Kegans niece Y/N and guard dog Nikto
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/b6031cf43bcfef6331990633b9305706/b92be4dfb5a32e9b-f3/s500x750/ed755d79a8de2dd3b979e4027399ed0519a2b50c.jpg)
Summary: Kegans niece is sent to come stay with me on base. She's had enough shit and trauma for a few lifetimes and this isn't the first time she's been sent off somewhere new. Call it a trauma bond or broken x broken bond but Nikto takes an instant liking to her and becomes her guard dog then something more.
note: got some cute fluff, some hurt/comfort, smoking, stalker action, TW trauma and scars, rough sex, TW biting and blood, age gap, Kegan disapproves but she's getting her way.

part 2
next part
She showers the water helps clear her mind. She's still a bit numb and fragile now but tries to keep her mind clear. After she heads to dinner. Kegan brings up the idea of a little trip to Konig, konig says that the nearby town is having a festival soon they can go to he wants to anyway. She's excited now that she has something to look forward to. The next day while smoking with Nikto, âNikto do you have a casual civilian outfit and maskâ, âI'm not a civilian whyâ, âCause next week Konigs letting us go to a festival in town and I wondered if you'd come with meâ, he's amazed she wants him to go with her gives him a new feeling, âI have casual clothes yesâ, âwould you like to go with meâ, âyes we wouldâ, âawesomeâ. He hears how excited she is and is glad he can make her happy, especially after yesterday.Â
He hasn't left base for fun in so long gonna have to dig out his clothes and wash them but anything for her. As the day goes on he thinks more about her words and makes a connection while doing laundry. Krugers in the room and he's always very analytical he can probably figure this problem out for him,â Krurgerâ, âYesâ, âY/N asked me to go with her to the festival next weekâ, â Okay andâ, âWell was she asking us on a date or just to hang out I'm not sureâ,â you don't know if a girl asked you out... oh, of course, you don't, well was her voice higher then usuallyâ, âyesâ, âwas she excitedâ,â yes she seemed very happy about leaving the base for a tripâ, âdid she touch you while askingâ, ânoâ,â did she make eye contactâ, âno we were smoking and my mask she looks away when we smokeâ, âhmm it's possible that it could be either option really she does seem fond of you but you'd have to ask herâ, âoh okayâ.
So that night while walking around base he's nervous to ask and mess things up he's so stupid when it comes to this stuff, and she notes his odd behavior, âNikto what's wrongâ, âOh umm, we'll we have a questionâ, âokay askâ, âwhen you asked me to the festival was it a dateâ. She stops walking a bit shocked she ment it as friends but in the back of her mind she did have that intention of a date but was nervous but now this is perfect we'll I hope so but is he so dense he didn't realize till now, he's nervous now so she takes a deep breath then meets his gaze, âwould you like to go to the festival with me as a date Niktoâ, "yes moy kto I would like thatâ. They are both full of nerves but no longer scared they are excited. They continue walking, âyou should know we are pretty clueless when it comes to umm interpersonal relationsâ, âI'll make sure to be straightforwardâ, âthank youâ.
Everyone is surprised to see Nikto show up to go to the festival essentially seeing him in civis. But she just turns and waves at him excitedly and he waves back, he sits next to her in the chopper after making sure she's properly buckled, the guys give him some weird looks, but that doesn't stop him. âYour wearing makeupâ, âyeah today's special got all dressed upâ, âits niceâ, he's trying his best here really, but everyone thinks they've crashed and died hearing Nikto give a compliment, but she likes it, âthanks you look nice tooâ, âdidn't know you were hiding such nice hairâ, he runs his fingers threw his hair nervously, everyone flabbergasted by this interaction.
They land and Nikto gets off first and lifts her off the chopper and walks close to her as they go into town, âcarefully the paths not clearâ, âNikto you ever been drunk in the woods before?â âumm yes whyâ, âSo have I, and I didn't fall so I'm pretty sure I can do it okay sober in daylightâ, âoh yes I see sorryâ,â it's okay might want you to carry me back laterâ,â just askâ. The guys overheard this and finally put it together something might be going on here. This worries Kegan, he had worried about keeping the young cadets away but this he didn't consider.
