Shawty got that stockholm syndrome in a way. She is…. Sometimes aware of it, though she wouldn't call it that any more. Maybe at first in the basement she was more aware, but now that she can come and go she thinks its a thing of the past. tries not to dwell on it. Kind of in a “well its literally not that bad its kind of fun its kind of romantic were just quirky <3” way, will get mad if someone insists she has stockholm or that the relationship is fucked. Will get enraged and upset on Vincent's behalf, probably cry and yell at you.

I intended her to be fairly average, maybe kind of cute. It's generally the way she dresses/acts in public that draws attention, not her looks. I tend to make most of my ocs on the average scale besides a select few.

Good question…. Jillys morals are pretty simple- always be kind and nice, murder and hurting other people is bad, and you shouldnt lie. She sticks to those pretty strictly herself despite the situations she gets put in, often to her own detriment. But she doesn't always put a stop to those behaviors from the people she surrounds herself with, so she's sort of accomplice to bad acts of violence just by not snitching. So somewhat situational? She tries not to think about it.

D3. How comfortable are they with the idea of death?

Not comfortable! She hadn't seen a lot of it before her early twenties and was always sort of sheltered. dead fish are flushed down the toilet bcs they go to the ocean to live again, right? Thought cows and such all died of old age peacefully before they were made into burgers until she was like… twelve. 💀Won't kill mice and other critters despite her prey drive bcs she would feel too bad. And this is just for animal death, she's much more uncomfortable with human death. Also a thing she tries to ignore.

God no. She hates small spaces unless she's hiding in them and tiny homes have no room for all the shit she stashes! No room for zoomies, or climbing on the furniture, or wrestling around on the floor. It would be filled with junk within a week.

He's never had much to be jealous of, as he's never really been over involved in romantic relationships. They were usually mutually beneficial and somewhat clinical in nature. Hes also pretty sure of himself and his value as an asset and lover. If he finds someone who peaks his interest and they become an item though, he might get jealous if he catches them flirting with other people. Hell be peeved at first but know flirtation in business has its value, so to make himself feel better might flirt with someone else while they are nearby. Make a game of it, see who wins.

A23. Does your OC place much importance on their appearance? Do they feel confident in it?

Appearances are crucial to him and spends a lot of time and money making sure he looks his best. He needs to appear above the rabble and impenetrable, dressing well and having immaculate posture and an air of both grace and otherworldliness.

Definitely not one to find fart jokes funny. Very rarely laughs genuinely or full heartedly, he keeps all his expressions of emotion close to his chest. Sharp sardonic wit is appealing to him in the right circumstances, even a jab directed at himself can make him chuckle if it's well formed enough. Irony almost always gets him, even if its dark irony or gallows humor. Bit of a hard nut to crack. Would laugh enough that hed have to cover his mouth with his hand if he were to see Felix fall face first into mud, though. More often than not you can tell he finds something amusing by a gleam in his eyes and a slight squint.

C1. Does your OC have a moral code? If not, how do they base their actions? If so, where does it come from, and how seriously do they take it?

Well he used to have a real moral code :/. Now I mean…. The ends justify the means. By any means necessary. He considers his family's needs first, then the good of the world, then any individual in the world. Has ordered executions of entire families, had babies stolen and sent away, sent armies to certain death knowing full well they would all die, commanded individuals be tortured for information, sacrificed many in what he considers to be a game of chess where he is the player and others are the pawns. He finds senseless violence and savagery to be unforgivable, but if violence has a sense and purpose to employ it, then he will do so.

H2. Is your OC a thoughtful partner, in whatever aspect of that you want to cover?

Nirn tends to be a very thoughtful and attentive person in general, just for the wrong reasons lmaoooo. But with a lover? He's going to be utilizing that to show them how much he cares and using his powers for good. Mention you like a certain fabric while shopping one time and then complain your favorite tunic has a wine stain in it several months later, he's going to be taking your measurements for a new one in your preferred material without a moment's notice. Very keen on picking up moods, expressions and tone. Also has a very good memory. He doesn't really think about it but gifts are how he shows his love. Also a great attentive listener.

A5. Are they good at handling change in their life?

