would love to hear ur headcanons for the canon couples (Nalu, Gruvia, Jerza, Gajevy) as first time parents
Fun fact: I actually wrote a fic about them adopting children (well Jerza, Nalu, and Elfever) if anyone is interested in that :)
Nalu
Lucy is literally stressed out the whole time
Natsu is pretty chill but his protectiveness has tripled
Lucy is the strict parent and Natsu is the fun one, but he will back Lucy up when needed
Unfortunately because of his heightened senses, Natsu really struggles with the baby crying. It's way louder for him and even hurts when he's holding the baby (too close to the ears)
Natsu struggles to sleep too. One because of the baby waking him up, but also because he is super protective and wakes up multiple times a night just to check on the baby (Lucy also doesn't sleep through the night but Natsu more so)
Lucy cheats and summons her spirits to help look after the baby. It really helps the new parents get time to rest (and also her spirits love the little baby so its a win win)
While they take turns working, Lucy usually stays home more. She knows Natsu needs to get out all his energy and she has no problem being a stay at home mom (at least for a little bit)
Gruvia
Juvia is literally always crying. Everything the baby does causes Juvia to burst into tears
Gray is in love. He's literally always cooing over the baby
They fight over who has to be the strict parents because both of them wanna be the fun one. Usually Juvia ends up as the strict one
Gray worries so much about the baby that he spends most nights sleeping in the nursery. Juvia keeps a spare blanket and pillow in there now, just so he can be more comfortable
The entire house is covered in toys (and other baby things). It has completely taken over their lives
Neither of them wanna work because they want to spend as much time with their baby as possible (unfortunately they have to so they take turns and only take simple jobs)
Juvia knits cute little onesies for the baby. She makes little dolls too. The dolls match the onesies. Its adorable
Jerza
Erza is super prepared and can literally handle any baby issue (throw up, diaper, teething, etc). She's got everything
Jellal on the other hand is always panicking. The baby hiccups? He's freaking out about if he has to go to the ER
Erza bought so many clothes for the baby. She treats them like a little doll and is always playing dress up
They are both the strict parents. Not terribly but they raise their child to behave (tho both are known to give in to the puppy dog eyes)
Jellal cries a lot. He cried when he found out Erza was pregnant, cried when the baby was born, cried when they brought the baby home, etc (he never thought he'd have a life like this)
For the first couple months after the baby is born, Jellal tries to do as much as possible because he wants Erza to rest (she did do all the hard work for nine months so it's only fair that he steps up after birth)
Somehow their home is always clean and they both always look well rested (well Jellal has permanent eye bags but that's just his normal sleep depravation). No one knows how they are so put together with a newborn
Gajevy
Gajeel is that dad that is always talking about his baby. He's always showing pictures, will turn any conversation into a baby story, and in general cannot go five minutes without talking about his baby
Levy did so much research before the baby was born. She bought literally anything and everything the books recommended
Unfortunately that means when something happens that wasn't in the book, Levy panics
Gajeel also has issues with his heightened senses. Levy takes pity on him when it comes to diaper changes (Gajeel has thrown up from particularly foul ones)
Gajeel tried to do that thing where you make the baby listen to music in the moms stomach, but it was his singing. Levy would come up with every excuse in the book for this not to happen
He does sing to the baby now, but Levy finds it adorable and likes to listen (his voice is more suited for lullaby's)
Levy reads to the baby every night. Her book picks vary from actual kids books to textbooks but the baby doesn't know the difference anyway

Hey hey hey, Sorry it took me a lil bit to answer you, i've been uh, ive been havin one heck of a week.
But ya know, welcome to FT 👉😎👉, glad theres still new peeps jumping into it still.
I can't give you a super definite list, but i can give you a few peeps off the top of my head:
@kiliinstinct <- i gotta of course, plug my good good comrade, my braincell homie. They mostly write (current fic of focus is Flame's Desire, check it out 😏) but they also draw from time to time! And theyre gettin better every day
@pencilofawesomeness <- Pencil's blog is a bit multi fandom but! Their FT art tag has got tons of good stuff in there and i got a particular fondness for how they draw Natsu tbh. (Also they write fic as well, How To Raise Your Dragon Slayer which is their ongoing one *wink wink*)
@silken-sails <- Silky, nother good comrade (even tho theyre british rip😔). Super unique n stylized art style tbh.
@grayseyebrowscar <- Milo my insane comrade. 'Nother combo fic writer and artist. Their fics lean a lil more to silly good times which is always fun lol. Fun fics, fun art (its very shaped) . Win win 👍
@oryu404 <- Stingue expert with top notch colouring 👌👌👌
@celestialrayna <- Another Sting and Rogue expert, has a rlly cute chibi style.
@acnologias-ass <- probs one of the cutest art styles out there.

@crowind1 <- the blog for Acnologia art.