They get to the festival and they are glad they went seeing how happy she is to be off base. They walk as a group for a little while checking it out, then split up she goes off with Nikto grabbing his wrist and pulling him off, the guys are slack-jawed when they see this. The guy is known for being a psycho and is happily being dragged around a festival by a girl. Niktos having a good time even though it's a new experience for him he feels that happy spark growing. He's never really spent his money so he's got a lot and refuses to let her pay for a thing, he watches and smiles as eats her cotton candy and treats, he plays some games and wins a stuffed animal for her and likes it. She realizes he hasn't eaten a thing and knows he wouldn't complain if he was hungry so she picks out some food and leads him away somewhere private. âwhere are we going?â, âsomewhere private so you can eatâ. That touches his heart so much, âIt's okay I'm fineâ, âdon't care your eatingâ, âokayâ. They find a spot she hands him the food and turns around, he takes off his mask and eats then puts his mask back on and walks up and puts a hand on her shoulder, âyou are done that was fastâ, âWe eat quickly you can lookâ, she turns and sees him she grabs his wrist again and they head back, some music started playing and they go check it out and run into the guys, âhaving funâ, âoh yeah lotsâ, âgood and you Niktoâ, âyesâ. Konig gives a nod, âSo umm Y/Nâ, âyeah... yes Keganâ, âKegan wants to know if you and Nikto are on a dateâ, âyeahâ, she looks up at Nikto giving him a look asking if it's okay he nods, âyes it is a dateâ, she's just got a big smile and Nikto got a lil smirk under his mask and Kegan is having an aneurism. Krueger knew but was still a little shocked it's real and Konigs confused.Â
âBut he's older then you wait actually how old are you are you even legalâ, âI'm 21â, âlegalâ, âNikto is older but not like she's 18â, âguys he's 34â, â35 actuallyâ, âand you don't have a problem with thatâ, ânopeâ, âwhatâ, âKegan guys my age want a quick easy fuck they can manipulate and put in the least effort possible I don't want that but you know if age is so much of a problem I did see a few cadets who look like fun,â. She is getting in his face challenging him Nikto knows she's just saying what she has to to get at him but he does feel a touch possessive. Konigs impressed, âuhh never mind Niktos perfectâ, âyes he isâ. She grabs Nikto again, âI want more cotton candy pleaseâ, âof course kto (someone)â. Nikto wants to push their buttons a bit to looked fun. They walk away and he gets her her treat, âdon't worry I don't want a cadetâ ,âwe knew you were just pushing him looked funâ, âit wasâ, âyour really okay with our ageâ, âdid you question it before they brought it upâ, ânoâ, âexactly there's no issue just their nonsenseâ. Meanwhile, the guys calm Kegan down.
They head back to the chopper but it's darker now and the paths are not as clear and she's not in the shoes for it and has bad night vision, âNikto I can't see well in the darkâ, he goes to her putting a hand on her back, âWe carry youâ, âpleaseâ, he slings her over his shoulder and carries her to the chopper, âdid you fallâ, âno just bad night vision blue eyes are pretty but kinda uselessâ, he gets on the chopper with her and puts her in her seat and buckles her then himself, âhave fun today?â, âyes a lot ... how do you not get bored on base?â, âWe work out a lot and make cadets do stupid stuff for entertainment, and the game roomâ, âThat wasn't on the tourâ, âYeah we'll it's where guys get drunk so I wanted to avoid thatâ, âI'm legal and have a guard dog now so that better be added to my mapâ, âguard dogâ, she reaches out and pats nikto chest and on cue, he growls, âseeâ, âokay point proven just don't get too drunk pleaseâ, âokayâ. âYou're okay being called a dogâ, âYes.. Y/N try saying this sobachka. âsobachka sobachkaâ, âPerfectâ, âWhat's that meanâ, âDoggyâ she smiles at him. They get back and he lifts her down and walks her to her room, âgood nightâ, âgood night.. I had a really good time with you todayâ. She pulls out the stuffy and hugs it, âI'll be sleeping with this tonightâ, âsleep well ktoâ, âYou too sobachkatâ
He feels the guys staring at him but he's not gonna let them ruin the happiness she gave him, but he sees he's gonna have to say something so after changing back into gear he goes over. âWe are not gonna hurt her weâll take care of her, we know you see the age gap as a bad thing but as she already explained someone her age can't be there the way she needsâ, âIt's hard to trust you, a man with your historyâ. She's the only sane family Kegan has left who doesn't hate him and he has no clue how to help her or what to do. âWe won't hurt her she makes us happy she's preciousâ. âOkay man I won't stand in the wayâ, they part.

