this is all so irrelevant but I finished school like a week ago so I'm like free forever (I'm doing externals next year so like this is my last period of freedom before becoming an academic slave to the education system)

Also hallway crush update. So like 2 weeks ago on a random Saturday I wake up and I get a notification on Instagram and its a message from him and so obviously I'm like dying and dead and decomposing and so I wait 17 minutes and I finally open it and it's this dumb fucking reel of this girl with a dog and he was like "look, it's you" (he uses punctuation over text which okayyy come here you cuteass nerd) now obviously I have no idea what the fuck that means, is he saying I look like a dog??? (Keep in mind this is the first time we've ever texted so huhhh) and so I'm like "bro what 💀" and he says that he meant the GIRL and not the dog. Which okay, yeah, that makes sense. But then again we literally do NOT talk. Like EVER. The most contact we've had before then was all the post-exam debriefs where my friends and his friends are talking about wether the answer to question 18 is 3.5 or 3.6 (we go to a "gifted" school so really we're all just a bunch of nerds) ANYWAYS NOT THE POINT. the point is that this was all so fucking random. Also the girl does NOT look like me. I asked some of my friends and even my mom and they all said that she does though so 💀 anyways I tell him that I don't really see it and he goes "look in the mirror. She could be your sister" and so at this point I am dumbfounded by this man's nonexistent texting skills and im like "well maybe she is ill have to check" and bro LEAVES ME ON READ 💀💀 which totally sucks but like it's fine I guess. Now I do have an issue here and that is that there's this girl in his class and I do think that he may be into her. My friends from his class say that they talk all the time and I see how he is around her, then again she DOES have a boyfriend (and a reputation of stringing every single breathing male along) but I'm worried that he likes her 😔😔 ANYWAYS I do hope that we're in the same class next year 💀💀

Hiii sorry for replying a bit late! I have lots of horror movies I love to watch so I’ll give a couple we should watch together! The Ritual, Marrowbone, Hereditary, The Thing and The Lodge!! (also not a horror movie but it comes up when I search for horror movies I’ve watched on Letterboxd, Death Becomes Her!!!) Think there’s a theme of horror/thriller movies I like starting with The… never noticed that until here and there’s more in horror movie list…

Anyways, Harry’s costume!!! So unexpected to me, I loved it! And his cover?! Everything I wanted and more. Sounds like a fun time, what did you dress as? And I didn’t have any Halloween plans this year unfortunately! Just carved pumpkins with my family the day before which was nice!

I’m good as well! I’ve been reading Frankenstein (for the first time) and it’s great! The cover art for it is so cool and it’s from 1970!!! I’m being extremely careful with it and once I’m done reading it (only like 70ish more pages I think) I’m gonna get another copy for rereads/annotations so I don’t mess up the frail book and somewhat fragile cover that’s falling away from age. I’ve just reset my calendar which is always fun since it’s a whiteboard and has some cork next to it so I stick some postcards or photos or whatever there! Alright, that’s enough about me!

I hope you get your paper finished! I can’t imagine how stressful it is having it be the same day as the album launch and everyone doing countdown posts! I believe in you, you’ve got this and you’re gonna do great! You can do it! Sending you positive thoughts and anything else you need! -🤍🤍🤍

hiii no worries !! oooh those all look good, i think the only one ive seen is hereditary a couple of years ago when i lived in halls and i liked it!! creepy as hell and kinda jumpscare-y if i remember right but me and my flatmates watched it together and had a sleepover in the living room so i think that probably helped. akdskkd it is really common in horror movies maybe it adds to the suspense or smthn idk.

hi! i hope you're doing well! i'm so sorry for taking forever to send this but this week has been ✨ stressful ✨ i'm supposed to get my first decision from a uni on tuesday which is like too soon yet too far all at the same time. and all of my teachers gave so much projects/exams this week and next week and realistically it's bc they have to fill up the gradebook before the mid-quarter progress reports are released + finish up stuff before winter break but I FEEL LIKE THE UNIVERSE HATES ME! anyway i've been sleeping terribly & getting stress-induced nightmares like every night :( the one good thing is that since i've been so stressed abt my schoolwork, i haven't been thinking abt the decision as much as i would probably be if i had less work? idk this turned into a RANT i'm sorry 🥺