I would say so, yeah. Shes been used to things constantly changing since she was little and has had little to no control on outside influences. Shes also not one to over think about the past and lament, shes more of a one foot in front of the other, the only time is the present kind of gal. Of course large changes like becoming a warden were a bit more severe, but shes mostly able to think in the present as long as she has immediate problems to deal with.

B9.What kind of humor does your OC like the most? Slapstick, ironic, funny sounds, scare pranks, xD sO rAnDoM…

Slapstick is always gonna make her laugh as long as nobody gets seriously hurt, even if its her own ass tripping into a tree. Not a fan of scare pranks, 0/10 recommend trying to scare Thurwen. You will end up with a broken nose at best and an angry elf. Likes puns, but she's the one to groan at them and try and hide the grin spreading across her face. Gallows humor but only if its her in the gallows, otherwise doesn't find it funny at all. If a little kid calls someone a fartcicle she will be tears in the eyes giggling, which is hard when your warden commander and everyone looks toward you to be serious and mature gyshsdhdfsghsd.

C8. Is your OC more practical or ideal morally? I.e., do they hold people to high expectations of behavior even if it’s not realistic for the situation, or do they have a more realistic approach and adapt their morality to be more practical?

She definitely holds herself to moral ideals and is very hard on herself, but has realistic moral expectations for others. She can understand self serving and people only wanting to survive and she will only give people a little bit of shit for it, no one's perfect. But then she expects herself to be perfect and berates herself constantly for not living up to the hero of ferelden warden commander ideals.

D1. How religious is your OC? What do they practice, if anything? If they don’t associate with any religion, what do they think of religion in general?

Atheist ever since her mom died when she was a kid, but now Shes in a weird mixed state ever since the urn of sacred ashes where shes like. fuck the maker, but Andraste is cool I guess. So respects/believes in the power of Andraste while thinking the maker is a piece of shit and the chantry sucks ass. Even she doesnt know what she really believes, but she did see the ghosts of Andrastes disciples and Shartan, used her ashes as healing salve, killed an old god, etc. So shes been in a weird place recently, crisis of faith/non faith pretty continual.

I5. Are they a good cook?

I mean…. She can cook basics. Shes been feeding herself and the alienage kids since she was old enough to walk so she knows how to get protein and make things edible. Does it taste good? Probably not. She didnt see her first spice till she was 17 years old, but she can skin a rabbit in seven seconds.

She tries to excuse bad behavior of herself or others a lot, yeah fgdgdsfhdhs. Mostly she doesnt have to make excuses for herself because she can wholeheartedly be like “yeah i fucked up but whatever im sexy and large and awesome and everyone loves me 🙄whatever baby” and when other people fuck up shes pretty sympathetic even though they are not as large nor as sexy. Shes very used to forgiving and excusing herself its totally alien to her when she really fucks up and is suddenly like wait… valkya…. Did bad?? What is this feeling. Shame?? Guilt?? IMPOSSIBLE.

She hates those giant bugs in morrowind and valenwood a whole fucking lot but I wouldnt exactly place it as a phobia. Those huge mosquitoes and haorvers got no respect but she really hates the morrowind bugs ever since they knocked her over and jumped her while she was pants down peeing drunk as hell in the sand :/ never forgave. Never forgot.

She was raised in a healthy household that tought the basics, prety much “harming others needlessly, stealing, torture, rape, dessecrating the dead, being selfish and not doing right by others, etc etc all basic bad things” are her morals. Her morality is basically treat others how you want to be treated. And if they treat you badly, then have fun beating the shit out of them to show everyone else not to fuck with you. Its a pretty nordic morality in that way. Her morality is also since she was ‘blessed’ with being so large and strong, that she has to also look out for the little guy who cant protect themselves. So If someone treats them how valkya wouldn't want to be treated, then beat the shit out of the person harming them to show them the little guys got backup. Her parents raised her to be a hero and thats p much how she sees herself, which has its benefits and its fuckin problems.

E8. What’s one of your OC’s biggest regrets?

Fucking up Dem and Dariens relationship for sure dude :/ valkya always gonna be sulking over that one. She doesnt regret becoming a vestige, even though it would have made her so much happier not to be because it ended up saving so many people and the world. She regrets not spending more time with Naryu, regrets always having other life saving business she had to run off to, regrets not cherishing the time they had together. Regrets not telling Lyris how she feels, either. Regrets not being able to save as many people as she should have, regrets she wasnt stronger in coldharbor and didnt break out herself. But she tries not to think about it <3

G6. Do they have any favorite childhood memories?

