We've been making house floor plans for the litpm au because thats what we've latched onto extremely autistically, the house they live in for most of the story has been finished, but now we're working on a farmhouse (because all tmnt iterations have a farmhouse arc) and farmhouses are sooooo not our typical style, its kinda a super american thing, australian farmhouses are kinda just regular houses but shittier, they're not even bigger, so we're looking at floor plans and stuff to get a better idea of how they're typically laid out and man, y'all really go nuts with the bathrooms huh? Especially in the bigger places, some of these houses have one bathroom for each bedroom, shits nuts

#we're certainly not going that extensive #its fiction sure its not like we have financial limitations but when you go overboard with architecture its immediately noticeable #and will make the place feel less grounded #its GOOD to have painfully small rooms and unfortunate bedroom amounts and sizes #makes it feel like the characters have to fit into the place instead of having something made to fit them #all homey and real yknow?#so. how to make a realistically small farmhouse work. this is gonna require more research
