energy:

I think he brings stability and structure to the group. He seems like he’s able to detach his personal feelings from his responsibilities. This allows him to get a lot of things done well, but it may also bring him too much stress. He may feel like he has too much on his plate at times, and me may often wish things were different. I think he may be a little discontent with his position in the group, but he’s also devoted to it. Although he may find it a bit boring?

Seonghwa: 5 of Cups Reversed, 5 of Coins Reversed, 10 of Wands, The Devil, The Chariot, 8 of Swords, Knight of Cups

I think He feels like being in the group has helped him better himself. He may have dealt/ be dealing with bad habits or issues that he’s trying to overcome. For some reason I’m hearing “the busier I am the better” so he may rely on the activities of the group to stabilize himself and keep himself on the right path. I think he’s seen that he need to be proactive in healing himself and being with the others gives him the strength to do it. I wont pry as to what exactly he’s dealing with as there is no need really, but the other’s give him a lot of strength and support and he really loves that.

Wooyoung: King of Wands Reversed, 10 of Coins, 7 of Wands, 5 of Swords

Why do I feel like he is defensive? It’s like he’s protecting or defending the group from a negative external authority or power. I think he may feel like he needs to be the one who advocates and stands for the group. I’m getting the group has dealt with this a lot, but wooyoung seems to be the one who takes the strongest stand against it. He likes being the one who protects the others? Is what I’m getting here.

Hongjoong: The Tower, The Hierophant, The Sun, 7 of Swords, 4 of Swords Reversed

He loves it, being with the group gives him a sense of purpose and drive, and he likes being part of group dynamics and working as a team. It also seems like he’s another person who is protective. He may feel burnt out, and also feels like he needs to play a nurturing role within the group. He may feel like he needs to do this in order to avoid disaster or heal from past disasters. He may feel like he needs to nourish the others, and protect them from sneaky and underhanded energies around them.

Yeosang: Page of Wands, 3 of Coins Reversed, 2 of Cups, 7 of Coins

He may want to be able to do something on his own. I’m seeing he does like to work in the group, but he also has his own ideas and ambitions and may feel like he can’t break out and do exactly what he wants to do. He may want to do both at once and its difficult for him to do so. I see he may feel like he’s enjoying the harvest of his hard work with the group, but he’s ready for a new adventure although he may not have any plans set in stone. Still figuring out what he wants to do.

Mingi: 4 of Coins, Justice, The Empress, 2 of Coins

Another person who feels protective over the group. Is this a common theme with them? I think Mingi may play the main role of nurturing and sweet person. He’s the soft place to land for the group, someone who they can confide in and speak about their issues with. I think he’s the second most fiercely protective of the group, he may speak out in their favor a lot and organize ways to better help each other. He’s really good at balancing the things he needs to do as well. Overall he’s very very strong and capable of taking care of others, i think it comes naturally to him.

Yunho: Queen of Pentacles Reversed, 8 of Coins Reversed, The Star, The Lovers

He may be a bit distracted? Or he seems like he’s not focused on work at the moment. Overall he’s very happy within the group. He may play the role of mediator, or is someone who is easy to get along with and brings a lot of harmony to their dynamic. He may just be the chillest one in here lol. He may oftentimes be a little lazy and need encouragement from the others lol. He may also be the happiest in the group, and it kinda rubs off on the others as well. He’s like the one who starts the party basically .

Jongho: Death, 3 of Cups, 8 of Wands, 7 of Cups

He has the most youthful energy, he’s also the most active out of all the others. He may be overwhelmed by this actually, like hr has a lot to get done and a lot of things to be aware of. I also think he’s very lighthearted and likes to hang out/party with the others. It seems the last two of the group are the moodmakers of the dynamic haha. They’re the ones who lighten stuff up when it needs to be. I think he’s someone who is able to move quickly through life, and he may energize other members because of this. It’s like they admire how much he’s able to balance and take care of.

I think this group has a very lighthearted energy, so there wasn’t that much to go into depth for haha. It’s a great energy to be in, most of their issues seem to come from outside the dynamic/ other people around them so there was mostly good energy here! xxx

HE DOES NOT KNOW hehehe this is fun to think about, though. gonna do a little mini fic- I'm not a great writer but this is gonna be a little too long for me to do a comic

Danny had been in the upstairs area of the shop all day. He had moments like this, where it would all get to be too much, and Asra would take over for the day. He didn't mind, of course.