When she was seven she once spent two months training to hold her breath underwater, because her cousin always held it longer and won the gold bet. She trained for hours almost drowning in the river until she could comfortably hold it for up to three minutes. During the next holiday when they all got together again the competitions were on and they both went under- her cousin won, holding their breath for four more minutes before they decided to come up. This was the first lesson she learned that shocked her world view- you always need to know your opponents capabilities. (after she lost 26 gold in the bets, her mother later had to inform her that her cousin was an argonian.)

diversity!! richly described southeast asian inspired-setting. as a southeast asian myself im always into that sweet sweet asian-inspired worldbuilding

inspired by the myth of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl! at least, im pretty sure. the story itself uses a lot of other elements that don’t happen in the original story but i still got that vibe from the characters

i liked the main character, maia - she was a little feistier than she was cold hard BDE, but! she put her money where her mouth was when it came to a challenge, and worked hard for her victory

lots of weaving imagery, which i love - if you’re gonna have a protagonist who creates some kind of art, you better believe im expecting extensive metaphors and painstaking depictions of pouring your whole heart into something breathtakingly gorgeous, powerful enough to bring the masses to their knees

male love interest is *hand-wavey motion* much older than the female protagonist, on account of him being a hot sexy immortal magic man. im not too annoyed by this, because the dynamic was relatively balanced in-story, but it does annoy me as a trope on its own merit. why does he need to be that much older, especially when he’s not that much more mature??

not necessarily a complaint, but an observation: some of maia’s decisions were very YA protagonist; as in, i needed her to stop using her emotions as an excuse. if you’re gonna do it for the sake of a good dicking down, at least admit it to yourself, woman! it’s okay to be H word. you and i both know you’re gunning for that ass. just stop lying to me

Summary: Maia, the lone girl in a family of three boisterous brotherss, is a talented seamstress poised with the skills and the drive to take over the family’s tailoring business. Only she possesses both the patience and the artistic flair for making the most beautiful of dresses - so when the imperial palace summons the greatest tailors in the kingdom to become the new empress’s official dressmaker, she disguises herself as a boy (Mulan-style!) to take her aging father’s place. After some Project Runway shenanigans, the emperor’s bride-to-be throws a perfectly staged curve ball on things - she refuses to accept the royal wedding unless her appointed tailor is good enough to complete an impossibly gruelling task - crafting three beautiful, handsewn, uniquely-designed dresses to serve as her wedding gift. Oh, and if that wasn’t a tall enough order for one lone (and relatively inexperienced) dressmaker - the dresses she has in mind are made from the laughter of sun, the tears of the moon, and the blood of the stars. So that’s fun.

Concept: 💭💭💭💭 The cover. The COVER. Whew!! I make no pretenses about being a shallow reader, and this cover hit. right. Her cover artist really doesn’t miss! The blues! The stance! The spinning golden thread! The blurb actually managed to curb my excitement somewhat because I can smell a protagonist-falls-in-love-with-someone-she-probably-shouldnt subplot like a freshly rotting carcass, but I took another look at the cover and thought, I’ve made worse decisions than this. I’ll read it for the weaving metaphors. No regrets.

Execution: 💥💥💥💥 And the verdict is....no regrets! Guess I will continue to go on being helplessly shallow about beautiful book covers. I didn’t love this story, but it was a fun romp through a well-paced plot and a gorgeously detailed fantasy world (the moon, sun, and star imagery.....monkey brain says huhuhu sparkly things do bring joy and I believe that), so there was really nothing to hate. I’m not too desperate for the sequel (except that I really need to know if my babe Sarhai gets her happy ending) but I want to pick it up eventually!