Also, of course, I gotta plug the blogs i help run that can help you find other FT blogs easier:
@fairytail-redraw (where lotsa artists take a shot a redrawing the prompts of the month)
@ft-reboost (blog that reblogs art and fic to help give em more love)
@theguildawards (fandom awards event that you can skim through and see the lists of past nominees and winners)
But there's only so many blogs i can remember off the top of my head 😅
So if any other FT artists or fic writers wanna promo their own blog or you got some FT blogs you wanna reccomend as well feel free to reblog this and promo em 👍
It's all about that shameless promo babeeeeyyyy

Hey, first I ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 YOU! Second, if all of the famous FT couples got sucked into a fairy tale book, what stories do you think they’d be in? (I’ve seen many a fic with different ideas.)
hmmm... famous? I'll assume you mean the Big Four + fraxus, yes?
this is a very interesting one. it could mean "what story fits their plot best" or "which characters are they the most like" or even "which traditional fairy tales do you think they'd like the most" - all of which are wonderful questions, glorious-san!
i think the way i shall answer this... hmm. I'm  answering this as "if you were rewriting a fairy tale with these ships as the characters, what would you write?"
i do apologise for this, though, because most of my knowledge of fairy tales comes from general knowledge and disney films
well, for nalu, I'd do cinderella. lucy can relate rather a lot to cinders, I'd imagine - lost her mother young, never had a particularly good relationship with her father, dreams of love and freedom she couldn't have (she can now, of course, but not originally). lucy is beautiful, blonde, whose good looks are subtle but certainly overwhelmingly stunning. natsu is charming, handsome - maybe not the most romantic or rich or a good dancer, but he is certainly loyal, and that's what prince charming is primarily known for. prince charming may not have remembered cinder's face all that well, but he roamed the whole land to look for her, never tiring until he found his princess. natsu would definitely do that for lucy - whether you ship nalu or not, it's true that he is truly devoted to her, and would run all over fiore with a glass slipper to find her. and lucy would definitely be covered in cinders by the end of the tale - and that's what cinderella was named for, after all! 😉
gruvia is a harder one. beauty and the beast comes to mind, although perhaps a role-reversal would be more accurate. gray is handsome, this is true, and when he first met juvia - well, she wasnt exactly the kindest. they were enemies, but like the beast, juvia fell for gray almost instantaneously. she changed herself for him, so he would love her - she stopped harming his friends, she joined the light, she wasnt so full of old traumas and misery. she is obsessive, like the beast, and like beauty and the beast, their relationship... wasnt always healthy, exactly. but she changed for the better, and gray fell for her. i think theyd fit the role rather well - not to mention, bickslow would have a great time making the crockery sing.
gajevy also reminds me of beauty and the beast - levy is clever and beautiful and gajeel... well, isn't - but I've already used that, so I'm thinking something else instead. i could maybe say disney's rapunzel, because tangled is a banging film and gajeel is a little like flynn ryder. we could have them be kristoff and anna, from frozen, or maybe westley and buttercup from the princess bride. frankly, a lot of fairy tales fit their dynamic - elegant young lady falls for dastardly-villain-turned-hero. i want to think of princess and the frog - almost there is a bop - although im going to settle on mulan. mulan is a badass warrior, beautiful, clumsy and clever. she's ambitious, cunning, works hard and fights harder. at first, shang dislikes mulan, similar to the way gajeel dislikes levy. however, during the story, levy makes gajeel sip Respect Women Juice, and gajeel continued to chug it for breakfast for the rest of his life. gajeel loves and fears his badass, cute-ass wife - something i refer to as The Moominpappa Complex - and levy is kinda gender-nonconforming too!
jerza reminds me of the film enchanted - have you seen it? it's very good! - because both of them canonically have feelings for eachother, but both reject those feelings and tell themselves they don't deserve the other. also erza is like snow white because she lives with several funny little men (except we call them the fairy tail guild)
fraxus is .... uh, princess and the frog? laxus is cocky, a little smug, kinda selfish, but hard-working, no-nonsense freed helps him realise the errorof his ways, and teaches him to be less arrogant, less high-and-mighty, and to value his friends. also i REALLY wanna see laxus as a frog and bickslow as a crocodile with a trumpet.
I'm sorry this took so long but i hope the wait was worth it!! its a wonderful question that so many fantastic ideas can come from, so many fics can be prompted by and so many people would answer differently!! are there more ships you'd like me to do it for? perhaps you'd like me to do ships as different ancient myths, or something similar? itd be my pleasure!!!
and finally, glorious-san, i ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 you too! 💕💕💕
have a lovely day!

national fanfic author day
since today (august 21)  is a day to honor and show appreciation towards the lovely people who give canon a run for its money, i thought i would make a list of amazing people who contribute to the world of fan fiction. I think fan fiction is important because it gives authors a chance to throw their fav characters into their own world and give them any story, its also fun af to write and read.
so for today (and everyday) make sure you give love to your authors who put time into creating long wips or short drabbles and everything in between. (this is gonna be long because i want everyone to know why I love them) this is also in no order.

Happy Gajevy week bonus day everyone! We starting to kick things off with this awesome prompt! I can't promise I'll do all the prompts but at least I'll work my way to write for most of them! As always, thank you so much to @ranunculusfox for beta reading my fic :D you're awesome girl! thank you so much for all your hard work that has helped me improve so much ❤ Without further ado, enjoy this fic!
Bonus day prompt: Canon divergent
Word count: 1.9k (would you look at that?!)
FFnet
Why did I agree to this? Levy berated herself as she finally stopped to catch her breath. The stupid bunny ears fell into her sightline as she placed her hands on her knees gasping for some air.
She felt completely humiliated! She wasn’t even in the stupid bet between Team A and B so, why had she been dragged into the punishment game?
Levy had been patting Lucy’s shoulder, comforting her that her punishment wasn’t that bad, considering what Erza had to go through. But her hand stilled and a chill travelled down her spine the moment Gajeel stepped into the room with another bunny outfit in his hands. After lots of begging from Lucy, Levy had put on the stupid bunny suit and prepared to dance to Gajeel’s music along with her friend.