The day went along as normal, giving people their tarot readings, offering them protection spells, selling them rare herbs, stuff like that. It was just getting to be closing time when a very unexpected customer came from downstairs.

"I think I might be The Devil." Danny's voice was blunt, as it often was.

Asra looked up at him curiously. "Oh, you think so? That's funny... last I checked The Devil was petrified and covered in chains in another realm of existence." He teased, with that mischievous smile of his.

The man shook his head and left the doorway of the stairs. Fidgeting nervously with his rings. "I worded that wrong. What I meant was, I think he's my patron.  Like with you and The Magician. Think about it, why am *I* the only one that can break his chains. That's The Devil's power, remember? Why do I share that... the same way Nadia shares her intuition with The High Priestess. It just doesn't make sense. But that's not all-" He was pacing, struggling to articulate what he was getting at. He opened his mouth, shook his head, and spoke again. "He said we were similar. Remember? I do. It's been bothering me. He said we're the same, we tie others fates to our own. Except... his subjects know who holds the chains," He was running his fingers through his hair, now. Pacing. He couldn't look Asra in the eyes, it was clear he was getting worked up. "I mean... Are we really friends? Or am I just trapping you here and I don't even realize it, I could be manipulating you and I don't even-"

"Hmm." Asra had let this go on long enough. "He could've been bluffing, of course..."

"Arcana can't lie. Remember? You said that."

"They can twist words," they offered, "But, if you're so sure... Why don't you have a seat." Asra gestured to the booth at the back of the shop and locked the front door. He did not want to be disturbed for this.

Once they were settled in the back of the shop, curtains drawn, candles lit, Asra pulled out his deck. He shuffled as he spoke.

"The Devil is not an inherently malicious card. Like any card, it has its good and bad associations. " He separated the deck into three piles. "It can represent being trapped just as much as it can represent freedom. It's all about the context. What it means *to you*, in that moment, in that reading." He picked up one of the piles and spread it out on the table. His usual theatrics were not present, that was just for the customers. "Go ahead and pick three for me."

Danny did as he was told. Soon the three cards were laid out on the table.

Asra overturned the first card. Temperance, reversed. "Temperance can easily become dissatisfaction..." The second card. Justice, reversed. "Justice can easily become corruption..." and finally, The Fool, reversed "and adventure... can quickly turn into endless self indulgence." He has an especially bitter tone with that last card.

"Everything contains multitudes," Asra concludes, "We as humans are infinitely complex. Every day we wake up and we have the choice to do anything..." He pauses. "You wake up every day and decide to be good. That's more than I can say for... others." He swipes the three cards and shuffles them back into the deck.

Danny takes all this in. He had been watching intently this whole time, trying to understand what Asra was getting at. He's too busy thinking to speak.

"Why don't you go ahead and pick one more for me?" Asra offers him the deck, snapping him out of his trance by addressing him directly.

Danny picks up the card. Turns it over so that only he can see. The Devil, Upright.

"Justice can become corruption. Temperance, dissatisfaction. And sometimes... The Devil is the one to free us all." Asra smiles softly as he takes the card from Danny and mixes it back into the deck, never looking at it. "Do you understand, now?"

Danny had been silent for much of the reading, and that did not change, now. He nodded in response, his head whirring. It had put some of his fears to rest, anyway.

"And, for the record, I happen to LIKE being around you."

NATO is a defensive military alliance. Its expansion is only a threat to Russia if we believe Russia reserves the right to wage war and invade any nation whenever it wants without consequence.

NATO is a military alliance that only exists to fight Russia. It has an agreement with Russia that several states, including Ukraine, will be neutral buffer states between Russia and the NATO countries. Keep that in mind, and let's step back from the "Russia is the devil and must be destroyed" mindset and think about this.