Personal Enjoyment: ❤❤❤ This book took me 3 days to finish this after taking two months (two attempts! why didn’t I just dnf..) to finish To Kill a Kingdom. It got me out of the bad reading slump so well, so fast! I really liked the writing style - the cadence rolled, instead of stabbed (insert bad weaving / sewing metaphor here). However, I really could’ve done without the rapidly intensifying no-braincell energy (NBE) of the two protagonists. While I’m in no way opposed to NBE, the fact is that the BDE wasn’t strong enough to justify the lack of thoughts - I kept thinking ‘where were the two of you when they were handing out the good braincells?? huh??? HUH????’. Love made them stupid but not more unhinged. *deep sigh* What a waste of a good simp

Favourite Moment: I have the distinct memory of Lady Sarhai stomping around the gardens with a handful of arrows and dead hawks (doves? she was trying to shoot the enchanter if i remember right. BDE honestly) and Lord Xina following after being a simp. maia did some shit too but i was paying more attention to the important stuff

Favourite Character: its a close match between Lady Sarhai and Lord Xina. Lord Xina only appeared like twice in this whole book but damnit im probably more invested in HIS love life than i am with maia’s. maia can figure her own shit out, she’s proved capable, but that Lord Xina dude willingly chose to simp for a highly pissed-off, hotheaded viper of a woman, and that can only mean one thing: he is a Man With Taste. we have no choice but to stan! plus in the narrative it’s pretty clear to me that Lady Sarhai and Lord Xina fully communicate their next moves (desperate, desperate moves on a sparse chessboard, bless their lovestruck souls) to each other before they pull anything. Sarhai’s next moves are calculated, and defiant, and Lord Xina plays his bad hand in a losing game with such precision. I just *clenches fist* we love open communication and clear co-conspirators in this house!!

In my redesigns its practically the same thing, only difference is her stomach is covered, her shorts are longer but she still looks comfortable. She’s wearing appropriate clothes for a child her age that isnt too revealing but still comfortable for her to lounge in her room

The difference between these is night and day, I fixed her outfit with hardly any extra effort at all yet Ikemoto acts like this is somehow difficult to simply draw a child in appropriate clothing for their age

Im sick of people trying to justify Ikemoto’s blatant sexualization of Sarada that even SP and Kishimoto agree goes too far and feel the need to change. What does that tell you when the studio and creator himself think his depiction of her is too much? nuff said

One thing I do find hilarious is that its mostly BoruSara shippers who are complaining about these two minor changes to this scene, but there was another minor change they did that nobodys complaining about

In the anime Boruto smiles and says ‘Sarada...thank you’

However in the manga, Boruto doesnt smile at all in this scene and looks serious the entire time, he doesnt say ‘Sarada...thank you’ either, he casually says ‘Thanks, I owe you one’ and jumps off

But nobodys complaining about that change, its the same thing. They altered Sarada’s expression biting her glasses and they altered Boruto’s expression looking serious and jumping away.

I wonder why nobodys complaining about this change, its just as minor and just as irrelevant as Sarada’s change so why no outrage here? we know why.

so the main ideas of calculus are the derivative and the integral

the derivative is, like, ok hang on and google “wiggly graph”. just keep looking back at any one of those. if you imagine the graph is a literal physical thing and you press a ruler against it at any given point, the derivative is how tilted that ruler is. if the ruler is flat, which happens at the top or bottom of a wiggle, the derivative is zero. if you manage to find a perfectly vertical wall, which shouldnt happen in a real graph, the derivative is infinity cause it means something changed literally instantly (irl even the fastest things usually take a few quadrillionths of a second at least, which is more than zero)

the derivative means how fast something is changing. business people talk about derivatives a lot because if the derivative of a pork graph is a big number right now, that means pork is getting more valuable so they should buy pork now and sell it tomorrow. if the derivative of a pork graph is a negative number, meaning that ruler is tilting downwards, that means pork is getting cheaper so they should sell whatever pork they have now. if its a big negative number that means everything is going to shit (this is not an accurate summary of economics)

the integral is... technically not the thing im going to talk about but its related. so imagine you spill some coffee and it leaves a stain, which probably isn’t a perfect circle but is some blobby shape. suppose you want to know how big the shape is, how much area it has, and therefore how much coffee you spilled. (imagine you are a coffee forensic scientist and also you didn’t mop up any coffee, it’s all in the spill). well if you take a ruler-square thats a square foot and lay it on top of the coffee stain, itll probably mostly contain the stain, and you can say “okay that is about one square foot of coffee”. but suppose you wanna be more precise about the stain. “about one square foot of coffee” is a pretty shitty measurement. so instead you take a bunch of tiled ruler-squares that are a square inch instead. you can fit them on that stain more closely and follow the outline more closely, so you can say that actually this is about 105 square inches of coffee or whatever. and then imagine you wanna get more and more precise. you would need smaller and smaller tiles, and you need more and more of them. well, when you get to an infinite number of infinitely small tiles, that’s an integral. dont worry we have some mathematical tricks so you dont need actual infinite tiles but thats the concept