ten. âgreatest desireâ
kozume kenma x fem dazai!reader
(bsd x hq)
tw: mentions of suicide, guns & cementaries
masterlist.   suicide freak!
"uh hi.. i know we don't really know each other that much.." atsushi started off. the boy had a nervous smile on his face as he stiffly waves at kenma, with tanizaki and naomi by his sideÂ
"but have you seen y/n-san?" atsushi askedÂ
"y/n? why, what happened to her?" kenma asked worriedlyÂ
atsushi, tanizaki and naomi were stood in front of nekoma's gym, trying to look for the girl, as per the president's wishes. "its been about a day since you guys went out to the arcade, right?" tanizaki chimed in "has she shown herself to you, or atleast texted any of you?"Â
kenma frowned as he shook his head no. he looked back at the team who were trying to act like they weren't eavesdropping.Â
"no.. i just assumed she was busy with work" kenma mutteredÂ
"hmm, i tried to ask ranpo-san but he's too busy" naomi chimed in as she hugged tanizaki's arm to her chestÂ
"oya oya, sorry to barge in on the conversation-" kuroo interjected. the captain had a sly grin on his face as he walked towards the group. "but we just so happen to overhear something about our manager going missing?" kuroo musedÂ
"yes, sorry if we're intruding" atsushi bowedÂ
"but y/n-san went missing again, and the president ordered us to find her in under four hours" tanizaki sighedÂ
"or else we get our asses handed to us" atsushi shudderedÂ
kuroo and kenma gave each other a look and nodded along. "we'll try to look for her later" kuroo said "we'll let you guys know"Â
"thank you so much!" atsushi exclaimed with a smile "would you mind calling the agency if you find her?" he said as he handed them a piece of paper with the agency's numberÂ
"its really hard tracking her down" tanizaki says with a chuckle "when she chooses to disappear, it's like she never existed in the first place"Â
"anyways, we'll be on our way" atsushi excused "we've troubled you long enough"Â
"its no problem.." kenma mutteredÂ
naomi waved them goodbye as they walked away. the duo waving back meekly as they watch their retreating figures disappear.Â
"hey, you okay?" kuroo nudged his friend kenma nodded and looked down at his shoes "yeah.."Â
"i think i'll go look for her now" kenma muttered "eh? kenma, we could just go later" kuroo said with a raised browÂ
"im going. bye" kenma muttered, completely disregarding kuroo as he went straight out the doorÂ
"where's he going?" yaku asked as he peeked his head out the gym doors "he's gonna look for y/n" kuroo answeredÂ
"damn. what a simp" yamamoto sneeredÂ
"wow. that's rich coming from you."Â
"i swear to god.." kenma grumbled "if she ends up getting found in a ditch and i wasted all that time running around for nothing.." he scoffedÂ
he's been running around the streets of tokyo, passing through every street and alleyway to try and look for the girl. so far he hasn't seen a single trace of her, not even a single person who has managed to pass by her.Â
"y/n.." kenma huffed out. he was currently by a riverbank, leaning against the metal railings of the bridge while he tried to catch his breath.Â
"you called?"Â
kenma jumped at the sudden emission of her oh-so-familiar voice, and turned around to face her "what the- y/n?! where did you come from?!" kenma shrieked outÂ
"also, where have you been?! atsushi-kun and a bunch of people from your job came to the school today looking for you" he saidÂ
y/n chuckled and strode over to his side, jumping over the rails and sitting on the flat surface of the bars. "if i told you that the port mafia took me hostage and threatened to execute me, would you believe it?" she musedÂ
"no."Â
"then i won't bother to say" she shruggedÂ
kenma eyed her warily. her port mafia story could actually be believable, now that he thought about it. given as, her bandages were loosened and torn, almost as if they broke off with too much movement. and along with the dried blood resting upon her cheeks and hands.Â