Now, I hate hypotheticals, but just for a moment let's pretend China and the East Asian nations have a similar alliance to NATO. It was formed to stop American influence in East Asia. China is our biggest economic enemy, and yet we depend on them for way too many of our daily necessities. Hawaii, which used to be part of the United States, is now an independent nation. It has been for about 30 years now, and at just around the time it went independent, this Chinese NATO equivalent signed an agreement that Hawaii would serve as a buffer state between the US and Chinese NATO. For 30 years, nothing changed. But now, Hawaii has a new government. This government aggressively wants to join Chinese NATO. And Chinese NATO, despite agreeing not to expand this close to our borders, is very receptive to the idea. Oh, and by the way, China has a new leader that's spent the last 6 or so years demonizing our country and our people as the embodiment of evil, but has also shows a disturbing tendency towards dementia and being a puppet for shadowy internal factions that may or may not be looking for an excuse to start a new war after the last one finally ended after 20 years.

Now think about how close Hawaii is to the continental US. Do you want Chinese troops and Chinese missiles that close to our land? Do you want China's sphere of influence to come even closer to us than it already is? We've warred with Mexico in the past. What if Chinese NATO accepts overtures from them after letting Hawaii in? Think about those questions and then realize that Ukraine is much closer to Russia than Hawaii is to the continental US. That the rest of the buffer states are also very close to Russia's borders and have very good reasons to hate and fear Russia. How can someone like Putin not see Ukraine joining the anti-Russia military alliance as a threat? How could we, if the situation was reversed and China began creeping ever closer to our borders?

Now, I'm not saying Putin was right to invade. He's definitely in the wrong, and I do hope that the Ukrainian people win the war and keep their freedom from foreign occupation. But if we know that Putin is looking for excuses to expand Russia's borders, why are we giving him one by considering expanding NATO closer to Russia's borders in direct violation of NATO's agreement with Russia? What possible advantage does that serve, aside from antagonizing a nuclear power with an aging dictator at the helm? Why is NATO giving him the exact excuse he wants to invade Ukraine?

Apparently this life in reverse is much like the Narnia Chronicles where we start out in a wintry landscape, which remains cold & sullen in perpetuity due to the curse placed on the entire world.

You may prefer Winter to Summer at this point in the global state of affairs, however, don't forget that during wintertime not much can grow—so despite the respite from the heatwaves & forest fires, it is an apt symbol for death & darkness bc depression & listlessness sets in when the days are shortened. But more importantly, in the Bible, being enshrouded in darkness is shorthand for saying we have been rendered incapable of appreciating GOD or any of HIS life saving truths—which are encoded into everything we see/hear/taste/smell/feel. We know HE exists but we will naturally assume HE only wants to do us harm, hence our natural aversion to all things overtly GOD.

Today I learned this is how our hope in GOD gets sparked, the same way Moses' eyes caught sight of the burning bush under the heavy cloak of night—he is beckoned irresistibly toward this impossible light. Something which has guided him & his people through the most unrelentingly deadly landscape, where it doesn't pay to be the smallest clan in the world. Another marker demonstrating GOD's favour on HIS people is the obvious protection HE provides them; something the devil gripes about when asked to consider Job.

So unlike the rest of the world which starts out in daylight, a life full of hopes & dreams, unbelievers only move in one direction toward death & decay & total darkness & annihilation [i.e. sunset years].

Cosmically speaking, GOD's chosen ppl's lives start at its worst possible tilt—but then HE moves us progressively toward a brighter future with HIM at the helm of our lives, something HE coaxes us to in conjunction with a tight knit relational communion with HIM.

It has been said that our dysfunctional quirks like introversion & obsessions/addictions stem from the spiritual corruption of sin, where our propensity towards these traits/habits are killing us on every level; meaning we are all serving out a death sentence despite being given seeming freedom, we are enslaved to our inner bent. So in reality, we are all individually standing on a one-way conveyor belt to being stamped with our time of death, and this fact makes us realize that our existence is both pointless & tragic; where we can never truly go from being downcast toward a progressively more lasting joyful disposition.

Our existential angst either gets buried by our incessant need to find a solution to avoid this outcome, or to become less aware of the impending demise we know we are desperate to not deserve.

I think that is why Christmas is such an important holiday, the day the world was given it's ray of hope to escaping utter destruction; and why my childhood was filled with movies depicting alien invasions that pitted the entire world against a super intelligent force that is both unstoppable & incomprehensible to the human race.