the reason that these two are related is because theyre (kind of) the opposite of each other, like addition and subtraction are opposites. if i add five apples then take away five apples i have the same number i started with. if i take the integral of a graph over a certain area and then i take the derivative of the thing i get from that, i get back the original equation of the graph. technically with integrals you have to think about bounds or specify constants for indefinite integrals blah blah blah

a really good way to think about derivatives and integrals is position, velocity, and acceleration. position is where you are: for simplicity sake, imagine you’re on a train that only moves forward and back, and the track is also a ruler so it’s easy to see where you are. velocity is how fast you can change where you are: i am at 3ft and i want to be at 13ft and i have one second to cross that distance. acceleration is how fast you can change velocity: i am currently going at 35 mph and i want to be going 50 mph and i have one second to rev my engine up to that speed. acceleration is the derivative of velocity, because its how fast you change that, and velocity is the derivative of position, because its how fast you change that. then position is the integral of velocity which is the integral of acceleration. its a little harder to justify that conceptually but if you draw the graph of the velocity and you shade in the area under the graph from zero to three minutes, then divide it into squares and count those squares, thats how far youve gone in that time.

CONFESSIONS OF A GAS STATION EMPLOYEE Before I get into this topic I must declare a couple items. I am very good at what I do in this specific job and I will not say the name or location of where these items occur. These items DO NOT represent all gas stations/employee practices or experiences. These items do not represent the company you may know I work for. All of these items are indeed true and I have experienced numerous times. They are listed for fun so enjoy. Here it goes… 1) If you argue with us for a mistake you made but blame on us such as saying the wrong pump number ITS YOUR FAULT, not mine. You piss me off more than you would if someone took your gas money because you cannot remember or fail to say the right pump number for your pre-payment of gas. As soon as you leave we will talk bad and joke about you, sorry. 2) SMOKERS piss us off often on the fact that some are semi-mindless when asking for what they need and make us walk around more than we need to. Its bad enough we don’t have breaks in this job and you aren’t specific on what you need. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS: “I need a box of Newports please” -scans the cigs- “oh sorry I meant Newports 100’s” -walks back to change size-…..OMG customers will never know how aggravating that really is all day. 3) People under 30 that look young know they will get ID for beer and cigs but give us a hard time when we ask for it. Just show us the dam thing you know the laws. 50-75% of customers get angry for us asking…ITS MY DAM JOB TO DO IT and we get tested by the police almost once a week. Sometimes when you get flustered about digging in your pocket for it we just can’t wait to see an underage/fake ID so we can say GTFO. 4) We hand you change into your hands please give us the money the same way. I do not know if this occurs in other retail like places but its highly dis-respectful to toss money on the counter but expect us to put change in your hand. If I really didn’t need my job I would throw the change at you the same way you toss it on the counter as if you don’t care. I haven’t identified why people do that… But it sucks! 5) We do make an honest effort to get rid of old items in the store but take into account my store has thousands of items. About 110,000 dollars worth of merchandise to keep track of while people at home sometimes don’t even check their own food in their fridge. Effort counts right. 6) Its not that we intentionally leave old food on the roller grill/hot case there are so much things to do as a gas station employee that it slips our mind to throw away old items and put new ones. this happens RARELY but we do our best to keep track of temperatures and how long stuff has been there. Undercooked is worse then a 4 hour hot dog so people know. 7) We love to kick people off the property that are begging for money. I can justify this because its a breach of personal safety when people are approaching you in such situations as a station. If there are frequent beggars around it will scare customers away. The job as stated sucks and we have no breaks so its fun to yell at people to get off the property. 8) hmm I guess I haven’t stated it yet but somehow most busy gas stations don't have lunch breaks nor 15 rest periods like conventional jobs do. People don’t know this and think our job is a piece of cake. Well maybe if we were like Chevron or Shell station that gets to sit on a stool by a window all night but we are open 24/7 with 300-1500 per 8 hour shift. Therefore there are no breaks unless you eat something. Most likely you have to eat fast because there is much to do. 9) We may say its ok accidents happen when you spill a large drink all over but it simply just pisses us off and reminds us of how much janitorial we are. 10) We are tired of people short changing us as if its ok not to pay tax on purchases. We do not make the prices nor have control over how items are taxed at this store. Therefore if your purchase is 1.05 and you come here often BRING YOUR DAM NICKEL. Makes me sick when I witness customers with pocket full of cash but they don’t want to give 2 dollars for a 1.05 purchase. They rather say I only have a dollar. I would like to say then GTFO if you don’t have the 5 cents but the owner said don’t worry about it (the hell I don’t want my register short). If your are nice like many female customers are I let you slide on occasions (not sexist but women are more honest). 