so fucking obsessed with kai demonanime because hes just this awful little man, completely committed to keeping himself alive at any cost, a complete deflection of anything that tries to reach out to him because of his skewed view of the way the world works, deciding that the world was inherently cruel and selfish and deciding to be Worse as a defense mechanism. and when given the choice, he completely doubles down on it, abandoning his humanity entirely in favor of the image of infinite power and praise from “the right people,” the ability to right “wrongs” he selfishly believes he is owed, and at the culmination of this horrible, borderline tragic arc... he just becomes a weird cat.
