hey i want to try out baroque, whats the best version to play? or if im just interested in the story, is watching a playthrough on yt enough?

Pick your poison between the ps1 and dreamcast releases. Id say dreamcast cus its the most gorgeous damn game ive ever seen. But ps1 has some good QoL additions and lore. You could probably watch a playthru of either too yeah but I dunno how much they go out of their way to see. Id genuinely say just playing one with a guide is the best, and then after seeing the true ending, looking up other tidbits or exploding the Nerve Tower website. Its a goldmine. But yeah. Avoid the wii/ps2 releases and pick what u prefer for the og stuff. The fantranslation is frankly better than the official stuff atlus did anyways LOL.