"are you okay?" kenma asked worriedlyÂ
even if it was believable, it could've been just her trying to kill herself yet again. not that it was any better
"of course" she smiled "though my body is a bit sore.. chuuya really doesn't hold back"
kenma froze and slowly turned his head towards her with a blank and emotionless look on his face.Â
"chuuya doesn't what." kenma spat out "did you seriously disappear to hook up with that dog? that-that man child? that eyesore? that-"Â
"what are you talking about?" she laughed
kenma huffed and propped his elbow on the cold metal, resting his chin on his hand as he poutedÂ
"you're really funny, kenma-kun" she musedÂ
"really? cause im not laughing." kenma grumbled "i ran around the whole city for you, only to find out you ran off with some guy"Â his honey hued orbs eyed her down, watching her chuckle softly as the golden rays of the sun illuminated the surroundings around her
"y/n.." he mumbled "why did you really disappear?"Â
"i already told you" she replied with a sigh "the port mafia is truly a force to reckon with"Â
"that's why you gotta stay safe, kenma-kun" she mused "you never know who and when they'll strike next"Â
kenma sighed and nodded along. it was old news -- the port mafia, that is -- its been stirring up the whole city for the past few months.Â
"ne, kenma-kun" she called out "if we do end up dying alongside each other, i suggest we drown ourselves in this river." she saidÂ
she stared down at the flowing water, the golden colour of the setting sun reflecting off of it. "its clear and pretty, not much people are around.. its quite tranquil." she hummed
"i never really understood this.." kenma muttered "but why are you so intent on dying?"Â
"and i never understood you, and so many others." she replied "tell me, kenma.." she turned to face him, her bandaged hands loosely gripping the railings, as her legs and feet dangle off the ledge.Â
"do you really think there's any value in the act of living?"Â
kenma didn't answer. instead he stared at her, and her clouded eyes, each orb holding an unforgivable amount of sin and deciet that he could only imagine.Â
"well.. is there any value in the act of dying?" he asked backÂ
she blinked dumbfoundedly at him, fairly shocked at his question.Â
"isn't there anything else you desire? life is kinda cool too yaknow?" kenma said in a sheepish toneÂ
she stared at him a few minutes longer before averting her gaze. she chuckled and closed her eyes as the cold wind breezed past. "man fears death, and at the same time, man is drawn to death" she saidÂ
"its a singular event in one's life that no one may reverse" she hummed "and that is my greatest desire."Â
kenma didn't know how to reply to that, so he didn't. he simply looked down up at the setting sun, letting silence wash upon them both.Â
"hey kenma" she called out. kenma looked at her, curious and wary. "yes?" he askedÂ
"wanna hang with an old friend with me?" she suggested with a soft smile
"me? won't that be intrusive though? i don't really know them.." kenma muttered nervously
"it's fine. he'd probably be happy i even talk to people my age" she said with a chuckle. she jumped off the railings and landed on the ground with a grin. she stretched her aching arms over her head and patted kenma's back.Â
"he's a lot like you" she mused "always saying life is worth living and all.."Â
"okay then.." kenma agreed reluctantly "but if i sense that person doesn't like me one bit, im leaving." he groaned out
"im pretty sure that won't happen" she chuckled sheepishlyÂ
"why are we in a cementary?" kenma grumbledÂ
"is this where you kill us both?" he scoffed playfully "i wouldn't be surprised if you already have a hole dug for us"Â
she chuckled and shook her head "no, no" she mused "were just taking a small stroll" she cooed as she looked around the awfully empty surrounding "ah! there it is" she perked up "it's been so long since i went here that i almost forgot my way around"Â