It could be worse, she mused when she was on the stage. No one in the audience seemed to care that the girls were not even synchronized in their dancing or that they had no clue on how to dance to Gajeel’s weird song. Everyone seemed too busy booing Gajeel and throwing things at him to make him shut up to notice his dancers.
She had laughed then. Gajeel definitely had an odd sense of music. But some part of her found it endearing to see the spark of excitement in his eyes minutes before performing. And the proud smirk on his face after one of his shows was something Levy secretly loved to witness.
Then, her mood dropped drastically as she looked to her best friend dancing in her bunny suit next to her. The stupid costume hugged her figure beautifully, and suddenly, all Levy could think was how good Lucy looked and how ridiculous she felt for wearing the same outfit. Levy couldn’t quell all her insecurities as they crawled up her skin. She looked down at herself, and though the bunny suit still hugged her body quite nicely, she couldn’t help but feel like a small child trying on her big sister’s clothes.
Embarrassment and frustration waged war in her heart, and she felt like crying angry tears for acting like a child. But the last thing she needed was to cry in front of an audience and Gajeel. She needed to get out. Now.
So, she ran. She ran as fast as her short legs and high heels would allow her to. She barely registered Gajeel’s gruff voice calling her or how his singing stopped the moment she stepped off the stage.
Magnolia passed in a blur to her as a mountain of thoughts flooded her mind. Truthfully, the reason she accepted to dance was to help Lucy, but something she realized as she had put on the outfit and looked at herself in the mirror was that she also wanted to impress Gajeel.
She wanted to show him how sexy she could be.
Cute and pretty were adjectives she was used to hear whenever someone complimented her. She had yet to hear someone say she was sexy or stunning. Those were words thrown around for other females in Fairy Tail but her. And she hadn’t realized how desperate she was to change that, at least with Gajeel.
She wanted more than anything to catch his eye.
But running away from the stage in tears was the furthest thing from what she wanted to do. She cursed herself. Her plan had been so stupid! She had been so stupid for even fathoming the idea that this could work! And now he would see her more like a pathetic child.
Angry tears pricked at the corner of her eyes but she refused to let them fall.
No, no more. No more humiliation. It’s been enough for one night.
“Oi! There ya are.”
Oh, great! she thought sardonically.
Gajeel’s thudding steps followed his gruff voice. Levy’s jaw clenched tightly. She took a deep breath to compose herself before straightening her back, still facing away from Gajeel.
“Ya know, I told ya before. It ain’t easy finding someone so small.” He barely contained his smirk.
Levy grounded her teeth. She hated that that phrase brought back so many memories of Tenrou Island. How she had yelled at him and ran away. How she had been attacked by Grimoire Heart. How he had come to her rescue and protected her from a fatal blow.
She hated how her heart sped up as memories flowed through her mind. She hated that he had inadvertently made her remember the exact moment when she realized she bore stronger feelings for the iron dragon slayer. Because at this point it was stupid to deny she had a massive crush on Gajeel.
“Then, stop following me, you jerk!” Levy whirled on him, wisps of blue hair lashing out with the movement and her face flushed with anger. She was frustrated at many things and she knew lashing out to Gajeel was not the solution to her emotional turmoil, but oh boy, how great it felt to release some steam.
Seemingly unbothered by her words, Gajeel removed his sunglasses and pocketed them. He was amused at her little outburst but did his best to hide it. “Why the hell did ya ran out like that, Shrimp?” He leaned into the wall next to him.
“It’s none of your business,” she huffed as she crossed her arms over her chest.
He scoffed but said nothing else. The silence stretched between them, leaving both uncomfortable with the situation. Levy finally sighed and her glare lessened in intensity.
“And what are you doing here, Gajeel?” Her tone was no longer of anger but of genuine curiosity.  “Don’t you have a show to get back to?” Levy’s anger was slowly dissipating leaving only embarrassment in its wake. She hugged herself and looked to the ground, unable to keep eye contact with the man before her.
Gajeel noticed her change of demeanour and frowned. He leaned away from the wall to stand right in front of her. “Yeah, but-” he shrugged, “-it ain’t fun without ya there, so…” His voice trailed off at the end of his sentence and now he was the one avoiding looking into her inquisitive eyes.
“Wha-?” Levy’s mind froze. Had he really s-say that out loud?! The way he looked away from her and the faintest blush that spread over his tan skin gave her the answer to her silent question. She wanted to laugh at how uncomfortable he looked by his confession, but she stifled her laughter.
Gajeel scratched the back of his head before sighing. “Look, ‘m sorry.” His eyes connected with hers and she could see the honesty of his apology.
“Huh?”
“Ya know-” he shrugged and stuffed his hands into his pockets, “-for dragging ya into the stupid bet. Just thought it’d be more fun with ya there.” He looked away again as heat started to crawl up his neck. It was quite a feat to look at Levy for more than a couple of seconds with her looking adorable with the pink blush dusting her cheeks and sexy as hell with the red bunny suit showing off all her mouth-watering curves. There was a simple reason Gajeel took his time to catch up with her and that was because he had enjoyed the view of her beautiful ass far too much. But looking at her being so upset and crestfallen once he reached her made the sweet words stumble from his mouth without mulling over the fact for too long.
With him looking so embarrassed about what he had just admitted, made Levy’s laugh burst out of her. Gajeel looked back at her with wide eyes before a frown pulled down his eyebrows. “The hell are ya laughing at, Shrimp?”
“I’m sorry, I just-” she took a deep breath, with one last giggle escaping her lips, “-thank you. For coming after me. And for cheering me up.” The smile she gave him was blinding and Gajeel’s heart did a funny thing in his chest from the simple gesture.
