Tell me a fact about your oc and I will respond with a semi-related fact about mine!

As a Tynnan native to Tynna, Zivs biology and physic is literally build for cold weather. Tynna is a beautiful planet consisting of large, frostcovered forest, frozen oceans and big icy lakes. Accordingly her species has a thick, waterproofed pelt with glands secreting oil to repell water that is pushed in the pelt ; under this pelt that is even able to ward off hits and prevents most bruising there is a thick layer of isolating bladder; and if that would not be enough to keep a Tynnan warm in the homeplanets icy oceans, they also have a madly high metabolism that heats them up and in combination with their fatlayer and pelt that would not let this heat out, makes them able to feel very comfortable in temperatures down to drenched wet -50° celsius. This in combination of Ziv not beeing able to sweat because of her pelt and her albinism, of course makes her very sensetive to heat and in her specific cases even extreme heatstrokes. Let alone the fact how much Zv needs to eat to keep her metabolism running without it starting to eat off her natural layer of fat.

However, Ziv also loves the coldness. As she had grown up away from her Homeplanet, she had barely ever expierenced snow and if she is on a planet where there is snow and let alone cold oceans and lakes,she will definitive roll herself in the snow and swim in the icecold bodies of water. Its the simple fact that there always stays a element of uncomfortableness and wrongness when she is in other areas- of course she can also swimm in lakes of moderate climated planets and of course she would be able to live on desertplanets and work in the heated greenhouses of Agriculture-cooperations, that is her work and her life and nothing to get existantial over. Yet, even when she has adjusted to those enviorments and had to learn how to keep herself more or less healthy and working in those, she always longs for Tynnas coldness. Thats what she is born for and thats where she feels the most comfortable and happy.

PROMPTS I’D LIKE TO RECEIVE, PART ONE & PART TWO !

As before mentioned Ziv uses the basic Force-Ability to sharpen her own senses to of course compensate for her horrible eyesight and the fact that she is a 120cm tall alien and therefor usually only dangerouse to most Humanoids kneecaps. However, enhancing her own senses this much has its downsides: For one Ziv very easy gets spacesick, as in- her senses are so keen that she automatically notice that the enviorment of a staship or a starport are artificial. Of course every single person notices and knows that the enviorment on a starship is fake, but that does not mean that their senses and body notice this. In Zivs case her body when realizing that she is in a area that is not natural starts to reacts violently to this “fakeness” by causing her nausea, headaches, insomnia and dizzyness.

Its normal spacesickness sympthomes that every alien can expierence when unlucky, however Zivs  space-sickness sympthomes might also be even worsen by the herbal drugs she uses on a daily basis to fire on her metabolism. The other downside of Ziv automatically enhancing her senses with the force, is that along the spacesickness Ziv becomes keenly aware at ever second of the day that she is on a starship/starstation. She is aware that  is in a literal big tin in the middle of space,that at every second it only needs one single not working wire that could disturb the artificial atmosphere and turn this shell into her coffin, that she is trapped in this steel shell for everything beyond its walls was soundless  and airless and frozen dead, that she is as soon as stepping on a starship/starstation trapped and her actions are limited. This is of course something most people know and realize during spacetravel, but usually they just shove it at the back of their head. However in Zivs case, whenever she tries to do that, her keen senses remaind her that the air she is breathing is artificial, that the gravitiy is not real, that beyond the ships shell there is only empty nothingness. With her keen senses, Ziv can not ignore what is around her even if she wishes to do so. She knows at every second that she is trapped, unable to leave and everything beyond the ship means her sure death.

In other words: Beeing on starstations, starships and artificial viable made areas on planets make Ziv horrible claustrophobic. It has barely a effect on the Tynnan when she is on Planets, for she knows that if she feels trapped she will be able to open a window or a door and go out wherever she wants. But on spacestations/ships this room is limited and Ziv will flee to long corridors and big rooms to keep her phobia under control until she is eventually able to leave on proper ground. However as longer a travel in space becomes, she will become less and less able to sleep until she is forced to knock herself out with herbs, she will become restless, she will become highstrung, agressive and nervouse, and if she is forced into a small cabine she will become even violent and panicky.