kenma followed her as she skipped away, though he was quite confused, he didn't question her.Â
"hurry, kenma" she called out as she watched him struggle to walk faster "i hate you" he grumbled back, which she chose to ignoreÂ
she smiled softly as she stood infront of the oh-so-familiar grave.Â
"geez." she mumbled "its been so long since we hung out, odasaku"Â
"shame we couldn't meet at the usual place" she chuckled and sat down on the grassy ground. she leaned back on the gravestone, resting her back against it as she waited for kenma to arriveÂ
"y/n?" on cue, kenma chimed in. he was panting slightly, most likely from running and walking around for so long "what are you doing?" kenma raised a brow at herÂ
"kozume kenma-kun.." she called out
"yes?" he asnwered
"do you know whose grave this is?" she mused, pointing her thumb to the gravestone she was leaning onÂ
kenma eyed the name engraved on the stone and shook his head. "no..but it's someone dear to you, right?"Â
"what makes you think that?" she hummed out in amusementÂ
"i've never seen you pay visit to a grave before" kenma muttered. the pudding head hesitantly sat down infront of her, bowing at the grave before settling down on the ground.Â
"does it look like im visiting a grave to you?" she asked with curiosityÂ
"it does.. why?"
she smiled softly and leaned her head back, letting it fall and her eyes to land straight at the cloudy sky "well, i thought of it as hanging out with a friend but.." she trailed offÂ
"i guess that works too" she sighed outÂ
kenma frowned as he watched her close her eyes. her smile faltering as a wave of comforting silence washed upon them. "im sorry" kenma muttered "i shouldn't have said anything.."Â
"its fine." she chuckled "its been years since he died." she smiled bitterly "i guess it's time someone snaps me out of my daydreams"Â
kenma didn't respond. he simply toyed with the grass on the ground and the few flowers littered around.Â
"yaknow, kenma" she said with a smile "you're the first person i brought here"Â
"me? why?" kenma asked in surprise and confusionÂ
"because this friend of mine was a good man." she said "he told me to try and look for my reason to live."
"and i think i found it" she whispered as he looked into his eyesÂ
kenma blinked in shock as he basked in her awfully heartwarming words.Â
"my reason to live is to die with you."Â
"of course. its gonna be about suicide again." kenma sighed dejectedly. "but y/n, if you think of me as your reason to live.. then i'll take it upon myself to keep you alive" kenma smiled at her, tucking his blond hair behind his ears as he kept his honey hued orbs trained on hers.Â
"kenma.." she teared upÂ
she blinked repeatedly as she opened her mouth to speak.Â
"i.. I DON'T WANT THAT! I WANNA DIE WITH YOU!" she whined loudly "i already had our suicide planned! i even suggested the whole river thing a while ago!" she exclaimedÂ
kenma deadpanned as he watched her ramble on and on about her ideal double suicide. "i really don't care." kenma groaned out "i don't want you to die." he whined "why do you keep trying to kill yourself"Â
"just because, okay?!"Â
"just for that, im gonna call your agency and hand you over" kenma sighed as he dialled the agency's numberÂ
"traitor!" she shrieked "kunikida-kun will undoubtedly beat me up"Â kenma ignored her as he started speaking on the phone.Â
"yes, she's with me.." he muttered "is she behaved?" he repeated the question as he sent her a pointed glareÂ
"no, not really" he scoffedÂ
"kenma, you're heartless!" she shrieked in horrorÂ
"cmon. let's atleast pay respects to your friend before we leave" kenma said with a sigh "dont worry, kenma-kun! i already thought this through" she grinned. she then pulled out a bottle of sake and a book and placed it on the ground.Â
"you brought him alcohol? seriously?" kenma furrowed his browsÂ
"hey, it's two of his favourite things, okay?" she defended with a laughÂ