He cracked a smirk and ruffled her hair with his hand. “Don’t mention it, Shorty.”
His hand slid until he was cupping her cheek. Her hazel eyes locked with his red gaze. He swore he could see far more stars twinkling in her eyes than he had ever gazed into the night sky. She leaned into his hand with a sweet smile playing on her lips. Something stirred inside Gajeel when his eyes looked down at her soft lips. His instinct begged him to kiss her in that moment.
“Hey sweetheart, dance for us!”
“Yeah! Give us a show~”
Both Gajeel and Levy jumped back a step as if a spell had been lifted from them. They had been so close. Gajeel had been leaning down while still holding her cheek gently, and Levy had placed her hands over his chest to balance herself as she rose to her toes. But before their lips could meet halfway, the men on the street started catcalling Levy.
It took them a minute to pull themselves together, with their hearts racing a mile a minute and their cheeks completely covered by a furious blush. Gajeel was the first to whirl around and face the men on the street that kept shouting dirty words at Levy. He growled in warning and the men shut up immediately.
“She ain’t for show, you pervs! Now get the fuck outta here or I’ll beat ya’ll up!” He roared and the men scrambled quickly to get away from Gajeel’s sight. He huffed in annoyance with a scowl contorting his features. He had been so close to kissing Levy. Or had it been her that was close to kissing him? Dammit, my heart won’t calm down.
Laughter caught his attention and he looked back to see Levy giggling. His scowl relaxed into a soft smile just by looking at her.
“Should we go back to the guild, Gajeel?” She smiled.
He returned the gesture with a nod. “Yeah, let’s go.”
Gajeel shrugged off his jacket and wrapped it around Levy’s shoulders to shield her from the chill of the night that had already fallen over Magnolia’s streets. She smiled again as she accepted his jacket that dwarfed over her petite body.
“Thank you.”
Before the courage could leave him, he held her chin between his thumb and finger, placing a chaste, quick kiss to her rich lips. It was over far sooner than he would have wanted but he remained close enough to her face that her breath tickled his skin.
“Don’t mention it, Shrimp,” he whispered. Her smile was dazzling and he found his lips tilting up in a gentle smile.
Then, a feral grin spread over his face and before Levy could process it all, Gajeel had stooped down and thrown her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes with a surprised squeak escaping her lips.
“What are you doing Gajeel Redfox?! Put me down!” she shrieked but laughter bubbled up her chest as her tiny fists pummelled on his broad back. Her plea was only met by his low chuckle.
“What? I’m just taking ya back to the guild, Shorty. Gihi!” She couldn’t see his face but could clearly hear his charming smirk on his voice.
It was just a bonus that Gajeel had the best view of Levy’s perfect ass as he carried her back to the guild.
A/N: Thank you so much for reading :) Let me know what you think about this. In case it wasn't that clear, this is placed after the GMG tournament during the punishment game between Team A and B where Levy is forced to dance in a bunny suit along with Lucy to Gajeel's song haha I just gave it my own little twist.

"Strees Test" prompt, Gajevy; Levy undergoing a stress test and Gajeel checking her vitals
Thank you Anon for the request.  I haven’t done a GaLe fic in quite awhile so I hope you like it :)
*Edit- Here is a NSFW version
Litmus
As she sat on the examination table awaiting the doctor’s arrival, Levy couldn’t help but let some of her nerves run a little freely.  She was still a young woman pushing her late 20’s and didn’t understand why her regular doctor had ordered this test.  But in the end, she trusted her friend, Doctor Heartfillia, I mean the girl had excelled through medical school with high marks and quickly landed a position with a well-known clinic upon graduation.  That had to mean Lucy knew what she was prescribing, right?
So, she decided to focus on other things in the room to take her mind of the upcoming test, like why are these exam station’s always so high?  Even a tall person’s leg’s may not reach the floor when fully seated but for the vertically challenged like her, the scene must be amusing.  Levy swings her legs a bit, giggling to the empty room at how she must look like a child right now.
After she had arrived a female nurse had hooked her up to an EKG machine, explaining that they needed to obtain a control sample of her heart rate before the actual stress test began. The monitor was a bunch of peaks and beeps, but as far as Levy could tell, they looked normal.  With an even and steady rhythm, and no strange looking mountain’s or valleys, it only added to her irritation for having been sent here when nothing seemed wrong with her.
‘If it turns out I’m healthy, Lucy is going to owe me lunch for wasting my time!  And where is this doctor?  The nurse said 10 minutes and I swear it’s been longer,’looking at her phone, ‘yup, 20 minutes and counting!’
By the 30-minute mark, the bluenette was ready to rip the electrodes off and leave, to hell with the test, she had other plans that day and while they may not be important, it sure would be better than sitting in the cold doctor’s office!  There is a knock at the door and finally the doctor walks in.  She turns ready to give him or her an earful about being tardy, but the words die in her throat.
“Sorry for the wait Ms. McGarden, another test subject took longer than expected.  I’m Doctor Redfox, but please call me Gajeel,” sticking out his hand to shake, “I’ll be running the test on you.”
“Please, j-just call me Levy,” returning the gesture with a blooming blush to her cheeks.
It was like some surreal scene in a fiction story with the odd, out of place character, for the man before her looked like he’d be more comfortable under the hood of a car rather than in a white coat.  His voice was gruff, hands like a vice, muscles for days, and piercings, what kind of doctor walked around with visible tattoo’s and piercings?!  Even his hair, while tied back in a low hanging pony, was long and reminiscent of a rock band member, not a medical professional!  A sneaking suspicion slinked its way through her mind, Lucy had planned this, there was nothing wrong with her, and it was all a matchmaking session!