11) We are not afraid to call the police for most any reason so please don’t cause trouble. We just want to get through our shift without issues but you will be surprised how many things come up each day. 12) STOP coming into our store with no shirt on. I don’t care how in shape you are it scares away customers. Some reason we cannot post a sign that says no shirt no shoes, no service…I would like to tell these people GTFO but I can’t. 13) The only reason we watch you closely when you enter the store is to make sure you are not plotting to hurt and rob us. Well mainly hurt us we don’t care if you take the money. I have heard of other places of the clerk getting shot after the register opened. Tell you the truth I don’t give a dam if you take anything. I just want to live through my shift without being dead/hurt. The way we are behind the counter we cannot stop you if you steal and we can’t and do not want to run after people. This fact stated people are not suppose to know ha. 14) We are not in the mood for your small talk of non-sense when there is a line of customers or at night when there is stuff to do. We can care less about anything you rant to us like a situation you came from or where you are going. We do enjoy joking or talking when situations permit. Don’t hold me up with non-sense talk (I am having trouble making a direct example). 15) Understand that we are overworked so mistakes can happen when we are helping 300-1500 per shift, and clean, and cook, and stock, and deal with issues. Remember we aren’t a chevron or shell station that just sits on a stool all day. 15) Please stop comparing our prices to wal-mart we don’t care nor have control over price setting. Wal-mart has better bulk purchasing power than we do therefore can sell things cheaper. STOP complaining “oh I can get this cheaper at Wal-Mart”. I DON’T CARE THEN GO THERE PLZ K THANX. Hearing you rant about prices is too much on top of how this job sucks. 16) If you card declines its DECLINED. Don’t argue with me for what the register tells me and you. I don’t care if you show me your bank account from your phone. If it doesn’t process then we cannot do anything about it. 17) We do not know what phone cards work for what countries nor if its good or not. So stop asking we know as much as you do. Besides we hardly sell them anyways. 18) If you enter the store quietly and we are working on something say you are there. Our door bell stopped working when people enter so sometimes people slip into the store and then get pissed for waiting at the counter. WE CANNOT HEAR YOU ENTER with all them dam machines running. Stop getting flustered for this fact. We are not ignoring you, say something. There’s much work to do at night unlike other stations that sits on a stool all night. 19) We do enjoy talking to you and making you smile. 1 nice customer can make a bad day turnaround. Just as 1 nasty customer can ruin our whole day... If your having a bad day dont take it out on us its not our fault. Remember we can give as good as we get. 20) Is it so hard to say please and thank you? C-mon we deserve a little common courtesy. After all we are here to help you and kindness is something you want in return from us right? Remember treat people the way you want to be treated. We are not less of a person because we work in a gas station. We are working and paying bills the same way you are. I guess some people dont see it that way. 21) Our counter and floor is not a trash can. Im not your mother, your personal maid or a janitor. Im not paid enough for that. And please dont bring all your garbege from your car into our store and stuff our trash cans. There are bigger more suitable trash cans outside the store. 22) How you going to come in here and spend less than 5.00 dollars and want to break a 100.00 bill? Is there a sign that says Wells Fargo or Bank Of America? We are a gas station and such shouldnt be having large bills in the first place just in case of incidents. The customer we help after you may see that bill and who knows what they are thinking... I know its a leap but hey things happen... Oh and half the time the customer almost always has a smaller bill. Hey at least ask us first if we can break it instead of throwing it on the counter and not in our hands! 23) Why do customers insist on getting mad at us when we clean the bathroom? Everyone wants a clean bathroom so we clean it every so often thoroughly but when customers keep coming in and out it makes it so much harder and the more you complain the longer it will take us. Do you want there to be toilet paper or not? C-mon why complicate things. 24) We also fill propane at my employment and it amazes me how customers demand it "I need propane" or "Gimme propane" Like its a right or something. Then after we go outside and pump your tank we dont even get a thank you? Wow some people have no manners. Where were you raised? Because I was raised to treat others with respect and to say Please, Thank you and your Welcome. May seem small and petty but it makes a difference. 25) Scratchers... I cannot see when you point to the case from the customer side "I want this one" while tapping on the case. Or gimme crossword or bingo. We have 4 crossroads and 2 bingos. Hello! The scratchers are numbered 1-25. If i can see it you can see it. Very frustrating but I will give you a hard time and ask you what number is that scratcher and make you look even though I know which scratcher your asking for... 26) There are 2 registers here. Im standing at mine why must you go to the one thats empty? As I stand here and watch you then you say oh over there. I just wanna say no im standing here for my health Duh! Who knows maybe Casper will ring you up. I don't see him but maybe you do? Well that is all I could think of for now. Completely off topic of Todays episode but are people really that salty about the KawaSara ship? it’s literally SasuSaku all over again in terms of the arguments used against them

