#*#just watched a fancam composed primarily of my mitch gifs lol#what a coincidence that a fancam dropped containing half my gifs#a few days after i post a gifset with all those gifs in it#like do y’all think its not obvious#they’ll use random obscure gifs that they obviously never couldve had video for#bc its from a totally random part of a game a year ago#and then get praised for all their talent#their talent for what? saving gifs from peoples blogs and getting likes off it?#and it doesn’t even make sense to use our gifs half the time bc the source video would be higher quality than the compressed tumblr gif#but guess its just easier to steal#if you want to use peoples gifs you have to give them credit even if youre changing it by slapping a filter and song on top#i am....... tired#and my least favorite excuse is ‘i forgot where i got them from’#okay so search????#or dont save gifs if ur prone to reposting them without credit bc you cant be assed to find the op#gifmakers can yell themselves hoarse ab this issue and twitter/ig people will never listen bc they don’t actually give a shit#they see content creators as a convenient bank where they can take our shit for free and never get called out for it#this has turned into a more general gif stealing rant than fancam one but im still annoyed ab that#its also never worth calling out bc theyll be like ‘uwu sorry’ then do it again like it changes nothing