Levy couldn’t know at the time, that while it was her best friend that had set up this little meeting, it was at the, well, behest of the current doctor in the room.  Gajeel had seen the pretty little woman with his colleague and fell head over heels.  But now up close and personal, he wondered how he was going to make it through this rouse while maintaining a professional manner.  Just the way her feet barely reached half way to the floor was absolutely adorable!
The longer she stared at the hulking doctor, the more her nerves spiraled, and soon the once tranquil peaks and valleys turned tsunami waves, the rhythmic beeps a new techno sound. Alarmed at the rapid change in heartrate and the now rosy young woman, Gajeel ushers her to lie down.  “How often do you experience such sudden attacks?”
“I don’t…. I-I mean this is my first time.”
He hadn’t expected a real reaction to happen, the plan was to simply run her through the test, make small talk, hopefully build a nice rapport, and confirm that she was fit as a fiddle.  Concerned that there could be an underlying issue or simply machine error, he turns to check the monitors, clicking and reading through the screens, verifying up till the moment he walked in her EKG was within the normal range.  Gajeel returns to Levy’s side with a good idea of what caused the attack.
Taking her pulse manually by way of her wrist, secretly relishing how tiny it was in his hand, “your heart rate has come down but it’s still higher than your normal range.”  He smiles and locks eyes with the nervous woman, his voice softening along with his expression, “that’s a good sign.”
“Great…”
“I don’t think I’d want to put you through a real test so quickly after an episode…”
“Why not?!  I’d rather just get it over with this.  I swear there’s nothing even wrong with me.”
“It would be unethical for me to put your heart through such stress twice in a day, and I for one wouldn’t mind seeing you again.”
Levy sits up, “you want to me see… a-again?”
Now it was his turn to be nervous.  With her mocha hues, bright and trained waiting for a response, suddenly the chart in his hand weighed like a brick.  He places it on the edge of the nearby counter, and runs his hand over his hair, “gehe, what I meant to say…”  ‘fuck her eyes are really…’  “I mean…”
“You mean?”
“Okay look, the truth is this was all a set up…”
“I knew it!”  Levy jumps off the table, shaking a finger at him. ‘Wow, he’s tall…’shaking the thought off.  “Lucy did this as a joke right?!  I am totally going to get her back for wasting my time…”
“No, no,” Gajeel waves his hands, “it’s not her fault, I asked her to set this up.”
Levy straightens out and stops berating him, “Huh?  Why would you…. We’ve never even met before…”
“I saw you one day with her and, I, ah, gehe, thought you were really cute, so I begged her to help me.”
“I see…” she leans back against the exam table with a new glint in her eye.  “Tell you what, you take me out to dinner tonight and I’ll forgive both of you for this little escapade.  Throw in a little bribery, and I’ll maybe… give you a chance for a do-over.”
“Done!  Gehe, I’ll take you anywhere you wanna go!  Wait, where do you like to eat?”
She sashay’s over to him and pats his chest, “figure it out big boy,” winks and walks out the door.
Whipping out his phone, Gajeel punches in Lucy’s number faster than he’s ever dialed before, “911!  What’s Levy’s favorite restaurant?!”

Note
Hello, you have been identified as An Awesome Writer™. Congrats, you rock! So that all of your readers can shower you with some extra love today, please tell us your favourite five (or as many as you want) stories of yours and why you like them and then send this to another five fic authors you think deserve this title! ♥
haha thank you so much >///
1. MedusaAu! Stories: TBH I don’t think the writing is very good now looking at it, but I just really loved the idea back then and now. Medusa!Levy is just so cute imo.
2. LeLu: I want a baby I just think its really cute
3. Gajevy: Knights AU: This is my longest fanfic I’ve ever written, and the longest amount of time I took on a fanfic (about a month lmao). It’s based on a comic by Rusky a few years ago I just loved, and still tbh, and couldn’t stop myself from creating something from it. I actually think this is my favorite thing I’ve done, even if I feel the writing is subpar I’m happy with what I came up with.
4.  Gajevy: Idle Gossip: I really enjoyed writing this one, just them talking over some nonsense gossip with each other and enjoying each other. It was fun to write.
5. Gajevy: To1 be a father: This was written after Gajeel’s confession in the manga and it showed/confirmed the twins existence. and it was a HC and still kinda that Gajeel would have some issues at first considering everything he’s done, in being a father but would eventually embrace it. I’m not sure if I succeeded but it was something I wanted to explore I guess.
6. Gajevy: Just Perfect: This was written for one of my good friend’s birthday last year and I just enjoyed how it came out. I love writing about the beginning with the babies and everything.
7. Gajevy: Thank You: Based on a HC me and Rusky share about Levy giving birth being difficult and all. I just love that HC especially since its something me and her have heavily discussed, and anything with Rusky makes me enjoy things more.
8. LeLu: Scars: This was a theme I always wanted to do with them, and I’m glad I was finally able to successfully do it.
9. LeLu: Firsts: This one is just really special to me, I can’t really explain why.
10. Gajevy: Can I touch you?  I had a hard time writing this fic and I’m extremely proud with how it came out and everything.
11. Gajevy: How is my wife more badass than me?: I also had a hard time writing this fic but I’m happy with how it came out and with how much ppl liked it. Since I was worried about that since I didn’t do it in a way people would expect I guess or want to see, but oh well.

