#doctor who#its either survivors of the flux or mawdryn undead for me#they both cause fundemental problems#any other problems you can pick a time period#and reconcile any discrepencies#sarah-jane is rounding when she says shes from 1980#the calendars are out of date#etc#but those two#they literally do not work#probably mawdryn undead is worse?#its more fundemental to the UNIT dating controversy#without that it'd be a minor quibble in the continuity#a fun little easter egg#oooh look they made a mistake by implying its the 70s#but with it the timeline is fundemantally broken