"do you know how ridiculous i looked while buying these things at the store?" she chuckled "they thought i was a madman or something!"Â
"i would've too" kenma answered backÂ
"you're so mean to me, kenma" she pouted "anyways, we should go." she said as she dusted her pants and unravelled a thin layer of her torn bandages.Â
"i can't wait to tell you about this suicide method i learned about." she beamed. she tugged on his arm and pulled him away as she continued to blabber on his ear "apparently this one does the job right away!" she exclaimedÂ
"can you believe it, kenma?"Â
"wow. crazy." he replied drylyÂ
"yeah, and all we gotta do is shoot ourselves with these guns-"Â
"no."Â
"oh my, this almost feels like a welcome home party!" she cheered. she gave the detectives a close eyed smile while they simply stared back at her with a look of agitation and worryÂ
"where the hell were you?!" kunikida exclaimed angrily as he tapped his foot on the groundÂ
"the port mafia!" she answered back nonchalantlyÂ
they all perked up in surprise from her claim. "huh?! the port mafia?!"Â
"hai hai! but don't make a big deal about it!" she chuckled as she waved her hands dismissivelyÂ
"you could've died!" kunikida exclaimed "now, now! i'd like to think of it as akutagawa-kun needing some attention that's all" she jokedÂ
"jesus christ" kunikida sighed as he adjusted his glasses "that boy could kill you and you still won't take him seriously"Â
"anyways, why is he here?"Â he asked as he pointed to kenma, who simply ignored him and avoided their eyes as he played on his phoneÂ
"oh! he's the one who found me, so i thought it'd be right for me to repay him"Â she smiled brightly as she squeezed kenma to her chest, all while he unbotherdly continued on with his game
"i've thought of so many fun things we could do back in my dorm, hehehe~"Â she chuckled mischievously as kenma's face paled. she only gripped him tighter when he tried to scurry away.Â
"i- i see.." kunikida stuttered out. he looked at them with wide eyes as she started squeezing him tighter while kenma tried to pry her offÂ
"y/n, you're strangling me!" kenma huffed out "i know!" she grinnedÂ
"we'll leave you two alone then!" kenji said with his usual smile as he ushered the others awayÂ
"they're worse than tanizaki-kun and naomi-san.." atsushi shuddered "that's because she's trying to kill him" tanizaki sweat droppedÂ
"and herself, as well" yosano sneered "go get your man!" she cheered as she sent y/n a sneaky winkÂ
"yosano-san! don't encourage her!"

Summary: You hate Halloween and of course you hate Halloween parties. But whoâs this handsome guy whoâs looking at you?
Warnings: not my best work, Iâm sorry.
Words: 1821
You roll your eyes, sighing at your own stupidity. For the umpteenth time tonight, you're wondering what you were thinking about when you agreed to come. Of course, Sofia is your best friend, and she is the one who asked you to go with her.
Yet, you should have known better.
You dislike Halloween. Scratch that. You hate Halloween and everything about it with a passion. You hate dressing up. You hate cobwebs, fangs, zombies and skeletons. You even hate squash soup, and that's saying a lot!
But yeah, your friend can be convincing when she has a mind to be. And that's why you're here â almost against your will, so to speak â at Ben's house. Ben with whom Sofia slipped away over an hour ago. Probably upstairs. You don't even want to think about what they're doing right now.
Anyway, you're here, and that's all that mattersâŚ
The pounding music is too loud, the people too drunk, the place too crowded. If it wasn't for the handsome stranger who hasn't stopped looking at you since you showed up, you wouldn't be here anymore.
Nervously pulling and tugging on the little black dress borrowed from Sofia â oh no, not a simple black dress, a black dress with fucking skeleton print â you make up your mind and head toward the makeshift bar. You need a drink if you intend to stay. Something strong, possibly.