An Iron Grip- Chapter 1
I posted about having this Gajevy fic that’s been sitting in my computer for a few years and thanks to all the encouragement I’ve decided to finally start posting it- all in all its about 40 chapters long give or take a bit; I’m going to update about 3 times a week with a new chapter so you guys dont have to wait too long :) This is my first fic so i’d appreciate some constructive criticism <3
Pairing: Gajevy
Words: 3,045
Will update every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday :)
Summary: There is no magic. There is no wizards or dragons, that was all just make believe- or so Levy had been told. Her world is turned upside down when a dark guild comes after her, searching for a rare book, and everything she thinks she knows turns out to be wrong. Unwillingly thrust into a dark hidden underbelly of Magnolia city she must trust an unlikely band of misfits, a magic guild called Fairy Tail. Will Levy cave under the pressure or will she grow to be more than she every thought she would be and make some new friends along the way?
Chapter 2. Chapter 3.
_______________________________________________________________________
The world swirled around Levy, black and white flashing ever faster. She was falling and falling fast. There wasn’t even enough time for her to scream; the air was sucked out of her lungs as the air cut past her. The fall seemed like forever even though she was sure realistically it was only a few seconds. But everything slowed. She’d hit the ground soon, she was sure of that too. The ground was hard concrete, unforgiving and cold. And she was just so so small. She wouldn’t stand a chance in hell against it. Levy squeezed her eyes shut and let herself fall. There was nothing she could do but wait for the floor to meet her. This was it. This was how she was going to go- alone and weak. This was it.
'I’m so sorry Gajeel, I’m sorry I couldn’t help you’ she thought to herself.
   And then everything stopped.
The sun was shining as Levy woke up. 9:03 her alarm clock that failed to ring read. She had slept in and the light yellow glow that filtered through her windows and curtains welcomed her to the day. Birds were passing by, hopping and foraging in the window box on the outside of her home, and soaring through the sky, not a care in the world.
Levy stretched, her hands in fists that stretched to the ceiling. She rolled out of her bed, rubbing her eyes and yawning. The girl swung her legs off the bed, her light blanket wrapped around her ankles as it fell with them, a book tumbling down to her wood floors. She picked it up and smiled- Fair Tail.
A classic in every sense of the word at least in her eyes. It was a childish story really, about dragons and princesses and love, but god if it wasn’t her favorite. There was a whole other world in those pages, where magic was real and friendships were made of family instead of strangers. It was a landscape she had always dreamed of as a child. A story about a warrior guild called Fairy Tail. It was everything she had ever wanted. Gingerly she touched the cover, it was rough and peeling. Years of love and reading had done its toll, she knew she should get a new copy but she couldn’t bring herself to retire it and besides, she’d never seen another one on any shelf . Levy placed the book on her nightstand gingerly and threw on a clean dress. The orange fabric was light and airy, perfect for the hot summer weather they were having in Magnolia right now.
She let her feet take her out of her bedroom, past the small living room of her apartment and into the white kitchen that she loved. It was rustic and small, the cream tile accented the worn white cabinets. There wasn’t much in them though, since it was just her. A few dishes, bowls, and mugs for her tea was all she really needed. She didn’t even have a dishwasher. Less plates and silverware means less mess right? she tried to reason when anyone told her to get one. She put her kettle on the stove and padded to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face.
She let the cold water run through her fingers for a moment and looked in the mirror. Her grey eyes were large and wide, and her blue hair was wild, as it usually was. There was just no taming it- no matter what she did it was wild and had a mind of its own. She pulled an orange headband on, at least trying to keep the most rebellious strands out of her face. She smiled at herself, happy with what she saw. She wasn’t tall like her best friend Lucy was, she wasn’t busty like her either, but she didn’t mind. Her short stature was fine with her most days and she had curves of her own, though not as pronounced as most of her friend group. Lucy would tease her saying she should have drank her milk when she was young, Levy in turn would tell Lucy she must have drank too much. It was fine though, it kept her out of the spotlight, she wasn’t beautiful like Lucy or Juvia or Mira, but she was cute and that was alright too. Less attention meant more time for reading she supposed.
A loud whistle sounded from across the house signaling that her tea water was ready. She ran to it and poured it into a thermos, and grabbed her purse from next to the door. She slipped her blue sneakers on, locked her door and headed to town.
The walk through Magnolia city was peaceful. The city was a merchant town. She had read once that it was dead set in the middle between two harbor towns hundreds of years ago and was the go between for the two town’s residences. The towns didn’t much like each other but each had something the other needed so they made it work. It was like Magnolia was their DMZ; no fighting allowed in the city limits, though that didn’t stop many people. The folks in town were a breed of their own having come from all across the world to the trading hub. There were people selling their furs from up north, though this time of year they mainly sold leather goods since there was no need for such heavy furs in the middle of June. There were fishermen from the west selling their fresh morning catches, calling out prices to those walking past and there were crafters from the east, all brash and odd in their own way. And then there were the tourists from the South, they came to Magnolia from the lowest points of Fiore to catch glimpses of the scenery and tour the city. The city had its own flavor to it and of all the places that Levy had been it had always been her favorite, no other place could compare.
She walked with a pep in her step, waving to the merchants as they called to her from their booths and shops. Everyone knew the bookworm and in turn she knew everyone. Though the city was large and vast she was sure she’d visited every shop to find rare books. She had leather-bound ones from a kind fisherman, she had seal-bound ones from a one eye’d trapper in the north, and she had a great collection of fairy tails from a sweet old grandmother who she was sure thought she was a child instead of a young woman.
