just watched a pjsekai analysis video and i hate ppl. it was basically someone debunking the idea of mizuki being trans using japanese terminology + thinking ppl Only care abt their gender . like i cant name anyone in the pjsekai fandom who only cares abt mizuki’s gender, ppl just like seeing themselves in fiction?? which isnt a bad thing??? like i understand tryna debunk smth based on flimsy evidence as to not get someones hopes up if someone turns out to Not be lgbt but i dont get the obsession ............ 

like i do understand the reading of mizuki representing otherness in itself and not tryna conform to society. like i hc mizuki as autistic but like aside from them using ‘boku’ to refer to themself, the trans coding is There so why blame ppl for focusing on that, esp when them keeping a secret from their friends in fear of rejection is a big part of their character rn?? i feel like this person just didnt read the 25ji event stories bc cmon . also the op said that mizuki doesnt experience dysphoria when HELLO ???? THEY DO???? and also they dont Have to like dysphoria isnt the end all be all of transness i just!!!!! they also mentioned a “possible” narrative of mizuki being forced to wear masc clothing in middle school when they actually wanna be feminine or vice versa and idk what to tell u but ppl just . Don’t do that. 

idk its just tiring ghfjhd like these r just constant points ppl use to either deny the idea of a character being trans or to justify an imaginary scenario of how ppl read/analyze a character