But as I have already mentioned before, I've only recently begun to trust this alien superpower, known as GOD, WHO enters my life in ways I have not always fully understood whether HIS intentions were for my good or not. I admit I still from time to time pull out whatever arsenal I have with me to either hurt HIM or try to wipe HIM out entirely so I do not have to comply with whatever HE asks of me.

The problem with that is, when I do I inevitably re-enter some version of the gloom when I never had HIS light shining & leading towards this incredible promise of a hope filled future w/ endless possibilities.

It's like the most important person in the world has befriended us & suddenly we don't feel our life is a repetitive act of futility and thus a complete waste of our time. That was the key take away from the other day:

It's not the fact that anything has changed in our lives, we did nothing to achieve/earn HIS attention/care, and yet somehow we sense that something has ever so slightly shifted us out of the appalling outlook we had on life.

Some days HIS Presence seems barely noticeable, on other days markedly in the same room; but most astonishingly HE never leaves us to stew on our own for too long, despite being at our worst most days. I guess this is how it has to be, in order to break any possible mistaken link we may draw from the world & permanently degenerate toward idolizing created things—rather than growing in worshipful adoration of GOD, for HIS mercy & grace to redeem us from our darkened & hopeless existence. This base level giving glory to another, s/t GOD vowed HE would never allow HIS ppl to do in Isaiah 42:8.

Likely what David learned by the time he wrote: "Against YOU, and YOU alone, have I sinned" [Psalm 51:4]

I think most of us has heard the revulsion preachers have had over David failing to regret his vile acts against Bathsheba/Uriah & their extended family; when they clearly suffered irreparable damage under his misguided desire to "have his cake & eat it too."

Meaning possession of said item is lost the moment it is consumed—losing something we can't replace is priceless, we have forever lost it. And I think that is what was being communicated to me earlier this morning, as I was listening to a recording about how we react or treat others is essentially what we are doing to ourselves bc we all are linked together through GOD. And rn I can't truly quite see the link bc it sounds a lot like Buddhism, which has this concept of achieving Enlightenment as being likened to becoming a drop of water that is being absorbed back into this heavenly oceanic end.

But this concept feels undeniably abstract to me, like they don't really go together but out of convenience we have jammed it in the same junk drawer as all the other things that have cluttered our lives full of misfits we've come across & rendered us incapable of knowing what else to do with it.

The closest I can come to, this idea that we hurt/help ourselves when we hurt/help others, is it seemed to be alluding to something similar to where we don't pour poison into a teapot bc we could never take a sip without killing ourselves too.

This is one of the accusations made in a British murder mystery I watched a few months ago, it was very odd: In the story, one of the housemaids had written a ghost letter to the secret illegitimate heiress, who is easily fooled into thinking that she has a long lost Aunt in Australia.

The young lady was kept in the dark as to her true lineage to the kind elderly benefactor, who "adopted her" when she was a baby. But in actuality was her mother, who was heartbroken when her lover walked out on her when she revealed she was pregnant with their first child. And so to protect the family name from being tarnished, her mother was never allowed to acknowledge her child as her own & instead was stuck pretending it was all an act of altruism.

Throughout the movie her mother is in ill health, wishing for death, but is slowly being poisoned by her maid. And I guess the saddest part is, this woman went through all her life keeping her beloved daughter at arm's length, never to embrace her in public or in private bc her reputation among men was more important to her than true familial love. The haunting aspect being how closely aligned this choice is with the pretension of a compromised faith causes us to live all our lives in a total farce, having to force a smile & pretend everything we do is a selfless act of altruism.. kind of like that maid, who befriended the unwitting heiress & feigning interest in her life just so she could have something to write back as her beleaguered & doting Aunt.

Maybe that's why JESUS says HE will deny them to their face, calling them children of the devil, the father of lies. No one in this world is capable of the good required to enter GOD's Kingdom, the forgiveness & atonement offered through JESUS is no light matter: We cannot fake it till we make it.