Levy stopped before a green shop, its old carved sign read “McGarden Books”, and unlocked the door. It had been her father’s shop before he had passed away. It was her pride and joy and though it didn’t make much money it made her happy to have a purpose- regulars to the shop kept it going and well stocked. She put her stuff down and pulled the curtains to the large front bay windows open, letting the light come through the shop, illuminating the ever present book dust. No matter how much time she spent cleaning, there was just some things that you couldn’t get rid of all the way. She had a beautiful view of the canal from her shop and often she didn’t mind spending hours sitting at her front desk, a book in her hand, a mug of tea on the dark maple desk, and watching as the small boats went past.
As the day rolled on and the morning grew to afternoon people filtered in and out of the shop, books leaving with them, others being put on the shelf to take their new home. Levy looked up as the bell above the door dinged, a man in a tailored suit wandered in, his hands in his pockets. He was tall and lanky a mop of brown hair on his head. His eyes were sharp and met hers for a moment before moving away as he took in the shop. Something about him put Levy on edge- maybe it was the way he was slouching, like he was better than everything, or maybe it was the was picking things up and flinging them down without so much as a care. Levy put the pile of books she was categorizing down and went to the new comer, she had never seen him around before.
“Can I help you find anything sir?” she called to him as she made her way behind her desk, putting it between them.
His eyes took her in, roaming down his body, his gaze leering, and then back to her face. “Actually, Sweetheart, I’m in the rare book business, maybe you have what I’m looking for- I’ve heard you had quite the collection here. I’m looking for Fairy Tail, rumor has it you know where to find it.” He leaned his arm on the counter. Levy knew it was supposed to come off as relaxed but she also saw it as the calculated move it was. Something wasn’t right about him. And she sure wasn’t going to part with her favorite book.
“I’m sorry sir, none of the older copies are for sale. We categorize them for preservation, they’re not for sale” she told him matter of factly. Truth is, all the books in the store were for sale, she just didn’t like him.
He made a tsk noise and stood from his relaxed pose, hands making their way back to his pant pockets and then back to the counter. A wad of money was curled in one of them, a rubber band keeping it tight. Oh come on, for the right price everything is for sale. I’ve got the cash for it I assure you.”
Levy rolled her eyes. “Incase you missed what I said, they’re not for sale. I can’t help you. Have a good day, sir.” She took a book from her pile and started sticking it again, hoping he would take the hint. He stood there watching her for a moment before putting the money back into his pocket.
The man hummed a response and turned towards the exit. He opened the door and paused, looking back at the blue haired girl. “Nice talking to you Levy, I’ll be seeing you.” And with that he left, the door shutting with a clatter behind him.
Levy looked up from her books, her eyebrows scrunched. She looked down at her shirt. ‘I’m not wearing my name tag, how did he know my name? Gosh I sure hope he doesn’t come back. No means no, jeez. she shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts, she wouldn’t let it bother her too much. Magnolia was filled with oddities and even odder people, one more was just another piece of the collection.
Night fell slowly, so slow that Levy barely noticed it was dark until the dim streetlights outside hummed on. She was so engrossed in her book that she hadn’t even registered the sky was now a dark shade of blue. Her last customer had left hours ago, leaving her alone in the old shop. Her clock’s minute hand clicked closer to the 10pm mark. She stretched and put her book back on its shelf, saving her place with a folded corner. Levy grabbed her bag and keys and locked the store
The trek back home wasn’t long, maybe a 15 minute walk, but the dark made it seem longer. There were very few people on the streets this time of night, and the water of the canal lapped at the stone edges. Levy scuffed her foot against the cobblestone street. She moved to the side as a man tall man trudged past her, their gazes met as they passed. His eyes were red, he had metal piercings above them. A gasp escaped her as their eyes met and it took all her being not to shrink back away from the man. She heard him chuckle but he didn’t stop. Levy glanced back after him, she watched his long black hair swayed in the night wind, the light of the streetlights bounced off his tanned muscles. A black tattoo on his shoulder ate the light as it went over him- there was something familiar about it, but she didn’t get a great look as he had passed. She shook her head and kept walking. Looks like Magnolia has gained two weirdos.
Her feet carried her around the corner, her usual way home. A man was lounging against the brick wall, light from his cigarette illuminating in the night. The red embers fell from it as he huffed at the end. Levy crossed the street from the man, Magnolia was a kind town but she knew not to be naive enough to trust a lone man at night. She sped up her walk as she passed him, keeping a tab on him as she went. When she got a feet from him she could have sworn she heard footsteps follow, she turned to find the man gone, she was alone in the sidewalk, it was like the cigarette smoking man had disappeared into thin air.
Levy turned back towards home, a gust of wind blowing past her and suddenly she was on the ground. Pain laced her head as she fell, she opened her eyes, not even realizing she had shut them and suddenly the man was back. He was standing a few feet from her, his burning embers falling to the cobblestone. They died as they hit the ground. Levy’s mind was spinning. She hadn’t even seen where he had come from, hadn’t even seen where he had gone. He stalked forward, she tried to get up but her head throbbed and her knee hurt, she was no longer in the middle of the sidewalk but now was laying toward the mouth of the street.
The man walked into the light, she could see his face, her eyes widening. “I did say I’d come by again, didn’t I, Levy? It’s so lovely to see you.” It was the same man from earlier in the shop. The one who had tried to buy her favorite book. But he looked different now, his before narrow eyes were now wide and bloodshot and his stance was no longer a facade of relaxness, it was rigid and taut.
