umemiya. would really love and adore having a family of his own. signs up for every parenting class available and has a notebook of every piece of advice from each person in town. surprisingly doesn't freak out about the things that can go wrong and instead talks about the future.

suo. is a romantic at heart. not that he swoons at romance, but he is naturally very confident in his approach to it, but not obviously so. it's a subtle type of romance. he isn't shy to give compliments, gifts, signs of affection. if anyone says something about the person he enjoys, he'd be sure to repay the favor.

jou. into adulthood, he would have a completed horimono. they tell a story and were done by a friend of a friend of an elderly man he jokes with at the bath house. it would most likely be in the munewari style. while getting it done, he is relatively quiet and uses the time to reflect.

kaji. very gentle with his partner in most realms. doesn't have a lot of romantic history and so any affection is treated like a precious stone. he cherishes that stone, but holding it in his hands terrifies him. the thought of breaking it is too much for him handle, so he would rather look at it from afar.

his name is maximilian anthony thomas ( if he turns out to be the killer i’m gonna laugh because i really did give him 3 first names ) but honestly just max is fine ^^

he’s the child to two ABSOLUTE UNITS of women. both of them are olympic medalists in the athletics category. even his sperm donor dad ( who, yes, also helped raise him ) was a big time baseball player who now coaches one of the best international teams, so to say that he is SPORTS BOY would almost be an understatement.

his sport of choice is easily track, but he also really enjoys baseball, basketball, soccer, and, later on in life, football. if it’s got a ball or allows him to run, chances are he plays it.

he was winning medals as early as 7 years old and had enough for a full wall by the time he was 10. boy is a legacy and it SHOWS.

he doesn’t like it when people try to give him things just because of his name or who his parents are. he would much rather get things through his own hard work. at the same time, he hates losing and is willing to do not so great things in secret if it means he’ll win.

he had known her since they were wee babies, and they were definitely friends first. whenever they played house, he was always the dog looooong before he played her husband.

the two were always real & honest with each other, and it’s safe to say that he knew the true her before she got all caught up in her loneliness and secret hoarding.

SHE was the one to ask HIM out not long after starting middle school, making them each other’s first like . . . actual relationship. ( though tbh, she moreso DEMANDED he be her boyfriend, rather than properly asking him aslkfjasdf he could never say no to her though so it didn’t really matter )

they wound up having an off-&-on relationship for SIX YEARS. in late-ish high school, he could feel her drifting away so he told her his secret, thinking it would stop her from being bored of him. unfortunately she ended up breaking up w/ him the next day.

[ STALKING TW ] before long she was already seeing someone new. that triggered his jealous streak, and between that and his fear that she was going to tell someone his secret, he started stalking her. at first it was just lining up their schedules so he could always keep an eye on her, but eventually he got access to her social media logins and started keeping tabs on her private conversations. she’d shown him some of her own hacking tricks when they were still together, so even when she changed her passcodes, it was a simple crack before he was snooping through her shit again.

eventually she confronted him about the fact that she was constantly seeing him everywhere, though still unaware of the fact that he was the one that was hacking into her accounts. he played it off, and while she did tell the authorities about it, that was about the end of it. he stopped stalking her for a couple of years after following her to st ettienne, and things mellowed out between them.

he joined student council that year, and after that him and daisey started to talk a lot more again. they even kinda became friends again. one night, she was having a rough time so she called him. after a quiet night of talking and looking at the stars, she kissed him. it was really great, up until she shoved him away and said it was a mistake, going right back to ignoring his existence the very next day. this caused him to fall back into his stalking habits, finding them a comfort.

this time, she finds out that its HIM going through her social media, and she pulls him aside privately at the homecoming party to yell at him. she even says that she’s going to expose his secret for being such a creep. it’s then that he sees her for what she really is, rather than the rose-colored image he’d been seeing before.

that’s the last he ever sees of daisey rutherford, and he can’t tell if he’s grateful or heartbroken for that.