A 'Vampire Cocktail' in hand, you slowly cross the room. With every step, you can feel the stranger's gaze upon you; and you know with unsettling certainty that if you look back at him, he wouldnât lower his eyes.
He was apparently alone, does not talk to anyone, or dance, and didn't look at anyone but you.
You should feel embarrassed, or even upset, but you arenât. Knowing that his eyes are staring at you like that is surprisingly pleasant. And you can't help but feel hopelessly drawn to him, almost magnetically, or magically. Because strangely, wherever you are in the room, the man is there, never more than a few steps away from you.
The room may be dark, but you still can see the otherworldly blue of his eyes. You're entranced, fascinated, mesmerized.
Giving him a shy smile, you quickly avert your gaze, blushing. As you raise back your head, the man is gone, but when a gloved hand brushes against yours, you know it's his, without a doubt.
"Shall we go out?" He asks with a sultry voice that sends shivers down your spine. Even if he gives you a questioning look, his hand gesturing toward the large patio door, you know it's a rhetorical question. You don't have a choice and you don't mind it. The stranger wraps a strong arm around your waist, leading you toward the backyard.
You follow him willingly, almost obediently, a small smile playing on your lips. He leads you without saying a word, and as soon as the patio door closes behind you, the only sound you can hear is the thud of his cane on the gravel.
"Better here, right?" He takes a seat on a porch swing, inviting you to do the same.
"I have been dreaming of this moment for so long." His voice is hoarse as he slightly leans toward you, boldly resting a hand on your knee.
Confused, you want to ask him what he means. After all, you met for the first time less than two hours ago. But you don't get the chance, since he speaks again. "Very nice dress, by the way."
Scrutinizing you in the bright moonlight, he looks at you shamelessly, his gaze stopping first on your neck, then your cleavage, your breast and finally your fishnet stocking-clad thighs.
Intimidated, you blush and say the first thing that pops into your head. "Your⌠your Halloween costume is a piece of art. It's so⌠realâŚ"
"My⌠what?" Quirking a brow, the man looks at you in disbelief.
"YourâŚ," your shaky voice gives away your nervousness, "Your Dracula costume is⌠magnificent."
You're not lying. His clothing is stunning. From his three-piece suit â obviously made of luxury fabrics â to his silk cape of extremely high quality, everything suggests that his complete outfit is undoubtedly very expensive.  As for his cane, you're willing to bet that its snake-shaped handle is made of⌠gold, no less. In any case, it's impressive and the handsome stranger makes a vampire truer than nature.
Visibly taken aback by your last assertion, the man just stares at you with wide eyes. It's as if what you just said didn't make sense to him. When an icy wind swirls suddenly around you and makes you shiver, he eventually speaks sternly, almost as he were scolding you, his jaw tight. "This is not a costume."
You're baffled, puzzled, confused. 'This is not a costume?' What does he mean? Â
"What⌠I don't⌠Whaâ" You sputter, unable to gather your thoughts. Your heart hammering in your chest, you feel a knot growing in your stomach. Something feels wrong. Something feels very wrong.
His piercing blue eyes staring into yours, you want to avert your gaze, overwhelmed and slightly scared. But when he speaks again, it's with a velvet like voice that soothes you immediately, erasing your discomfort. "Shh⌠It's okayâŚ"  You wonder for a brief moment how someone can change their mood so quickly. You don't dwell on it though, because when he gives you a closed-lips smile, gentle and sweet, it melts your heart and you realize that, as if by magic, your fear is gone, replaced by desire and attraction.
What strange power does this man have over you?
Slowly, one finger at a time, the stranger takes off his gloves and places them on the swing next to him, while staring at you the whole time.
As he reaches out, his hand just inches from your face, you can't resist, and you don't want to. The pull is too powerful, the longing too strong. You want him to touch you. You need him to and so you lean forward, craving for his skin against yours.
But as soon as his fingers graze your cheek, you freeze, bemused and appalled.