Levy again tried to get up, she managed to get to her feet, shakily. The man was watching her, a ghastly smile on his face, it revealed spiked teeth that she was sure weren’t there when he was in the shop. She huffed, holding her side, it hurt from her landing. Levy blinked and suddenly he was there, right in front of her, he struck her with the back of her hand, sending her flying again with a force that she could barely process. She tasted blood. She tried to look for her bag. My mace, i have to get my mace! Lucy had jokingly given her a spray can of the potent stuff for her birthday saying she’d have to beat those boys off with how pretty she was turning out to be. Levy doubted she’d ever have to use it but put it in her bag anyway. That had been three years ago. Her bag laid a few feet from her, the contents falling across the street, she could spot the little red can closer than the rest of the items, the silver of the cap shining, but if only she could reach it.
Everything hurt, and the man was in front of her again, pushing her to the ground, he grabbed the front of her shirt as she scrambled away, scraping her arms and hands on the stone. “Now, where’s the book, little girl? I won’t hurt you if you just hand the fucking thing over” he snarled, his teeth really were pointed. He was a terrifying monster, totally inhuman, Levy barely had time to process what was happening. He held her there, his eyes boring into hers, her hands still scrambling as his fingers laced into the front of her dress, it was starting to tear, his fingers were turning to claws right before her eyes. She screamed at the sight. What were once normal human hands were now slowly covering in hunter green scales, flickering in the light.
Suddenly her hand grabbed something cylindrical and cold. The mace! she wound her fingers around it and quick as she could sprayed the man, he fell back coughing and holding his face. He screamed, and so did she, as she ran away, tears streaming down her face
She scrambled, running for the mouth of the street, back the way she had come. Her legs pumped but she faltered, her foot catching an uneven stone. she fell, sliding and scraping to the ground, there was blood on the side of her face, blood on her arms, blood on her knees. Levy huffed but the world was going fuzzy, everything was turning black around the edges of her vision.
The man was up again, claws sticking out of his once normal hands and ripping through his black leather shoes “YOU BITCH!!” he seethed as he came closer to her, as he neared he shouted something that Levy couldn’t make out. Her senses were lapsing, failing her right when she needed them the most. She watched in horror as he charged at her, his bulging eyes rilled with rage. She closed her eyes and waited for the impact but it never came. Instead she heard a loud crack like metal buckling.
She cracked her eyes open, her eyes going wide. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing. It was the man she had passed on the street. He was standing in front of her, protecting her. He had the man- thing, levy corrected herself, in a headlock. His arms were no longer tanned muscle but a dark grey color, they shone like metal.
He glanced back at her, their eyes met. His red to her grey. And then the world closed in around her and she fell into the void.

Gajevy Fic Recs - 7/17
For @phoenix-before-the-flame the long awaited rec list for Gajevy fics…
So first of, sorry for the wait… Here you can check out some of the authors I already recommended previously (LINK) and I’ll try to add to those some of my fav stories in here (not in any specific order):
Beast and The Beauty by Candified Chaos (FFNET). As its name implies, it’s a ‘Beauty and The Beast’ AU but with different and interesting set up (hint: check the title again). Fluff, magic and slowburn romance.
Obsessive Impulsive by @riverofmemoriesft. Angst, thriller and the kind of story that squeezes you heart while reading it. (Completed)
The Dragon and his Fairy by @snowmadien. Story in which a tiny little creature is able to shake a Dragon to his core. Fairy!Levy and Dragon!Gajeel. Lovely story <3</p>
Compliments to the Chef by @xambedo. So many emotions wrapped up in this beautiful story (Completed)
Must Love Cats by @theolddarkmachine. Pet sitter!Levy who undeniably falls in love with sexy cat owner Gajeel, who in return can’t get Levy out of his mind.
In Secret by @gajeelswoman (FFNET too). Canon-verse where Levy trains with Gajeel and helps him keep one hell of important secret from the rest of the guild. Fluffy, cute, action and they-are-slowly-but-surely -falling-in-love.
Rootless by @chesxca-c (FFNET). This is the Rockstar!AU everyone has been looking for, because, who wouldn’t fall in love for the blue-haired singer of a famous band?
Ocean’s Tides by @mangaguitar96 (FFNET). Merpeople!AU with so many interesting environmental problems from real life.
@smartcookie727 great one-shots and the queen of smut imo <3</p>
@writingissues SO MANY one-shots! And really really good ones!
@spikerr also many MANY one-shots with so much emotions engraved in so few words (seriously, how do you do that dude?!)
As I mentioned to you in PM,The Walled Garden by @moonbeammadness (FFNET) and Iron Legends: Reforged by @neen-writes (FFNET) are on my ‘must read’ tier.
Most of these are work-in-progress but the authors are still updating frequently and they are active either here in tumblr or in ffnet, so you can chat with them about their update schedules if you’re interested. Most of them also have more than one story so I recommend you to check out their blogs.
Most of the times when there’s an update on any of these stories I will reblog it. You can look at the stories I have reblogged under the tag ‘fanfic’ (Sometimes I will dig up some really old fanfics from other authors that I find to be really good and worth sharing)
Finally, I’m also a Gajevy fanfic writer and if you want to check out my work, here’s my ffnet account and the tag I use for my stories.
Hope this helps! And anyone is welcome to add their own recs for Gajevy stories!
@ranunculus-fox here’s the list for you too!
