my dad has been saying for years that he wants to learn english but he refuses to start classes bc he wants to find one that will make him like native-speaker level fluent in less than a year. my guy that is not how learning a language works, you dont even have like a basic understanding of english. that isnt a dig or an insult learning a new language you know almost nothing about as a fully grown man is gonna be hard!!!!! i started studying english when i was like, 6, which is probably the best age to start learning, and it still took me 7 years to become more or less fluent!!!! its not gonna happen overnight!!!! just go to fisk or ccaa like the rest of us