Though I still struggle with not being a complete douche bag to those who rub me the wrong way, it is no wonder I have difficulty appreciating GOD's goodness in the presence of mine enemies [Psalm 23].. good has nothing to do with bad fruit. I mean a good tree does not produce bad fruit, so the pruning off of the diseased areas is ongoing. It's like that environmental safety video at work, made in the UK where a civil engineer was taking final measurements on the old bridge when a powerful gush of wind blew his measuring tape over the edge. But when he reflexively rushed to save it from being lost, he grabbed it at the exact moment his measuring tape made contact with a live wire which had escaped his notice. What resulted was a plume of red mushroom cloud, according to a witness on the road he saw what looked like a tiny nuclear bomb had gone off. The tragedy was back in his day, doctors would try to save as much of the body to help the victim resume a normal life, and in the video it was made explicitly clear to everyone that bc some of the necrotic tissue was left attached to the healthy parts of his body, though he appeared to be recovering from the severe burns—he eventually hit a point where the toxicity in his blood killed his vital organs, and he succumbed to his injuries. Lock, stock, & barrel guys, we cannot have anything to do with evil, and it has to all go or we will die in our sins.

That worksafe video is seared into my mind, it was so poignant. Our knowledge only grows with time, as with everything else, so don't lose hope.

Still, I don't find it natural to assume treating someone badly hurts us as well, though there is the law of reaping what you sow..but now that I'm thinking about it again, GOD said we are to do everything as unto the LORD—something that has helped in the past, but when the carrot vanishes & all that is left is the stick, this donkey is not moving an inch no matter how much YOU beat it. [Colossians 3:23]

I'm terrible at this phase where GOD is zeroing out all value from the world, where threats or even actual shame is being levied on me repeatedly. It's really brutal, great yet another person I want to avoid with everything within me.

Sometimes it is evident that hope is only a prayer away; but in the heat of the moment—it is impossible to avoid exacting revenge like Lamech when he said to his wives: "Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; you wives of Lamech, listen to what I say: I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for striking me." Sometimes I feel like I'm progressing in the wrong direction & I don't even want to talk to GOD. I don't know how many feel that way, bc I always think of Cain & how GOD also spoke to him & advised him against the evil he had already intended & later denied altogether.

On a related note, I think that is why GOD encouraged us to pray without ceasing, because the moment A&E failed to follow GOD when HE walked off in the cool of the evening they fell into sin & ceased to be perfect, which really demonstrated the basic purpose of prayer is to dialog with GOD. This is something I experience firsthand on a weekly basis.

It's really like a conversation where we hear HIM say something then we ask for clarification or ad lib based on what we think HE meant. Then HE will bring things into our lives to help us understand HIM better, it's pretty cute to be able to have this constant conversation with HIM bc HE is not someone we can actually run away from or avoid. Plus HE knows how to rock the boat, and get us thrown over board. Tonight you swim with the fish, for real.. no gangster pulls that off without actually ending us & the conversation. I like the adage that we can't receive from GOD if we are too filled with unforgiveness, anger, bitter resentment, and/or pride; so it’s no wonder HE said only the empty vessel is ready for holy use.

I know what you guys are all thinking, this is far off from being mistaken as worshipful devotion to GOD: Put a pin on it guys, this is a lifelong journey not an overnight red eye to Hawaii. We will never arrive at the point of true worship of GOD, HE tops us off every time, or maybe I should say HE fills us up every time instead. lol

I think he may be overburdened by his leadership. The emperor came out and I had to look up why, and saw that he is the leader of the group and this made a lot of sense. In his current energy I see him being a bit more neutral about it, though hes still not too happy in the position I see him trying to see the upsides to it. I think he's still feeling like its not the best place for him, but he may also really enjoy being part of the group so he bears with it. He's definetly very skilled at what he does. he has the tools and abilities to do his job very well which he realizes, but he still hates it loll. Its like when you accidentally become important at your job when you didnt choose to be hehe. Hes trying to balance his feelings out more though, because i see it did bring him a lot of pain in the past.

Hes like super chill here lmao. I think he feels good being part of a team and it brings him a feeling of fulfillment. I think he really loves his job but he may also have some fears about having to leave? or he feels like since its so important to him, losing it would ruin his life. It sounds a bit dramatic that way, but I see he really likes being in the group so he cherishes it a lot and does not like when things threaten or disrupt this balance. He may also be one of the sensitive ones of the group and feels really sad when disagreements or arguments pop up. I think him along with Bangchan may play the role of peacemaker a lot of the times, though bangchan is more levelheaded about it.

