interesting to see sentiments over Aang's trauma being so punitive revenge focused w zero self awareness that Aang fought for the opposite reaction to his pain and suffering

#wishing death and pain on civilians who had nothing to do w Aang's genocide isnt v balance to the world of you #youll never be an air nomad w attitude like thqt #its just incredibly ironic given the major themes of compassion in the face of cruelty #wisdom over pride and appeasing righteous rage #valuing all life no matter where it comes from #and then looking at the boy who fought to remember that and remind the world of that #and thinking that the fire nation suffering the air tempke's fate would do anything but break Aang's heart