Which btw I still wanna know where are all the SasuSaku fans that apparently support KawaSara because its like SasuSaku [which it isnt in any way shape or form its completely unique in comparison imo] because I have yet to see anyone but anti’s making this claim

And yes Im a SasuSaku shipper and I ship KawaSara but not because I think its anything like SasuSaku because I dont

What I dont get isnt why people dont like the ship because to each their own, what I dont get is the bullshit reasoning on why KawaSara shippers are ‘bad’ or ‘delusional’ or the most common ‘he did nothing but insult her the entire chapter!’

No he did not, here’s what actually happened

For Kawaki’s first time trying Taiyaki Sarada suggests he try the custard one to which Kawaki defiantly chooses chocolate instead, Sarada asks if she could have a bite since she’s never tried the chocolate flavored one and Kawaki refuses because its his and why should he share it with an asshole like her

Kawaki desires freedom and to make his own decisions, Sarada suggested custard but Kawaki wanted to make his own decision and decided on chocolate which Kawaki surprisingly enjoyed, Sarada asks for a bite of HIS snack that HE chose for himself and belongs to him and takes offense to it which shows he probably doesnt get the concept of sharing the same way he wasnt familiar with what a snack was and took it as a sign of her wanting to take from him which makes her an asshole

You could take the Taiyaki as his free will so sharing it with Sarada would be like sharing or giving his free will to her which he doesnt wanna do

Then a kid ran into Kawaki and he reflexively attacked him but was stopped by Naruto, afterwards Sarada went over to the two boys to check on them and apologized for Kawaki’s actions, Sarada is a kind and caring person so naturally, she is angry at Kawaki for his outburst

He calls Sarada an asshole again which he calls everyone, ‘he didnt call Hinata, Himawari or Ino an asshole though!’  yeah and know why? because neither Hinata, Himawari nor Ino gave him a REASON to

Kawaki only addresses people as assholes that he feels is trying to control him, is hostile towards him, or just ticks him off

Hinata barely said two words to him, Himawari also hardly had any interaction with him and Ino was just being extra polite because of the ‘mission’ and had no reason to be hostile towards Kawaki nor him to her

Sarada on the other hand? she’s getting on his case for nearly killing an innocent kid for no reason, Kawaki tells her to shut up and brushes it off as just giving them a taste of the real world, Sarada PERSISTS yelling at him more for using his upbringing [which atm she doesnt know the full story] as an excuse for his behavior, this of course anger’s Kawaki but he doesnt yell at her or lash out and instead asks why she’s even coming along when it has nothing to do with her

Kawaki could have easily yelled at her the way she was at him especially when she played down his upbringing but instead, he just calls her an asshole and asks why she even bothered coming along