Kaede is a cute protag. She’s got a bit more quirkly-dangan flavor than Naegi and Hajime even though I love both of them (actually having a talent can help with that...though I kinda miss Hajime’s snark). Also I like how they show her motivational speeches working....and then slowly falling apart as everything goes to hell. 88 points

Shuichi is also cute. give this boy some self confidence 85 points + 5 more to give him some self confidence something bad’s definitely gonna happen to one of these lil friends

Himiko’s existence sends me into a crisis. how does magic work in dangan ronpa. its not established, does it even exist???? i feel like we’re not supposed to know, and that’s the entire sick joke. For gundam we knew he was probably full of BS but... also the personality they chose for her adds to the audience frustration that we will just NEVER KNOW how magic works, but...idk i’m not digging it yet. maybe im just extra wary of character made to look really young bc of the creeps :/ :/ 60 points

Kirumi. I feel there’s no way a maid character won’t be a total badass. So far im just concerned for her health. 75 points but with great point investment potential

Maki  well she’s not what i expected. also her title is a fucking mouthful. she could’ve been Ultimate Nanny. or Ultimate Babysitter. Ultimate Guardian even? but that’s dangan ronpa i suppose. She’s intriguing, just haven’t seen enough of her yet. I smell tragic backstory. 70 points

Tsumigi ah finally. a cosplayer. I like her so far. yup. 88 points

Tenko. Well. yeah. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yeah really not liking her. And finally we have Miu. At first i was very afraid seeing as she’s WEARING LITERAL BONDAGE GEAR and seems to be our main dirty joke character. But I’ve warmed up to her. She’s clearly one of the more useful characters but the fact she’s so fuckign hard to deal with was interesting. Also certain interactions with her have been intriguing, there’s clearly something goin on with her. I’m still conflicted but I’ve decided I want to like her and I hope the writing keeps helping me out with that. 77 points (lucky numbers!!)

growing up on the upper east side of new york, leticia definitely lived an opulent lifestyle. born to a father who worked in real estate, and a socialite mother, leticia had everything most people were longing for in their lives: happiness, popularity, and wealth. and yet, in her perspective—she was missing something, and hadn’t quite figured out what it was. the majority of her childhood was just her going through the motions of what everyone else was doing, or telling her to do. even though this caused her to be outgoing, her lifestyle never really allowed her to grow as an individual.

leticia’s life was set up for her in more ways than one. and one of those ways was her ex-boyfriend, aden. much like the rest of leticia’s upbringing, this duo was bound to happen. they grew up together, went on vacations together, and all they really knew was each other. these two were practically inseparable, or at least that’s what anyone would say if you’d ask about the lovebirds. and for the most part, the two were happy. that is, until one drunken night at a party happened—causing leticia to become pregnant.

once the two figured out that leticia was pregnant, it all went downhill from there. they chose to hide it from their parents until they figured out a way to break the news to them. however, aden’s parents found out through him, and the two families had a meeting to discuss what they should do. it seemed like everyone around leticia was choosing for her, and never really putting her feelings into account. in her eyes, she was actually happy about having a baby. was it ideal? no. but at least it gave her a purpose, of some sorts. due to all the stress and drama around her, she had a miscarriage while in an argument with her parents.

after having her miscarriage, leticia was broken, to say the least. she began picking all the faults in her lifestyle, and those around her. she was sick and tired of seeing the same places, and being stuck in a life that will ultimately end up making her some rich man’s wife. so, she applied for universities out of state, and got into university of san diego. all of these decisions were made much to her parents dismay, but they felt a certain responsibility to stand by her decisions since they didn’t during her short-lived pregnancy. she uprooted her life to san diego the summer before her schoolyear began, and she fell in love with the city. even though the city wasn’t as fast-paced as new york, she found herself doing things with more confidence and purpose. being on her own gave her the backbone she was in desperate need for, and that would’ve never happened if she hadn’t moved out.

when first moving to san diego, leticia also applied for a store clerk position at bloomingdales. since then, she has worked her way up to an assistant manager position. for the most part, she enjoys her job because style is almost second nature to her due to her upbringing. If there was one thing she knew, it was fashion. she grew up around women who were stylish, and ultimately, had the money to be so. her confidence in her work is what gives her an advantage, and it also gave her the idea to start her own fashion blog: styledbyleticia. the posts on her blogs range from ootd’s, to her opinions on upcoming trends in the fashion industry. she started posting towards the beginning of her junior year, and since then her blog has gained a pretty large audience (ranging around 200k or so??) and it’s still growing! she’s also a journalism major, as she hopes to someday work as a fashion editor for a magazine.

as of recent, leticia was cut off by parents since she refused to come back home once she graduates from ucsd next year. everything she endured has only made her stronger in other people’s eyes, and more importantly—her own. from being a somewhat timid young girl, to taking her life by its horns; leticia is not someone to mess with anymore. this is why i’ve labeled her as ‘the phoenix’. she was able to put up with hardships, and grow from them. now, she’s not afraid to speak for what she believes in, and she knows how to get what she wants because she finally knows what she wants. but, don’t be fooled, she can often be judgmental and come off as rude to some people (lives for drama!! ;)) however, she’s also very giving & puts a lot of passion into any endeavor she takes on in life &i think that will definitely be something everyone around her can see.