I think he's very aware of the ups and downs of his position in life. I think he's also really funny, and may be the type to instigate debates and lighthreated chaos within the group. His energy is very straight to the point to be honest, I think he may be this way as well. Not someone who is deeply mysterious of secretive, what you see is what you get with him haha. I think he's also a very good learner, so he may be always gaining new skills and finding things to focus on. Though i think he really appreciates the other members and he's also very diligent when it comes to his work and responsibilities. He feels like a very serious type of person behind the scenes. The short of it: Lyra is paired with all the LIs of The Arcana. It’s just split into twelve different timelines. For the sake of readability/not wanting to put readers through thorough essays about each and every bit of said timelines, I’ll do my best to condense each bit into small paragraphs.

Asra—

Overall/In Other Routes: Lyra sees Asra as one of her closest, dearest friends. She’ll always find ways to keep in touch: be it keeping consistent correspondence while out of Vesuvia to finding time in her busy schedule to meet up with them. In Muriel’s route, Asra even officiates the wedding! There is, however, one timeline where their friendship is strained to its limit . . .

Upright (TOR: Compass Rose): He’s been there since the beginning of it all. Even if she can’t remember six of the nine years she’s actually known Asra, she wants nothing more than to make new memories with him. Be it in Vesuvia or some far-flung place on the continent over, she’s always found a home wherever Asra is.

Reversed (TOR: Songbird): Asra’s everything to her. He’s everything she’s ever known. He's also the only thing that she remembers.

Overall/In Other Routes: Depending whether Lyra’s in an Upright or Reversed timeline, Lyra can be anywhere between having the utmost of respect for the Countess, to being totally neutral/indifferent. As a woman in her position, Nadia has a lot of responsibilities; Lyra doesn’t envy her in the slightest. If they’re friends, Lyra’s a visitor that Nadia looks forward to see. If they’re estranged or on hostile/unfriendly terms, at best it is awkward. At worst, it’s bitter and angry.

Upright (TOR: Emerald): Initially, Lyra only knew her as the widowed Countess. As she learned more about Nadia, she found a kindred spirit. While busy with their duties, they find each other—and their friends/loved ones—to lean on. The pair push each other to be better, and to do their best with whatever energies they have on a day to day basis.

Reversed (TOR: Ruby): With the new Devil being her significant other, Lyra’s found herself having many freedoms. Said freedoms, however, are at that the end of a very, very long leash. With the slightest sign of her Devil needing her presence, Lyra’s instantly transported back to the seat of Nadia’s throne. While free to do as she wishes, Lyra’s internal turmoil isn’t quelled in the least.

Julian—

Overall/In Other Routes: At best, she gets along with the fellow pun-loving doctor. At worst, interactions between the two of them can be either awkward or leave one or both of them completely and utterly exasperated. Julian isn’t the easiest person to be around, whether or not he does it intentionally. Lyra knows the man means well 89% of the time, but his flair for the dramatics makes her shake her head.

Upright (TOR: Voyager): Their relationship starts off not unlike a roller coaster. He’s wanted for murder, yet he doesn’t remember much from his time in the Red Plague. Lyra knows there’s more to the doctor than he lets on, especially when time and time again it seems like he’s a death seeker. After things are resolved, Lyra and Julian learn each other’s styles of affection. While Lyra is the more ‘serious’ of the pair, she’s not uptight to the point Julian’s shenanigans feel grating. Despite their very obvious differences, deep down beneath, they both care for the same things. They just go about it differently, especially when magic gets involved.

Reversed (TOR: Undertaker): They both have nightmares that feel endless. Both their bodies have changed, and they’re both doing their best to cope with it. Julian’s become something of a raven-based harpy, and Lyra’s shifting into a black sheep of sorts. Travelling together, Julian doesn’t pry much into what Lyra’s seen en route to finding him. It only comes up when Scout and Julian assist Lyra in sheering the excess amount of wool off of her skin and face. Despite it all, they’re together, and looking for their loved ones in their changed world. So long as they’re together, they can do anything.