My point is Sarada is being hostile towards Kawaki, she’s yelling at him, telling him his actions were wrong when he believes they are justified, saying his upbringing is no excuse for his behavior, Kawaki doesnt like being talked down to and he definitely doesnt like being told what he should and shouldnt do which Sarada was doing and was thus an asshole

Sarada ONCE AGAIN gets on his case, this time for picking a random vase instead of choosing seriously which this time Kawaki does yell at her because again Kawaki does not like being told what to do

He doesnt like being controlled for obvious reasons, Kawaki wants freedom from Jigen and Kara etc and to have free will which is something he wasnt allowed to have so Sarada or anyone else getting on his case about anything triggers a negative reaction from him because he doesn't want to be controlled which he feels Sarada is trying to do by butting in when it has nothing to do with her

The only reason Naruto even gets some respect is because he’s powerful and goes out of his way to be nice to him but he doesnt really like being told what to do by Naruto either but he knows that he has no choice in the matter since he stands no chance of escaping

Kawaki himself is not inherently bad nor does he hate people just for the hell of it, as Naruto said ‘dont you have any sense of sociability?’ to which Kawaki sarcastically replies ‘Hmph...unfortunately it was caused by my bad upbringing’ in reference to what Sarada said earlier

But we see Kawaki does have empathy since he did and does feel bad about breaking the vase and he is going out of his way to make it up to Boruto even though they dont exactly get along Kawaki IS capable of feeling remorse and compassion, he’s just traumatized and doesnt exactly have much experience socially

Bottom line is Kawaki is still very socially inexperienced and is always on edge and on the defensive never knowing when someone’s going to try and hurt him, he has serious trust issues and rightfully so so his treatment of Sarada shouldnt really have been a surprise and even Sarada herself doesnt feed into Kawaki’s insult [the way Boruto does] and just ignores it

If Sarada doesnt care and isnt fazed by the insult why’s the fandom? Sarada’s clearly capable of handling Kawaki, she isnt afraid of him nor does she back down from him and stands her ground

But I love how all the anti’s main argument is about the insult and zero potential when literally this happened after all that

When Sarada see’s Kawaki’s frightened reaction in dropping the vase from his PTSD she realizes Kawaki’s past might be more traumatic then she thought, seeing Naruto hug him and tell him he’s safe here also probably tipped her off to how much Kawaki was really struggling which is when this happened

Sarada tells Kawaki he can rely on her and come to her whenever since she too wants to be Hokage like Naruto is and as Hokage, it is their duty to be there for those in need which in this case is Kawaki

This shows Sarada’s change in attitude towards him from thinking hes just a rude jerk to seeing how frightened he really is, even after Kawaki was rude to her, in the end, she STILL offers to be there for him and to come to her if anything troubles him

Naruto even says that their friends now which Kawaki doesn't deny and just tells Naruto its none of his business ‘shithead’

Funny how he says this to Naruto even after he hugged and comforted him moments ago but its no big deal then right? Im done

I could go on with more panels and go more in-depth with my points but that honestly isnt necessary because the chapter spoke for itself, Kawaki is a very damaged kid with a terrible upbringing and because of it has terrible social skills but isnt a bad person and just wants freedom from those who wish to control and use him

His hostility towards Sarada was reconciled at the end and so was Sarada’s hostility towards him so really the whole ‘he was rude/insulted her!’ or ‘they hate each other!’ or my favorite ‘they have zero potential!’ arguments are all debunked within the chapter

Oh and about the zero potential thing, Sarada mentioning how she’s aiming to be the Hokage too shortly after Naruto hugged and comforted him after his panic attack seems like pretty clear potential to me

She’s basically saying she’s willing to be there for him the way Naruto’s there for him right now which is a pretty good set up for their relationship since Kawaki REALLY needs that support and comfort and most importantly security, if Sarada can offer him that then thats a pretty good start that could build up to something more

But we’re a long ways off from that so I dont even see the big deal yet but apparently anti’s just had to start BS accusing SS shippers of shipping KS because we think its like SasuSaku which I cannot stress enough it ISNT and the only ones who think they ARE is the anti’s themselves so I donno man

All Im sayin is I ship it because I see the potential bond there and I think most of the KS shippers do too, if your anti-KS thats fine but please stop the BS because we all know what its really about