They are cold. Abnormally cold. Ice-cold. Colder than⌠death. You swallow loudly and then get up hastily. "I⌠I sh⌠should⌠goâŚ" You stammer, panic flooding your body. You want to run away but the man doesn't give you the chance as he grabs your wrist, squeezing it tight. " That would be extremely rude when we've only just met, don't you think?" His voice is a whisper, his tone soft but you know you don't really have a say, nor a choice.
Slowly getting up, he leans on his cane, wraps his free arm around your waist and draws you closer. He's so unnaturally strong, you can't even move as a cold wave washes over you. "I'll be gentle if you do as I say." He mumbles, his mouth against your ear.
Questions plague your mind suddenly. Why is he so pale? Why can't you feel his breath on your face? Why are his eyes bloodshot? Why didn't you notice anything earlier? You're terrified now, aware of the danger with absolute certainty.
"Who⌠Who are you?" You don't even know how you manage to babble those words. You feel weak and unsteady on your shaky legs. If it wasn't for his firm grip, you would certainly have fallen down by now.
"It's okay, Y/NâŚ" He says once again, and you want to believe him, despite your fear, despite the⌠cold. A little voice in your head whispers that you never told him your name, but it doesn't matter, not when he's looking at you with so much tenderness.
What is he doing to you?
"I'm Ivar." His reassuring voice is gentle, as is his smile. "Ivar Ragnarsson." He doesn't say anything else but it's enough. That's all you need to know. You're relieved. He's Ivar. Of course. Who else â what else â could he be? You've been so silly. All those strange things⌠The cold, his eyes, his breathing â or his lack of â there is necessarily a pragmatic explanation for each of them. The truth is you don't care. He's Ivar. A handsome and very considerate stranger that you want to get to know better, and that's enough. Everything is fine. It's okay, he's right.
"IvarâŚ", you eventually repeat softly, and you love the way his name rolls off your tongue. Chuckling, you can feel yourself relaxing in his embrace. "You're going to think I'm dumb, you know? I wondered for a moment if you weren't aâŚ", you gasp, feeling shy and embarrassed, but Ivar just looks at you, patiently waiting for you to carry on, and that's what you do. "⌠A vampire, you know. But obviously you're not. You're just a guy my age, with a fantastic Halloween costume, and it seems that I can't think properly, because who would think you're some kind of monster? That's insane, and I'm so sorry, and now I'm going to shut up because I'm pathetically rambling and if I continue I'm sure you won't want anything to do with me and that would be a shame because Iâ Oh my god, sorry!!" Covering your mouth with your hand, you blush as you realize what you were going to say. 'Because I'd love to kiss you, touch you, feel youâŚ'
What is he doing to you?
Ivar keeps quiet, a semi-amused smile on his face. Eventually, he closes his eyes and then tilts his head back. "So, you thought I was a⌠how did you say?... a monsterâŚ" You can almost hear his grin.
"I know," you say shamefully, "that's stupid! You're allowed to laugh at me, you know? I won't get mad, really. I don't know what went through my head. A monster! What a ridiculous thought!!"
Ivar giggles while keeping his eyes shut. "Maybe not. You know what they say⌠We are all someone's monsterâŚ"
And then, he opens his eyes. And everything goes faster.
His eyes turn black. A feral growl escapes his lips. His smile is a predatory one.
You can clearly see his pointy fangs.
And you feel weirdly calm. You're not surprised, and you're ready. You need him, all of him.
"I don't know if it's trueâŚ", you don't recognize his voice, hoarse and raspy, but you don't mind, as you don't mind when he pushes your hair away, his teeth already grazing the delicate skin of your neck.
"However,â He mutters as you arch against him unwittingly, "there is one thing that I can say for certain. I'm definitely yours."
And right after that, sharp fangs piercing down into the flesh of your neck, a burning pain lances through you, fading soon into an aching pleasure. You release a gasp, bucking your hips.
 "Please, unravel me, Ivar."
What did he do to you?
