i dont understand peoples concerns about celeborn. like i dont care what reddit dudebros want, they dont work there and nothing the show has done makes them happy anyway.

all i know is the casting in the show is top notch. anyone with any interesting interaction has *insane* chemistry, from dwarves to elves, whether friends or enemies, young or old. i trust the casting directors to do their job if the writing calls for it. and i trust whoever they hire to do their job bc im sure they will be an amazing actor that understands the assignment.

im here for new and interesting stories being told. i dont want galadriel to get stagnant. im excited for galadriel and Gandalf, for example, and whoever else galadriel will interact with. if the writers have a great celeborn plotline, lets do that. and if they dont, they wont shoehorn him in to a packed script.

galadriel and sauron's plotline pretty much already happened, not that they wont have more moments but she is gonna need new subplots if we want more galadriel in the story. and if they have something neat in store for building lothlorien, i want to see that. if she is dealing with guilt/shame over what happened to her from being seduced/mindfucked by sauron, i think that is an interesting emotional journey. and if they dont have a story to tell i trust the writers not to add things for no reason.

like hate amazon or the exec producers all you want, but trust writers and casting and actors, they are all workers and artists. and workers deserve respect in their craft and the freedom to tell their story. look at how awesome charles edwards and sam hazeldine were this season and how adding those relationships made the ensemble show so much richer. plus we have no idea if this is even a thing.

I love you all, but you have the wrong parallel. We love Rhaenyra asking Alicent to fly across the narrow sea and eat only cake, but it's Rhaenyra and this Alicent that mirror each other. It's the smiles, and that halting breath.
